Captain Thomas Isidore Sankara was killed by Compaore his best friend in the revolution. They both shared common ideals and were together all the time. Compaore now in exile in Cote d ivoire was used by the French and Houphouet Boigny because of his anti imperialism. His truth outspoken attitude led Houphouet Boigny to not like. Alina Traoré the only survivor is a childhood friend in Cote d ivoire. We ate together, we went to school together and we played. Six years ago while on holiday in Cote d ivoire we happened to meet by coincidence and we had a long talk. Yes Compaore killed Sankara.

😭😭 this incident would always cause pain. It is something that should never have happened. It's a very painful incident. Everyone knows that Thomas Sankara did not deserve to die. What's most irritating is that it was at the behest of certain Western interests who had him eliminated because of course they wanted to keep milking their 'precious cow' of it's natural resources. Indeed this is one of the occurrences which makes me wish in that moment that the judgement of God were swift. As for that Blaise Compraore, who went on to stay for donkey years as a puppet and the other one who also fled, let them also run to hell to escape the judgement of the almighty for murdering not just Thomas and those officers but the whole of Burkinafaso whose progress they impeded by allowing themselves be used against a great man that only sought to make life better for his people. 🙏
