*Personally I find a lot of similarities between the houses of Floris & Penhaligon’s. Both British houses, their blends and type of perfumery are very similar. They both have that “luxury soap” backbone dna vibe. But this juice, Honey Oud is a big problem! Glad you did a vid on it but hopefully it doesn’t become hyped.*
*Also, you’ve put a serious serious dent in that bottle 😂. I’ve owned mine since 2018 and I haven’t even used that much! Put a lil molecule 02 on (ambroxan) then give this one 6-7 sprays. Let the magic happen*

It’s a real hidden gem
Just got a 10ml to try and wanted to hear some reactions, and yours is one of the few. When you said what celebrity I instantly thought Idris! Complex, subtle, quality, not young, but not old. It’s a high quality frag that is definitely unisex but the oud imparts a masculinity to offset that sweet honey. Dope review, imma sub.

Honey Oud is so underrated! Definitely one of my favourites. Wish it was a little stronger but its still great.

Royal Oud Creed and Honey Oud Floris are on the same level for men. As you sad: elegant, not offensive, not typical Oud fragrance, gentle, comforting. I Like a lot!!!

Another great honey & oud frag is oud delice by Robert Piguet. Very inoffensive oud note and it's supposed to be unisex but you either get more honey or more oud depending on skin chemistry. Performance is decent as well

Floris London is one of my all-time favorite fragrance houses. been rockin No.89, Elite, JF, Santal and Cefiro for over 20 years now. I think I currently have about 14 or 15 50-100ml bottles in my rotation. I was gifted the Perfumers Collection over the holidays that contained 10 10ml bottles, including Honey Oud... idk if it just wasn't mixed well... but I unfortunately wasn't a fan 😢 tbh it gave me nursing/retirement home old lady vibes. to my nose, it felt like Leather Oud was the masculine version, and Honey Oud was its feminine counterpart. it felt grandma-ish to me. love love love this house though and can't recommend Floris London enough. just wasn't a fan of Honey Oud at alllll.

Not yet unfortunately. I’d say get the one with the best performance and price first 🤝
