So good to see him back on top. He seems very thoughtful, humble, and grateful for what he has. I think these years he’s been out of the celebrity loop have been very difficult for him, but they have also made him more self aware and painfully honest. I’m so glad he’s been recognized for “the Whale.”
As a SA and DV survivor, and as someone with PTSD from it, I totally understand him not wanting to go. Good for him for protecting himself and taking care of himself. It's really hard to do when there is pressure to participate in something that would activate triggers. You want to tell yourself that you're ok, that you are stronger than your PTSD, but you can't fight it. PTSD always wins. Your brain is only trying to protect you.
If only there was more people like him in the film industry. To this day it seems many did nothing to speak up or support their colleagues on that matter.
Of course they didn’t, they just care about making money and being put in films. look what happened with Harvey Weinstein. So many knew and none said a word because they risk their careers. Actors are some of the most self centred and selfish people you can find.
Brendan Fraser is too good for Hollywood and too good for this world. I appreciate his authenticity with all my heart. Wish him all the best and peace of mind.
I think if it's not calling, it's going to be him. Normally, whoever gets the Golden Globe get the Oscar. But I think that this year, there is some sort of idea that Austin can get the Golden Globe because he's young and new, whereas the Oscar will go to either, nor Brendan because of their tremendous body of work
@@cryforthemoonHe’s young and new in the sense of being in the mainstream. Before Elvis, he was only known to us millennials as a Nickelodeon/Disney Channel background actor. This is his breakthrough performance to the mainstream, so therefore he’s “new”.

I love him. I know he was absent for years I know he had his hardships and still does and his pain and his physical toll and all that. But the fact that he’s had his recent resurgence, his recent love and being well received by most everyone… All this talk of Brendan Fraser makes me think he never left. I know he took a break, I know he’s had it tough, but the fact he came back to this amazing reception and attitude it’s like when he was at his peak. And let’s be real. Everyone who has seen the The Whale and his performance know that… THIS is his peak. And his confidence to be out in the open with this. Sure he’s an action star, but now that he’s returned as well as being his truest self and coming out with his truth… I can’t wait to see more, but on HIS terms. Don’t overwork yourself Brendan! We love you and wanna keep seeing you!

You can still hear such uncertainty and anxiety in his voice. Poor guy is suffering from trauma and I really hope he can get back to a truly happy place.
This kind soul shines. Such a rare thing in people today. It gives me hope
So good to see him back on top. He seems very thoughtful, humble, and grateful for what he has. I think these years he’s been out of the celebrity loop have been very difficult for him, but they have also made him more self aware and painfully honest. I’m so glad he’s been recognized for “the Whale.”
Love this guy. He represents the faith in humanity. Some guy named John Wick is also a great representation of humility in Hollywood.
A humble and good man, but also a fantastic actor!
So brave, gentle and so powerful just by being himself.
This is the first time I've heard him talk as himself. I had no idea he was such a remarkably well spoken person.
He has earned more than my respect first as a human being and second as an actor. A human being with integrity in Hollywood, what a prize they have!!!
He should win Oscar. The Whale is the best motion picture in drama category this year in my opinion.
I think if it's not calling, it's going to be him. Normally, whoever gets the Golden Globe get the Oscar. But I think that this year, there is some sort of idea that Austin can get the Golden Globe because he's young and new, whereas the Oscar will go to either, nor Brendan because of their tremendous body of work
@@LindaC616 Austin is 31 years old and not new to acting at all. Started around 12. He just seems very young and like he came out of nowhere lol
@@cryforthemoon but as far as films are concerned, he's young and new. Plenty of road ahead for him
@@cryforthemoonHe’s young and new in the sense of being in the mainstream. Before Elvis, he was only known to us millennials as a Nickelodeon/Disney Channel background actor. This is his breakthrough performance to the mainstream, so therefore he’s “new”.
You don’t really realize how great of an actor he is until you see him interviews. He’s like a Depp in that he’s so reserved and thoughtful, whilst still being one of the most charismatic onscreen actors- it’s fascinating
He is such a humble man. We need more people like him
The complete embodiment of pure integrity.
This is a real man. This is a real strong man.
Brendan, I love your heart ♥
Count me among the legions thankful and grateful to have him back in the public eye. A man of his humility and kindness deserves the outpouring of love and support.
This man is pure class - humble - sweet - so intelligent and just lovely - a true wonderful human - well done sir - well done
I love seeing you battling the odds and coming a long way … my first crush ❤
This guy "Brendan Fraser" is a genuine human being the world needs more people like him, I grow watching his best performance in The Mummy film trilogy as a kid. Can't wait to see The Whale!.
I love this man…he was as much a breath of fresh air back then as he is now. He’s been a very integral part of me growing up and watching him onscreen and being happy and entertained. For him to emerge victorious after all the trials and tribulations he’s been through and retain his humanity and his humility is a victory of the human spirit.
He's such a real.human. I love Brandon and am so excited he's made this comeback. I love him. He deserves it.
So much respect for you, Brenden.
Such a sweet man and it is refreshing to see someone, not only in his business, who can be true to his word and not be an hypocrite. Well done.
Here to give my support Brendan Fraser. You are absolutely right in your explanation. We were waiting for your moment to come back and continue your journey in your career. God bless your beautiful heart.
Back in the day he used to be such a stud and one of my favorites. I'm happy to see that he speaks the truth and doesn't compromise with his values. Class act.
Stud?
@@ifyouonlyknew811 Yes stud. As in a handsome man, a heartthrob.
I love him. I know he was absent for years I know he had his hardships and still does and his pain and his physical toll and all that.
But the fact that he’s had his recent resurgence, his recent love and being well received by most everyone…
All this talk of Brendan Fraser makes me think he never left. I know he took a break, I know he’s had it tough, but the fact he came back to this amazing reception and attitude it’s like when he was at his peak.
And let’s be real. Everyone who has seen the The Whale and his performance know that… THIS is his peak.
And his confidence to be out in the open with this. Sure he’s an action star, but now that he’s returned as well as being his truest self and coming out with his truth…
I can’t wait to see more, but on HIS terms. Don’t overwork yourself Brendan! We love you and wanna keep seeing you!
He's been on Doom Patrol since 2018. He did Trust (story about the Getty fam) in 2014/15. He did No Sudden Moves w/Don Cheadle in 2018. He's never really left us.
A genuinely beautiful person. I respect and adore him. I hope he keeps on the healing journey and finds all the happiness. He deserves it
He's the best of us
All my respect to Mr. Fraser.
Love this man I love him so much. Thoughtful, intelligent, kind. Deserves everything.
Well Said Brendan and Well raised #Mother
Brendan you continue to be a graceful and caring human. And we continue to support, love and respect you! You are a class act, as always!!!
What a beautiful person. So smart.
Kudos to Brendan Frazier for being true to himself, he is such a humble man who been thru some harrowing times. Has endured and come through it all, with his integrity and astonishing honesty intact. I respect and admire him for all he stands for.
Looooove this authenticity!!!! Go Brendan!!!
This guy has real integrity! His decision to stand against hypocrisy, and to remain respectful and open speaks volumes!
Brendan seems like such a wonderful human being.
I'm glad Brendon is back in the spotlight. I'm glad he's standing to his own.
He's so nice it hurts
Brendan Fraser. What a man. So much respect for him.
My hugs and support for Mr. Fraser. That's how you answer these kind of questions
Massive respect to Brendan for being a great person and actor
Absolutely, “to thine own self be true”, words to live by. ❤❤❤
Every word. Every damn word out of Brendan Fraser's mouth profoundly moves me, inspires more respect and makes me grateful there is a human who by his mere existence makes those around him better.
May he continue to achieve peace and find joy in his work. He has important things to say.
What a class act - well mannered, dignified and graceful.
most of these shows are there to sell ad space. bang! there you go! It's not easy to be part of this machinery when you earn your money with it. on one side you're honored to get awards and on the other side you don't want to support certain power of bad people in the business. He manages that very wisely! great man!
Falling in love with Brendan Frasier..congratulations on all your success xoxo from Vancouver
This man is incredible he deserves the world so humble
This guy is so unreasonably genuine.
Love how he said don't be surprised, Austin won! You can't win everything. He is such a humble man
Mr. Fraser is just such a genuine and humble celebrity. He seems like such a sweet guy.
What a genuine man. Wow! More people in that industry should be just like that!
I cannot recall in memory someone rocketing so fast to my favourite actor. I cannot get enough of interviews with him. He should be seen as more than just an actor, however. He should be viewed as an beacon of hope for mental health and also men's health.
I could listen to him talk forever, he has such a beautiful voice and tone. He's not afraid to go against the norm and he does it in a way that isn't offensive, I love that about him! We need to see more of this manpower Hollywood!!! 💖🙏💖🙏💖
It's always been a dream of mine to meet Brendan Fraser. I'm so fckn happy for the guy...I love tis man.
