Plz do a review on Floris Cefiro.... I would love to hear what u have to say about it ... I love it ... Very soothing and a timeless scent ... Longevity on my skin is good 6 to 7 hrs depending on the temperature..
I have Floris Santal, a pretty good approximation of the discontinued Gucci Envy for Men. But veers just a little greener.
The Floris shop in Jermyn Street really is a gem because it has not been over-modernised. So many shops have been ruined by revamps, the worst example probably being Asprey's which was an act of vandalism.
The display cabinets are from the Great Exhibition at Crystal Palace.
At first I thought you meant we are picking a fragrance with HM The Queen!

The cost for a fully bespoke fragrance from Floris was a lot more affordable than expected. Especially it's a multi-month process, and you get 6 bottles at the end of it that can be ordered at any time. If you are really into fragrances and have 5,000 pounds to spend, this is a great purchase.

I bought a number of samples from Floris on the back of your recommendation last year, Kirby. Landed on 'Honey Oud' which I particularly enjoy.
I enjoyed this video. Coincidently enough, I went there a a couple of weeks ago ( and to Crocket&Jones too to pick up my new Merton loafers). What a fantastic shop they have. My mother has always told me that perfumes are a luxury enjoyed by others :-)

Elite is my favorite of many that I have. Released in 1980, it's like tha smooth Creed Bois du Portugal with a little bit of understated Ralph Lauren Polo Green thrown in.

My go to fragrance is Aventus by Creed or their Viking fragrance which is a beautiful scent with a warm cinnamon base. I hope to take a trip to Floris and if I’m lucky enough, to create a bespoke fragrance
Ive chosen Chypress and Bergamotto to try,the travel sizes. Cant wait for them to arrive. Strangely gone off Chanel,not sure why.

71/72 and Jermyn Street are my two daily go to fragrances. For special occasions I keep a bottle of 1927 and Elite on hand.

Honey Oud and Neroli Voyage are fantastic scents. Leather Oud is one of my favorites in the winter!
@@trevorhageman12 that got me excited. I placed an order not too long ago from their website. I order a out a dozen samples..some for me and some for the misses.
@@MauricXe that's honestly the best way to explore their collection. I feel that I should add that the Ouds are very strong. I typically use one spritz on the wrist and dab that on the neck/ cheek and opposite wrist. That could just be me, though. I tend to be very sensitive to certain fragrances.

Fragrances are pretty much not allowed at 90% of the places I go. So I never had an interest in learning about it. But this guest was definitely so underrated! Please get an in-person interview when it's safe. I found it to be particularly invigorating! I'm really curious to see the "bespoke fragrances" being made.

90% of the "places you go"? If someone denied me entry into a place because I was wearing a fragrance, I would gladly avoid them like the plague for the rest of my life. I heard an English perfumer once say that there was a U.K. based EU bureaucrat who advocated the complete banning of the perfumery industry. That bureaucrat should be barred from not only public service, but from anything, anywhere having to do with the wielding of any influence over any other human being.
One thing I would say is stay away from Elite; doesn’t last long at all, a few minutes on my skin actually

@@corkboy4523 I think most people will say that the Queen has earned her privilege and respect. There are different ways of earning. But I think your comments are really more about a distaste for deference, and this is probably a cultural difference.
It’s ironic that You buy your favorite fragrance but others will smell it and you won’t be able enjoy it after wearing it for some time. 😅
