Another Sunday afternoon of automotive bliss, it’s 4pm here in South Wales & I have a cold beer, a pack of chips & Bellos Kustoms life doesn’t get much better
BELLO'S! TAS MAS LOCO! WHAT WERE GONNA DO NOW! THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE VOICE OF THE INTRUCTOR, THAT TAUGHT BADDD CHADDD HOW TO READ A TAPE MEASURE! THAT PINCHE VATO DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO READ A TAPE MEASURE. THATS FIVE & THREE TICKS! BELLO'S YOUR CHANNEL SHOW THE WORLD, THAT A CHICANO LAYS DOWN SOME OF THESE BADDEST BOMBITAS! BUT WITH PURE QUALITY WORK! NO HALF ASS! KEEP DROPING THE NEW VIDEOS. ADIOS....
Welcome to "Church Sunday" with the Good Reverend Bello. Preaching the suspension gospel to todo los locochones! And on the eighth day the good lord created Kustoms! Great Job Mike...you don't know it, but you may have saved many a backyard engineer from themselves! Fabrication is.more about should we do it and less about could we do it!
Driveability over looks and built to Mike Bello's standard makes both a driveable and badass lookin ride. This owner needs you to rebuild the rear suspension.
The problem with this channel is,...... Sometimes i like watching this more than working on my own shit hahahaha, ,. . .. but it is also very motivating at times. Love the channel mannnnnnnn 😎😎😎
Happy birthday Mike. It’s one thing to build a Hotrod but knowing HOW to build one is another thing brother! Keep it coming and thanks to big Steve for his excellent work.
Thanks Mike for explaining the front end how the geometry work's with the air ride. So when mine's gets done I'll know not to mess around with a bunch of old parts because I'm one of those guy's that use my vehicles for everyday driving. That's why I don't have new paint job's on any of my car's. I had new painted car it was like a magnet every thing flicked or wanted to sit, lay, bump on it. I kept the wheels tires and windows clean clean!
Amazing upload.. but I think if you went down these comments everyone would agree with me that these videos should be dramatically longer !!! 30 min ? Cmon son.. they should be a minimum of an hour or two or three…💯💯💯
I've even seen IFS on fenderless roadsters . It takes a minute to get used to the look , but there's no more bump steer or side to side rocking that's so common to dropped axle cars . Couple that with a 4 link rear ...they drive like brand new cars . Only with good handling and good brakes . Top notch shop doing top notch work .
Love it awesome good explanation on ride height and geometry of suspension travel keep up the great work.😊 very hard to explain to customers they never understand! Locochones new mexico awesome!!
Hey Mike and crew at Bellos kustoms. Yeah, why build a car if you cant rip up the road and enjoy it. You just gonna look at it? Moving the coil up top is just practical. A car that steers and handles and stops, what a concept. Now your customer is cruisin west side style. Thanks
IFS for the win. Mike takes it to another level folks. Top tier fabrication it doesn't get any better baby. You f#*k with Mike you F*%king with the best! 😉✌
Oh yeah, Felix Compleanos lokochon. Good health and good content leads to many more years of your great work and your cameramans great videos. God Bless
"Life Lessons" by Mike Bello. It's a good book! Plus, some cameos of Metal Shop Teacher Mr. Bello! 😂 (Mike's really honestly good at teaching tho!) They did a good job before, but what Mike does here is the difference between good and excellent! He didn't just fix the suspension, he fixed everything! "Chingamajiggers!" 🤣¡Órale! 🤣
I like that you guys post up on Bueno Domingo Sundays - it's almost like you know what you're doing....as for the rest of the car I call it Bad Coddington... ¡ Cumpleanos Hgyue !
Awesome content Mike, now fix that rear end suspension! 1” tube? Not on any of my rides! The plate should have a gusset or 2 . Very nice work installing the front end and steering. See you next week!!
Ideally at ride height on a Mustang II suspension the lower arms should be parallel to the ground. An air bag has a specific ride height just like a spring and will give the best ride at that dimension
I look at Bello's craftsmanship and impeccable taste and wish that I could get back the time wasted watching those other Custom Crafting shows. Everything shown here makes me feel like I have a part in the process; even the joking and camaraderie around lunch time. Thanks.
That is one beautiful car. Once again I'm impressed with your knowledge and workmanship. Even the shop is impressive. I picked up my '57 Chevy pickup from a shop. My daughter driving behind me said I was going to get pulled over. It looked like I was driving drunk. The steering box wasn't bolted tight to the frame. How they overlooked the obvious is beyond me.
Saw you today by the Lomas Verde rec center. Made my day! FYI that silver Prius is my wife's daily... 😆 Thanks for kickin it down and letting me hear those cherry bombs. Just found out it was your b-day. Hope you had a great Sunday. Hopefully our paths will cross again. Keep doing what your doin big dawg!💪
Happy birthday. With cross steer up and down changes your tow so makes it go left and right with fast driving change makes car sway around road. With a rack steering up and down changes camber does not affect tow aka left and right it affects tire wear and traction. So at ride height tire has full contact with the road, if lowered the inside of tire tread has most contact if raised above set ride height the outside of tread has most contact.
i mostly build straight axle cars but i can tell you Mike is 100% correct about them. they have a lot of limitations. ifs is far superior all around. hot rods = staight axle, kustoms = ifs
Outstanding job. Great explanation. I read a few negative comments from the last video, and since I dont have a straight axle on bags, I thought well maybe the client just wanted an upgrade. You fully explained what you fixed and how the geometry is so much better and how much greater lift you get out of the bags. I have a friend who has a 35 3 window coupe that you did this upgrade to. He says it drives like a new car and doesnt drag over bumps and driveway aprons. Keep up the great work
Damn it Mikio,i sure wish i could get you to work on my '41 chevy trokita. An IFS setup for the front end would be nice. Beautiful work you did today. Gracias for the video
Happy Birthday Mike, I admire your work, and you are so right about that 3/16th plate that will be taking all the shock from all the bumps the rear will be hitting and the light tube as well.
I always love watching your work Mike. I would love to visit your shop some time. I am helping my brother-in-law who had a total hip replacement here in Sun City near Hemet. I should be here for a few months. It would be a real pleasure to visit while I am here.
19:50 never seen anyone leave the crossmember open like that... everyone i know, me included, plate the ends closed and tie the outer plate into the frame.
Sunday morning with Mike and Carapilla! It's a flathead! Guy spends so much loot for a car, you want it to steer and ride proper. Dude needs to pay Mike to clean up the rear!
I bought it like that. It was show car never driven. The builder tried to keep it original but then didn't. Iam a driver and want to have a sooth ride. So we fixed that. It drives great now
Happy Anniversary of your Day of Birth, Mike! Since no one mentioned it, I'll try to explain the bondo on the frame. (I know you know this!) Not knowing the history of the car, I can only guess. But my personal experience with working on cars built for the show circut, when painting the frame, it's easier to fill/bondo the frame than try to work the complete frame to make it glass smooth. This is only for cars built for the show circut though. And the "limbo" you mention is toe-in/out.
Another Sunday afternoon of automotive bliss, it’s 4pm here in South Wales & I have a cold beer, a pack of chips & Bellos Kustoms life doesn’t get much better
Don't you mob drink hot beer
Hot or cold I had an hangover that lasted all day Sunday I’ll have to watch this again..

Happy birthday Mike. It’s one thing to build a Hotrod but knowing HOW to build one is another thing brother! Keep it coming and thanks to big Steve for his excellent work.
We only know how good you are Mike because your Videographer is also very good. I certainly hope you feed him very well! -_Q

Love it awesome good explanation on ride height and geometry of suspension travel keep up the great work.😊 very hard to explain to customers they never understand! Locochones new mexico awesome!!
That steering squirly's you talk about is called Bump steer.
Hey Mike and crew at Bellos kustoms. Yeah, why build a car if you cant rip up the road and enjoy it. You just gonna look at it? Moving the coil up top is just practical. A car that steers and handles and stops, what a concept. Now your customer is cruisin west side style. Thanks
🎉Happy Bday Mike
Another satisfied customer, no doubt. Great explanation of how bump steer affects drivability, too.
Love your work, Mike.

Great explanation of steering geometry, this guy would have excelled if he had made rocket science his chosen field.👍
Cool video ...👍
Hope you enjoyed your birthday. Thank you for sharing your time & talents. Videos look great too.
100% Correct on the rear suspension!!! Enjoy your videos Mike!!
Awesome video
I need to fix my 47 ford, hook me up mike 😂
Love your builds, agree with the IFS suspension and hiding coils and such. It still can look clean without hiding everything.

"Chingamajiggers!" 🤣¡Órale! 🤣
I was going to ask on the first video but I figured I wait and let you explain why that first suspension wouldn’t work. That car is so slick!
I like that you guys post up on Bueno Domingo Sundays - it's almost like you know what you're doing....as for the rest of the car I call it Bad Coddington... ¡ Cumpleanos Hgyue !
If Henry Ford was alive you would have been his favorite suspension expert . -- Mike from Tampa

Happy Birthday, Mike 🙂 Beautiful job - it's all the little engineering details that make it work in unison. Great content as usual 🙂
Man Mike, what you did on that suspension to upgrade someone else's completed work, is absolute genius status brother. Ready to smash!!!

Checking out older video this morning. Nice clean installation, that's done right. Like the car, made to drive....
i mostly build straight axle cars but i can tell you Mike is 100% correct about them. they have a lot of limitations. ifs is far superior all around. hot rods = staight axle, kustoms = ifs

Happy Anniversary of your Day of Birth, Mike!
Since no one mentioned it, I'll try to explain the bondo on the frame. (I know you know this!)
