This series aims to show the best vehicles to use in GTA Online in a racing situation. That is, around a regular circuit with a mix of corners and straights. How Lap Times Were Obtained Accurately
The best lap time a vehicle can achieve around a circuit determines how good it is and therefore its place within this list.
Each vehicle was taken around the same circuit multiple times, with the best lap time being recorded. For most vehicles this equates to 10 laps per vehicle, but can often be more to ensure the absolute best lap time has been achieved with the vehicle. There are some caveats to this kind of testing though which are worth explaining below.

I recommend reading this for anyone who is confused, interested, or doubts the validity of the results in this video as it explains in great detail the extent to which these results will be useful for you personally, in addition to linking the track used for your own testing/comparison.*
So with that all being said, my vehicle testing should be taken as a guideline. The testing is very accurate for this track and similar tracks when cars are driven close to the maximum without any extra refinements. At the very least you should be able to use this testing to help narrow your field of view for your own personal testing. I would always recommend testing a variety of cars yourself and take into account what kind of tracks you're racing on, what is better for you and your skill level, and even your budget. My testing is meant to guide you, not tell you exactly what to use in every situation.

It's yet another car from RS that has no place and no purpose and that adds zero value. At best it's an uber expensive garage filler, and there's too many of those in the game already.

Imagine if they added a Stirling SM based on the regular SLR McLaren, even though the Stirling GT was originally called the Feltzer Classic before release.

The Reason I bought the car is it's based off the McLaren Mercedes SLR Stirling which I've always loved that car since Test Drive Unlimited 2

I literally have a poster of the irl version of this car on my wall I never thought we'd see this in gta. Next up we need an lfa
they need to split the sports classes in tiers so you can race older sports cars with each other and be categorized by performance. like have a A B and C tier and cars can only race in there tiers.

@@tommybarnes1997 My point was from the reference of a old viewer who is returning. I hadn't watched his videos in a few months, and I came back and was confused because it appeared that he had discontinued the top speed testing. I do understand watching the whole video would have got me there eventually, and I knew that/thought that when I initially watched it and learned about the new format, but my suggestion would still be beneficial. Don't know why you gotta be so passive aggressive buddy but have a good day :) Edit ; It's funny you say that cause I do watch the entire video! Even the ending part where there is nothing, just to give Broughy more watch through rate :)
I wish it handled better and had just a tiny bit more speed but this car it's extremely detailed

I can't believe they've done the SM722 (Lambo killer in real life) so badly... It Should've been much higher in regards to top speed and handling ability, IRL it produces 650hp (MB are usually shy with their power figures) and a top speed of 217mph... They've done the SLR an injustice IMHO, Would love to see Project Homecoming guys make the SM722 perform more like it's Real life hyper car performance
thinking cars in GTA will perform like their IRL counterparts is your first mistake since that has never been the case in GTA5
same for PH--just cuz the car does 217mph in real life doesn't mean it'll do 217 in PH, all down to the handling guys to see which pace class to balance it for
Wow the speed of the testing video release is pretty fast!
I used to give at least an hour to every dripfed car even when super busy but now I just don't feel like it because the best car from this DLC is not even accessible to me. PC players made this game what it is today and endured so much pain from modders and it sucks to be left behind like this.

Kinda sucks to hear how it performs, not that it makes it a bad car, but the legacy of the real car would make you think they’d make it faster, especially with the Stirling GT being known as a top tier car for racing multiple times now.

GTA needs a vehicle ranking system similar to Forza. Keep the current classes, but allow us to restrict races off of ranking and/or class.
That becomes pretty useless when nearly everything caps at 120...
Would make racing have a point to it if you could actually race different tiers of vehicles. I’ve got a garage or 2 for every class, from purchases, podium wins & every eligible steal-able car from the street. Which was fun to collect but there’s only like 5 out of the hundred that matter.

Honestly the attention to detail Is amazing on this car regardless. Did a race with it on a public lobby on scenic route and won racing 8 other ppl
Gonna buy it regardless for its real life counterpart, for racing still gonna be the good old Pariah/Issi Sport(Itali GTO overrated, there, I said it, even tho I own one for completion's sake)
EDIT: Also, does this need the lowest suspension for maximum grip aswell? I remember you said something along the lines of all cars of this DLC needing lowest suspension on a video, can't remember which video tho, also can't remember if it was ALL OF THEM or the day 1 released cars
EDIT2: All cars except for the Brioso and Sentinel Classic Widebodies, dang it, I hate low suspensions
I feel like the Sports class should be split into two new categories, "Sports" and "Sub-Sports".
Perhaps a Super-Sports, Sports, and Sub-Sports if necessarily.

Bogg Standard, not my favourite to drive as my lap times were frustrated by the lack of grip, would rather put low grips on the Jester Classic for powerslide fun. Its one for enthusiasts.

I bought it for my Merc collection (it replaced the yawn-worthy GLS ... forget its GTA name ... I only bought it as the tenth car). I really like how it drives and didn't realise it wasn't competitive. They've done a good job on the customisation in that you can put the exhausts into the front wing vents and a few other things to get close to the SLR Mclaren Stirling Moss - yes, I went stock wheels, silver paint and red interior ...

I did the same Thing. My Mercedes Garage is in the Eclipse Tower and I got rid of the Serrano and replaced it with the SLR and put next to Stirling GT. Shame that the Dubsta 2 is easily available for everyone now at Simeons Auto Shop but hey after so many Years it's like whatever.

Probably the best drifter. I don't know of any car that drifts corners and easily brings itself out of it. But it needs a windshield so it doesn't look God ugly anymore

Honestly I don't really think anyone's gonna be racing it. I think they're buying it based on looks and mainly the real life version. They only made 75 of these car in 2005 its a rare car and iconic nonetheless.

the only things _not_ coming to PC at the moment is the HSW upgrades, everything else (like all the new cars that are dripfeed) will come to PC
that's how Project Homecoming can access them, they're in the PC game files

10f is fast but bugged, if R* ever fix spoiler bug (wich i highly doubt) it could be a top contender, if the handling isnt garbage like it is on most recent cars.
A High Price for a Vehicle in Gta doesn't mean it has to be good in Performance. Price can be that High for beeing a Concept, Vehicle produced in rare Numbers, Special Abilities and off course the Inflation in the Game. On some Cars I totally agree that the Price is nonsense: Club, Lynx, E-Tron SUV etc.
