Its cool how you know your notes and can break them down.. I was never able to do that, I have no clue wtf murr smells like or labdninum etc. I don't even know how to spell it lol. Great review, sounds like something different, at least for me. A real oud that is OUD that you can smell that is very wearable was the atelier oud fragrance I tried.. Very impressive and there was no hiding the oud at all.. But it was done smooth enough you could even wear in the summer.. I think it was called something emarald agar.. I forget. Great review
I recently purchased Floris Honey Oud and it is perfect on cool days and cold nights out. The sweetness and subtly of the blending makes this a very wearable scent that does not offend or over-power those around you. My concern with alternatives, such as Montale Honey Aoud, is that it can lean toward being a bit shouty and has to be used carefully when you know you are going to be mixing in a crowd.
After Smelling this at Scentz and getting a gift sample of it, I wore it and got a few unsolicited compliments. I broke down and bought a bottle this amazing juice.. That's is not heavy at all, it could be worn daily as a work scent as well as dressed up. Great Job as always.
This is the only fragrance from floris that I truly love... I have smelled many of them and this is the only love... I liked 4 more. The powdery scent you are talking about I don't actually get on my skin as much. Always great videos

Im late to comment here - Found Floris a while ago and love their Honey Oud (and their Santal)- Wonder if youve ever put Honey Oud up against Penhaligan's Cairo which to me has a similar feel.
Of course you can, there are no rules - be bold! Too many references to seasonality with perfume reviews. Signature scents can be worn every day all year long in my humble opinion. It's subjective - who cares? If you like it, wear it.

But the strength of that fragrance is kind of lacking. Do you know any other fragrance that has similar vibe or just great honey base fragrance that is sweet, airy but not cloying? Thanks!!!
Would this be unisex enough for a woman to wear? I love honey scents, and I like that this one is powdery as you mentioned and resinous too. Can you recommend other honey scents that are not floral?

Newbie to fragrances -- Why can one not wear the Honey Oud in summer/warm weather?

I totally think it's unisex. Another honey scent I would recommend is Back to Black by Kilian and Honey Aoud buy Montale.
