I have lived in the US for 15 years and my english is still super horrible. I moved from France, and I have such a strong accent (even after 15 years) that people who aren’t used to me, have difficulty understanding what I say. That’s why I hated public speaking in College.
A lot of people remember the little things like that. When I was with my ex, she was surprised that I always remembered exactly what food she ordered at the restaurant the first time we met. You just kind of remember the details of the moment you met someone you fell in love with. (Of course, after we broke up, all those details just flew right out of my head, and I couldn't tell you any of them anymore XD )

This was such a neat story and reminds me so much of the way I fell in love with my wife. I met her at a church picnic while I was in the US Navy stationed in her home town for training . Once I was introduced to her I couldn't eat, sleep, or think until I asked her out, and even then I had trouble concentrating about anything. I had NEVER felt that way about anyone EVER. This was such a neat story and reminds me so much of the way I fell in love with my wife. I met her at a church picnic while I was in the US Navy stationed in her home town for training . Once I was introduced to her I couldn't eat, sleep, or think until I asked her out, and even then I had trouble concentrating about anything. I had NEVER felt that way about anyone EVER. Fortunately she agreed to marry me and now its 38 years later!
