I’ve been using black eyed peas with chopped potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions and garlic and spinach. Yum!!!
That book changed my life! Thanks for sharing your tips. I’m ordering TVP right now for those meals I don’t want to crumble tofu for.
So many wonderful tricks to make life good. I love the make dinner at lunch. Also love the 30 minutes of dancing kind of a fun way to get exercise and it's a great cardio workout! The amaranth with sugar that was very interesting
Love this! You are so practical and real! Keep these awesome videos coming!
Great video! Would love to see another ine like this! I will try the soup, thank you for the recipe ❤
Bout to change our lives in ‘24! Thanks for the tips! I’m going to premake soups to pull out all week. My kids love oatmeal and a smoothie in the morning and apples and PB after school.
Great video! Can you share how you made the amaranth?
Very helpful video thanks 👍 and that soup looks delicious 😋
I wish I could make dinner at lunch time but I’m at work.
I’ve just tried adding 1/2 cooked beans in a smoothie, makes it thick and creamy and you can’t taste it!
Awesome content, we might do something similar soon!
Now not sure what's happening with my mac and this video together, but it keeps lightening and darkening up randomly? Is it because of the video being HDR?
Tell me about the B-12. I'm new to plant-based eating, you're the second vegan today to mention it. Is B-12 required for vegans/vegetarians?
It is recommended since it’s not easily obtained on a vegan diet. But you can get it from eggs if you choose to eat eggs.
I feel like their diet lacks fat.
Maybe a little compared to the average diet, but they're definitely getting some from the nuts and seeds they're eating.
TVP is not a whole food. 👎
@@ilmareofthemaiar considering she's supposedly following a doctor's advice and not doing what he recommends, is it? As I understand it you're only supposed to count whole foods on The daily dozen. I've only been to nutrition facts and seen Dr Greger himself say so, but what do I know.
It's really not okay here because it contradicts Dr Gregers recommendations. Butler Soy Curls are a great sub, and they are just soybeans. TVP is a by product of the soy oil extraction
@@mattdonalds9996 I guess it’s “not okay” within specific dietary guidelines. MY understanding of the daily dozen was that it’s things to aim to INCLUDE every day, but I don’t know. Anyway, I personally would never make it a goal to eat exclusively whole foods…
@@ilmareofthemaiar well personally, you probably aren't as concerned with health as Dr Greger is. That's fine. The most of those who follow the daily dozen probably are concerned with health.
Thanks for this and your other videos. I’ve been eating mostly vegan for a while but have been using a lot of the fake meats and cheeses. I really struggled this year when my partner and I did vegan January. I like that a lot of your ideas and meals do not include a lot of cooking.
