Omg I cannot believe that I found your channel... I am a vegan who happens to think that Dr.Greger is one of the smartest men alive AND I've really been wanting to get into Japanese cooking.
So yeah....you covered all the bases.
    New sub here. 😊

@@EastMeetsKitchen Well, from what I've seen so far, you definitely do not make veggies seem boring at all. 😊
Oh and thank you so much for the Japanese tips! I actually think I have all those ingredients already...
( I have been preparing to cook Japanese for quite some time) 😂
I will most definitely keep it in mind as far as making any suggestions! Thank you!

Thank you for this! Greger is fantastic. Love seeing you in your kitchen too, rather than just the pot. You should do videos like this more often.

Wow this video is so well-done! Love the idea of applying Dr. Greger to different cuisines. That soup looks so warming and delicious! I will definitely be making that :)

This is amazing! I’ve been following the daily dozen for a while but this makes it nice and easy! You should do more of these!

Thank you for this video! Because of peri-menopause weight gain I am trying to be extra conscious of what I'm eating, not over-eating and eating clean. I ended up downloading the daily 12 app and following it is really helping and a reminder of what is missing in my daily diet. I can't wait to try out all of these recipes and would love more of these kinds of videos.

@@EastMeetsKitchen I honestly think we occasionally forget how food affects our body and our moods. I know when I eat something healthy, now more than ever my body revolts!
As with everyone else I would love, love, love to see different cuisines using the daily dozen. Though I am partial to Japanese and other Asian style dishes. When I first went Vegan 19 years ago (January 1 was my Veganversary), it was mostly Asian cuisine that helped me transition. Also, my husband is Japanese and I try as often as I can to make Vegan Japanese dishes.
I absolutely adore your channel and hope it continues to grow! xo

I absolutely love the way you put these together and the way you show the tick boxes as you go along! And what fantastic recipes!
I tried the app a few years ago but my issue was beans. I was sick of beans after a few days. Lol never really got back to liking them as much as I did before. But you seem to have some fantastic ideas I stead of my simple cooked bean batches. :)
Anyhow. You’re fantabulous! So glad that you share all this!!!! 💚💚💚

Yeah, I don't like beans either. So I use lentils instead, especially the red ones are easy to cook

Thanks for the tip about the boiling the aberage tofu because I usually avoid it due to it being fried. The kiwi jelly is so cute. Great meal plan ideas!

Hello! Thanks for putting this together :) Yours is the first video I've seen that includes a bean product in a smoothie, so I love that! I often put black, white, or kidney beans in mine (and sometimes silken tofu) to get some much-needed protein in there. I also think you used a reasonable amount of fruit, rather than trying to cram all of the fruit for the day in. I have to be careful about blood sugar, so I'm happy to see that. I'm looking forward to the rest of the video.

I love love the idea of this daily dozen day of recipes 😻 You executed it in such an amazing way, with healthy yet delicious and not bland options! I actually plugged this into the chronometer and it got a 99% and has a whopping 114 gr of protein! I will definitely make these recipes and start implementing the daily dozen.

Best to avoid Stevia and all artificial sweeteners.
Recommend using maple syrup instead. Or, make your own sweetener with a selection of fruits that have been reduced to syrup. Could also try to make your own powdered sweeteners with various fruits.

I can't believe that you use sugar and oil. Dr. Greger would never recommend that!
