I have a false color LUT loaded for the vlog view assist with a function button assigned to turn it on and off. Another function button is assigned for the LUT selection, so I can easily switch between 709 and false color.
solid advice on all the major settings. One I need to add is to programme one of custom buttons to change from standard picture profile to v-log and back when needed. That makes it 100 times easier to shoot photos and to switch v-log off without going through the menus each time
I hate taking photos on v-log because I shoot raw and photos comes like 4 stops underexposed. I wish photo and video mode had different picture profiles.
I booked the camera 5 months back. Finally will get my piece this Saturday. Hope I took the correct decision. I am literally spending years of savings on this one.
It's refreshing to hear that the "record when you're not actually recording" doesn't only happen to little old me. I dived into the menu the minute I got my S5IIX and added the red bars.
Funny how I LITERALLY just release a video in Spanish about my settings with the GH6, and it was almost exactly what you showed, we shoot similarly with our Lumix cameras 👌🏻 awesome video buddy !
Excellent video, thanks. Subscribed. I think I'll be switching systems very soon and my current favourite contender is the S5IIX. If I go down the Lumix path, one thing I have to decide to begin with is whether to buy it as a kit (with the 20-60 and 50 f1.8) or just the body and shell out for the Sigma 24-70 f2.8 Art. My question to you is: with a zoom lens with a constant aperture, does the Lumix change exposure ever so slightly or absolutely not at all? This is the problem I had with my Fujifilm - and there is no way around it - if you zoom across the entire range (again, on a fixed aperture lens), it will brighten/darken the image ever so slightly - the reason why this happens (as someone expertly demonstrated here on YT) is because of in-camera lens corrections. It'd be great to know that this does not happen with the Lumix.
Question ? Do you think this camera pairs well with the Komodo x , or should I get 2 of these and wait for the s1h2 ? I love lumix , but the red for some reason has been calling me
Many ppl complain this camera doesnt have olpf filter can cause moire on and off. Have you encountered it? Is there a way around it if you dont want to use promist filters? Pls guide
What is your hidden gem setting for the Lumix cameras?

if only you had told me that like a day earlier, I would have included it hahaha

@@daniellrodriguezs this trick seems to work. I actually mapped it to real time LUT to add my pwn flavor to the image. but yes v log pictures suck!
Shouldn't use vlog for photos. Lumix themselves have said it's not meant for photos.
I just stick with Natural profile for photos.

That's awesome! I actually got to shoot with a gh6 a week or so ago... it's an impressive camera for sure!
thanks for support as always bro!
@@Ansonandco nice, are you releasing a video?
my pleasure brother !
@@AndyLSB I am at some point, but I have it on loan from Lumix for a lens review primarily
Great video man, you are right about turning on the red record marker, you have no idea how many shots I missed thinking i was recording
It’s funny, I think I had like 4 clips at this concert that I was actually recording when I thought I stopped rolling
Great work my guy .
Thanks!
4:00 when you think you are recording and then find out you didn’t is a different type of pain 😂
Yes it is! Lol
Thanks for this valuable information. I'd be interested in hearing more about your choices regarding format.
This Product B Roll always HAS me
Thanks dude! Means a lot ✌🏻

Was the intro sequence shot on a 44M-2?
It was not! There is a filter that mimics the swirly bokeh of the Helios lenses
I see you shot slowmo for a lot of that Broll. What are your settings for that? I'm guessing the crop isn't a dealbreaker for you?
I use ALL-I C4k 60 for the most part. and not at all. it used to but I really don't notice
Thank you so much, brother! Super helpful.
Absolutely! Glad it could help!
Complimenti, soprattutto per l ultimo consiglio, a volte le persone non capiscono la “potenza” di un semplice grazie detto
Your film lead is really cool. May i ask where you got your Film leaders?

I have not used the Komodo cameras but I have a buddy that has both. Hit up @macolink on IG, he may be able to give you some insight
You turn the focus leaking and level meter on and off, does it consume more battery power if you leave them on?
Can you please share the LUT that you use?
Could you please share what lens was used for the recoding? Ty!
For the concert it would have been the SIGMA 24-70mm f2.8 and for the UA-cam stuff it is the SIGMA cine primes
@@Ansonandco ty!

So why the shutter in degrees? What’s the benefit?
Awesome vid bro super helpful. Thank you - SUBBED.
Hello, can this camera do 6K open gate in 4.2.2. All Intra?
Long GOP 420 only
can you do a video on how long it will take to fill up 1TB SSD with the different recording formats.
Are you using 600 or 800 mbps 4k all intra? Are you recording to external SSD? Is it a rig set up ?
Not a rig and most of the time it is the 600 mbps cause I prefer recording to a v90 sd card
@@Ansonandco excellent many thanks that’s gotta be absolutely sick image right??
@@swashyhimself I absolutely love it!
Where is the level tool???
I was just looking for it last night hahaha it’s on the settings menu. Under the 2nd or 3rd display tab
shooting in 422 all intra is heavy on your pc,even with best prosessor and ram it can be lagy
What would be a good alternative?
