  • This video explains the intrigues of the last day of General Sani Abacha on earth (his last 24 hours) In the early morning hours of June 8, 1998, General Sani Abacha, Nigeria’s military dictator, died in the presidential villa in Abuja.
The sudden death of the Kano-born tyrant cast a dark shadow on the political future of the country, but sparked wide spread jubilation across the country.
He was buried on the same day, according to Islamic practice, without a formal autopsy.
This conduct has resulted in several hypotheses as to what may have caused General Sani Abacha's death.
Some claim he was killed by poisoned apple while in company of sex workers, while others believe he was assassinated (or poisoned) by his political opponents.

I don't know all the events of June 8th 1998, but IMO, Major Al-Mustapha (rtd.) displayed professionalism, patriotism, courage and selflessness to handle things the way he did that day. He could have decided to seize power, execute all his seniors in the army and thereby, lead the country into very serious chaos. I thank him.
I may be wrong, but could it be that Abacha suffured some degree of radiation poisioning via a handshake with one of the members of Yasser Arafat's entourage?

The lawlessness at the time was appalling. I noticed in 1995 at the Ikeja airport. The evidence could be seen at the airport that one had to go thru 19 checkpoints before getting on the plane . Every point a bribe was needed to go through. I paid up a few until I ran out of cash and started telling those officials I had already paid and was out of cash. This could only happen where there is no law.

One death news that the memory of how it was celebrated in my street even as a child never left me. At that point, i knew that the man is already in HELL cos i lost my grandma the previous year and saw how everyone was shedding tears and being consoled that she made heaven only for Abacha to die and everyone celebrated as if a new baby was born. At that point, even as a child, i knew that if people's tears for the dead could equate Heaven, then people's joy in another death could translate to HELL. Nothing anybody wan tell me, the man dey HELL

In my street many of us who were ardent international politics followers cried like babies. I was sure we were going back to slavery with his death and that real enemies of the country would take over. Twice I have predicted doom for Nigeria twice it happened. When Abacha died I told people that it will take us at least 20 years to earn the respect a Nigerian passport holder had under Abacha or bring back sanity that he tried to instilled into our society. The moment he died we lost Bakasi peninsula, Free medical treatment stopped. PTF fund ended. Terrorist thrived and Nigerian passport become useless. The second time I made similar prediction was in 2015 election. I told people that a vote to Buhari was a vote to 20 years backwardness. The rest is history.

Well, on the question of the type of injection, we can only know that if the doctor had spoken. But, ethically he can't speak on that, I suppose.
I personally changed my view of Al Mustapha after researching and making this video. He did well on this day.
But based on the research I'm currently working on, particularly about Jerry Useni, and how the people in power betrayed him as the most senior officer after Abacha. According to him, he was betrayed because he is a Christian!

I don't think this Almustapha's accounts is genuine, he denied it on several occations. How could they allow Arafat's security to shake hands with C in C?
Al-Mustapha's full accounts on how Abacha die is still available on internet especially his Oputa Panel's testimonies where he elaborates on June 8, 1998 events.

    • @HispleMedia
      @HispleMedia  5 місяців тому +2

Us the oputa panel testimony different from this account? I don't think so. What Mustapha has continued to deny is the misinformation that the c in c died in company of sex workers.
But, I think Jerry Useni should have been questioned... He was supposed to say what he knows. I don't know if he has written a book or something.
However, this account has been highly publicised and other info about the event is given Ogbonnaya Orji who was a state house reporter.
It is however curious why Arafat security guard would be allowed to shake hands with the c in c.
