@@QuestioningScents I received my bottle today. I immediately sprayed it on as my scent of the day and it’s really really lovely. I also sprayed some on my arm and I can’t stop sniffing it. Constantly drawn to it. You can sense the quality of the juice and blending. Superb. I can’t believe this one is so slept on. I appreciate the tip! Do you have any idea if there is real oud in this or if it’s synthetic? It doesn’t matter really because it’s a fantastic scent and I’m so happy I got it. Cheers!

Sounds like a very fine one mate 🙂 leather is very hit and miss, I wouldn't even say I like a particular type of leather. Just either like them or don't. But it sounds very fine. I'd recommend you defo get your nose on Royal Leather from that posh French house I maybe have once mentioned 😉 a nice rugged leather
This one sounds lovely , I'll have to check it out. I adore leather and oud as a combination , especially diors leather oud but my fiancée's doesn't like it on me to say the least 🤣 Maybe like you , It will be tolerated in my house.

It’s a great way for us hoarder types cull and feel less guilty lol.loving your breakdown and admiration for this Floris but I’ve got Oud by Aqua de Palma are they at all similar cheers buddy be safe peace out ✌️
I can see why people think they are similar but to me they are quite different. This one has not got that floraly citrus blend that the ADP has and to me the Floris is a heavier fragrance. I do really like the ADP though.

Hi Matt, nice story. I served in Menorca (then we had the draft), beautiful place. For a not so subtle leather/oud, have you tried Lattafa's Oud Mood Exlixir? Not the regular Oud Mood, but the Elixir flanker. Very curious now to try the Floris, thanks!
@@troecurov3 I've not tried Leather Oud yet, Floris is not very common in shops around me. Regular Oud Mood is sweeter, almost gourmand, not very similar to typical rose+oud combos.
@@troecurov3 Eventually I tried Floris Leather Oud on paper. And no, Oud Mood Elixir is in no way better. The Floris is deeper and more beautiful to my nose. The Lattafa is a screamer with very notorious spices and great performance though, so it's still has its place.
Floris Leather Oud kinda reminds me of Montale's Black Oud. I have Floris's Leather Oud . I believe it's a tester . I have Floris's Men's Collection also. Couple huge winners there for me.
Interesting. I have only tried itnin store and not spent that much Time with it. It reminded me a lot of Halfeti so wasn't that interested in it as I have Chopard Oud Malaki and don't need another perfume in that world
Thank you for this review, I just got a sampler and am liking it. I have a question I hope you might answer, since I've just discovered the world of scents: since you mentioned having so many, how do you keep your scents from going bad? Is that at all an issue? I'm worried even with my samples that they might have sat on the shelve for too long and arrive at my doorstep already rather muted/ aged. Any words of wisdom on this subject?
I think the subject of Scents going bad is greatly exaggerated in all honesty. Just keep them out of direct sunlight and preferably in their box and they will be fine. I have a lot of perfumes and have never had a problem. Try to keep them in a constant temperature I.e don't let the temp fluctuat in the area you keep them and don't store them in the bathroom or near your shower and you will be fine buddy
This is by far the finest most wonderful scent, everything else in comparison is mundane, I love Floris Leather Oud
