This series aims to show the best vehicles to use in GTA Online in a racing situation. That is, around a regular circuit with a mix of corners and straights. The word "Fastest" means nothing without some context - these are the fastest vehicles around a circuit. How Lap Times Were Obtained Accurately
The best lap time a vehicle can achieve around a circuit determines how good it is and therefore its place within this list.
Each vehicle was taken around the same circuit multiple times, with the best lap time being recorded. For most vehicles this equates to 10 laps per vehicle, but can often be more to ensure the absolute best lap time has been achieved with the vehicle. There are some caveats to this kind of testing though which are worth explaining below.

I recommend reading this for anyone who is confused, interested, or doubts the validity of the results in this video as it explains in great detail the extent to which these results will be useful for you personally, in addition to linking the track used for your own testing/comparison.*
So with that all being said, my vehicle testing should be taken as a guideline. The testing is very accurate for this track and similar tracks when cars are driven close to the maximum without any extra refinements. At the very least you should be able to use this testing to help narrow your field of view for your own personal testing. I would always recommend testing a variety of cars yourself and take into account what kind of tracks you're racing on, what is better for you and your skill level, and even your budget. My testing is meant to guide you, not tell you exactly what to use in every situation.

I love the Powersurge. One of my favorite bikes. Honestly suprise you think it's a bad driving experience. It's actually awesome! May not for racing but great for off-roading and doing stunts.
Honestly tho, I bought the Powersurge the day it came out and it’s one of my favorite bikes in the game. I wouldn’t dare use it for races because of the handling, but it’s still a fun bike once you get used to it. Of course, I used to be in the MC community so I’m arguably more proficient with bikes than cars lmao
It rides beautifully. I highly recommend it!
I haven't spent much times on bikes, but the first thing I did on the Powersurge is lose control, because it launched out from under me, into the water. $20k later *Worth It!* the second thing I did was launch it into the fork of a small tree (trust me, I really regret not taking a screen shot)
It is absolutely amazing, and it accelerates like nothing else I've used, and I am sold.
The Powersurge is insanely fun to ride. It's one of the best bikes in the game, as far as I'm concerned. The EV motor sound is a bonus to me, as I don't have to listen to engine sound all the time.

That Issi Rally sure looks to be a quintessential Rockstar vehicle.
That powersurge lap was a disaster! Even on your best lap. That bike looks like a handful...
The powersurge is faster than I expected it to be tbh. The issi rally is about where I expected it to be, the traction is just terrible. Didn't know it had an HSW mod until just now though.
Brakes are really bad too. Max upgrades and it's still awful.
The cars mostly being lackluster, the dripfeed being so slow, not getting any new garage spaces yet is making this dlc one of the worst.
I blame Rockstar for thinking the worst choices.
The lack of time and budget is showing, GTA 6 is probably well on it's way to release, and GTA 5 is supported by a skeleton crew until that happens, thus slow drip-feed, unambitious updates with 90% recycled content etc.
R* are only keeping this available until the 1st of February as well.
Guarantee they’re testing this concept out for GTA VI’s online, bring out a expensive vehicle for a limited time and get money from casuals panic buying shark cards to get it. 😒
I actually like this idea, as long as the car is purchaseble with in game currency and the car itself makes sense being rare, like a bugatti or a classic european sportscar. Everyone is rich in gta nowadays.

These limited time cars are definitely just Take Two trying a new strategy of selling micro transactions. Make a car only available for a limited time so some casual players might FOMO in and purchase a shark card so they can afford the car before it’s taken out of the game. Really concerned with how GTA 6 will turn out. Have a bad feeling the online will be a complete microtransaction fest with how Take Two has been treating its games (ex: NBA 2K being pay to win).
If Rockstar wants to get really nasty they could treat the cars like the limited clothing in RDR Online. Some of the pieces haven't been in stock for over a year now 👎

Was waiting for you to tackle the Powersurge and with that let's go. I stated on your lil vacation vid that this bike would be a contender with the right rider. The motorcycle seems to actually perform better in the snow though as wheelies are much easier to hold at top speed and you can get up to 156 mph, without it's about 152 if you can get it right. Leaning forward I could easily maintain the 141 mph with snow and without about 130-135. I think the motorcycle has a weird center mass code which makes the suspension seems stiff kinda like the Barrage LTV but overall a fun motorcycle to ride. On a side note though,the Reever on stunt tracks can reach 180 mph,the Manchez Scout C like it's military cousin does around 140 + mph with a wheelie also. Another reason(imo) they added the M.S.C. is that the military version has a floating swing arm and rear disc brake when perform a wheelie. I prefer a 4 door Issi so I'm good it and I'm a getaway driver kinda of guy so the racing aspect whilst I understand the disappointment,GTA IS NOT MIDNIGHT CLUB OR A RACING GAME AT ITS CORE and a good portion of players are not racers or even good drivers for the most part and R* knows this all to well.

hello, can u make tests with Brickade 6x6 and Manchez Scout C? according to gtacars website these vehicles have different dimensions and handling stats, so its interesting how they affects their performance in comparison to original vehicles
The 6x6 is just a regular brickade that has access to performance upgrades, so it will be a few seconds and a few mph quicker than the standard version. The manchez might indeed be a little different performance wise, but I can’t test either at the moment since they can’t be accessed in races. It will happen eventually I’m sure
Personally, I would swap the Rally's name with the Sport. The Rally seems more befitting for the race/rally-spec Issi Sport.
I know I’m in the slim minority but I love vehicles that are fast but are a pain to drive. Like the Itali GTO pre fix
Exactly. Most fast vehicles should be tricky to drive, provided that they aren't so in an unrealistic way.

I bought it on release and i actually enjoyed it a lot. So much that it was the vehicle i bought to travel around the map when i can't use my sparrow. I love this bike.
Edit: i also use this to complete all time trials since i got it

can you retest the top 3 bikes for lap time? (top 3 should be enough) you probably noticed that bikes now leave skidmarks in the turns, which probably indicates a game-wide change to bike physics where they seem to grip better now.
They always left these marks at least from my memory
@@marciliojunior4919 I am pretty sure they're new. Something has happened to bikes but I dont see much difference in handling
I did actually re-test the Hakuchou Drag (both HSW and non-HSW) which is why the HSW version is a couple tenths quicker and into the 52s in this video. The non-HSW version though got approximately the same lap time as before (went about a tenth quicker).

Please, if you could, put out a PSA on the PC version that it is still not recommended to play as your computer is vulnerable to hackers from the new exploits and remote code execution is still possible and this can be done from remote and NOT in the session. Even if you play in an invite only or solo lobby you are still vulnerable to attack. Rockstar has begrudgingly posted about it. I'm sure their legal team forced them to and who knows when we will get a fix. Just let players know who may not know about it and want to play after seeing your video and wanting to log in that their account is in danger of getting banned (most modders are now sitting afk in lobbies with the script running on autopilot) and their computer getting compromised. This is a very serious situation.
You are vastly overstating the risks, and this whole thing has gotten so much attention you would have to have been living under a rock to not hear about it
@@Johnny362000 No im not. I have encountered hackers in my lobbies before. They are SAVAGE. I got into a hacker fight with a few of them and it came to DDoS blows and I stopped because the feds dont like that sh*t. This new mod menu gives them the ability to sit afk in a lobby and run scripts REMOTELY. You don't even have to be in the lobby. They only had to record your account if you came into any lobby they have been in at any point in time. The only other tool that a few guys developed to counter this bs was taken down because if you mess up installing it you can feel protected but still become compromised AND YES! they can execute RCE even though some morons say they can't. I just wish the hackers would go full tilt and go after some social club accounts and steal some CCs. Maybe then Rockstar will FINALLY get sued. Not blowing it out of proportion you just don't understand how serious the situation is. I'm currently only playing on FiveM but still its kinda annoying that I could lose my old account. Not a peep out of Rockstar yet. I don't have high hopes for this to be resolved.

Modern WRC cars have no relation to the production cars they look like. Nobody is going to call a Citroen C4 or a Skoda Fabia a rally car

I’d say out of about 15-20 laps, 5-6 were without issue for the full lap.

iirc they require some sort of PC magic to test and are not normally raceable so not a priority at the moment, especially given the issues on PC right now

I'm so happy that we now have a fast-accelerating "proper" bike that acts more like a bati. Not a fan of the drag bikes that, IMO, don't require a lot of skill to tame and master.

On my map, which I use for testing, Powersurge is about 1 second better than Hak. Drag, around 1:47ish and 1:48ish, maybe 2 sec better possible. Parts of my map layout are inspired by Cutting Coroners and is AFAIK my best balanced map. I used mostly lean forward. FPS was 158ish. On PC, no console master race, which uses HSW.
In my testing the Powersurge is around 2 seconds per lap quicker than the regular Hakuchou Drag. The reason it's only a second for you is probably because you're only leaning forward with the Powersurge. It's only the HSW form of the Drag that's quicker (significantly so).

@@broughy1322, on my another Map called "Deutschland 2" there was bigger difference for me. Powersurge 2:23ish and Hak. Drag 2:27ish. This map have hills roads at vineyard area, 2 downhill straights and parts from highway and Route 68, there can be better used wheelie.
@@broughy1322, quick retest on map 1, 1:43:1xx and 1:43:8xx, lean forward a bit better than lean forward with mixing wheelie. Driving with bumpy wheelies feel less smoother for me. Maybe my higher fps and map layout have effect here. Straights are not very long, because fast corners between, where wheelies aren't usable. And maybe with more practice Hak. Drag can make 1:46ish.

I wish they'd enable HSW for PC, they put the files in last April, but still refuse to activate it.
the files on PC are just placeholders, the actual functionalities aren't there
@@DiNmiTe well the actual functionality is kinda there. It's weird. It seems to work fully in FiveM which suggests to me there's some sort of online check like new style downforce

I find it funny how little any of this ever matters for a pratice, since gta is not a raing game it's still easy to win in "bad" cars lol. I think some people take this as gospel and don't try things for themselves.
Your statement can be applied to almost any racing game ever, or even real life. If car A is faster than car B then that doesn't mean you can't beat car A in car B, just that car A has an advantage. GTA not being a racing game has no effect on this and I'd love to know why you think it does
@@Johnny362000 It 100% does have an effect, since you know it's not built around racing like a dedicated racing game so you still have all the quirks that come with the rest of the game.
Point is GTA does not = Forza/GT, if you really think the type of game the racing is done in has no effect then you have no idea how games work.

It applies to GTA, it applies to NFS, it applies to TXR, it applies to Forza, it applies to GT, it applies to rFactor, it applies to iRacing, it applies to _real life_
GTA has quirks but so do many dedicated racing games (some have quirks far more outrageous, even)

So the Issi is a complete waste of money?
Not entirely. If you just want a fast and decently consistent 4 seater, the Issi Rally is a definite competitor. I personally play online to just help people with heists, so doing those missions I just want to get there fast, and I don't ever need the protection of the Nightshark or Kuruma.
On old gen it is a complete waste of money
If you have the Astron Custom? Absolutely. The AC handles better, and is a little more responsive in the turning and braking than the Issi Rally.

No HSW vehicles on PC is quite aggravating. But I felt this bike had quite the potential, I wasn't wrong. Too bad I won't dare to login AND SPEND MY MONEY ON SHARKCARDS (wink) to buy more vehicles because of the recent corruption glitches.
