What Sam said, about how people started treating him better when he lost weight, is so true. This has happened to me even with family members and it’s kind of disturbing. Thanks for this conversation, very interesting.
I really thank every individual who made this film possible and successful. Brendan Fraser as Charlie is the best casting choice indeed. He is not only a great actor but also such a considerate and intelligent person. I'm glad to see OAC's involvement in the film and support for Brendan's work, which was awesome.
This movie made me think a lot about how obese people are treated in our society and the discrimination they face every where they go. I am glad the writer and actors contacted your organization as it made the movie very real and heartfelt.
Very much so! It's about time it's being spoken about and it was finally approached in an authentic/honest way with a pathological standpoint. From a healthcare view and from the societal view we must destigmatize it and move forward with empathy, knowledge and presenting helpful rather than hurtful solutions. The U.S. especially is suffering from a mental health crisis and this is a major untalked about aspect. Grateful this film may hopefully get the ball rolling on progress.
This is so beautiful. and something that really touches my hear is how Brendan looks at who ever its speaking, Its so sincere and I love it, so happy for his resurgence in Acting. I have said this in a lot of movies reviews, but I lost my mom 6 years ago and my Dad 2 years ago, my stepbrother attempted suicide in my old room after losing my father who was more of a father than his own father, my brother is 10 hours away living his best life and I am here surviving. Mental Struggles and a lot of bagage but well.. This movie hit me hard, I am alone in a room with only a dog, I over eat whenever I get money but if not, I eat half a tray of food at morning and one at night, I have a friend thats a nurse and she tries so hard to make my life a little happier but It just sucks. Thanks for this video.
I saw it one week ago and I still think about it. Never obese myself but used to utterly despise Brendan Fraser back in the day because he looked so good, he made me jealous 😄 .. now I adore the guy, his humility and humanity brings tears to my eyes.
...muttered words that could barely be perceived as Basque but was quickly struck by a lead vampire, herding the people like one would a head of cattle or flock of sheep. A🦇🍲
Been pretty hardcore on writing about coworkers in fiction style Meet Julian, another victim of a violent attack against Asians, learning to read, write and be a doctor again, so he can refuse treatment after he perpetrators are sent to his hospital after a car crash, ah
