So that you may know, I was an empiricist the majority of my life [40yrs], suffering from an extremely high Intelligence Quotient. It was and still is very painful, but with much less intensity knowing God. I met Francis Collins from a woman I dated for 5.5 yrs, and discovered the entire world's population of homo sapiens came from three Y chromosomes, or Noah's Sons. Immediately after that discovery, I went to a church; and that day at that church, I met Ken Ham. It was truly a profound experience. I had a Romans 1:20 experience and immediately became overwhelmingly frightened; thinking that I touched God [ego does that to us]. I am so grateful that the Lord truly pulled me from the World and into His hand otherwise I would still be lost. I can't explain it any other way, it's just that simple. The experience left no room for any argument that I could approach a lack of faith with. I had no more excuses and could not run away. I agree with Frank: a lot of researchers and scientists do have agendas. They want the facts to all fit inside their nice little box. And if they have to twist their own arms to make it all "work" the way they want it to, then that's what they're going to do. Problem is...a lot of theologians are the same way. They start out with the conclusion (for example) that the Bible is the sole and inerrant word of God. And they'll go to any length necessary to make that become "true" for them. "I don't know" is unacceptable: You HAVE to know! Or else you go to hell. Under these kind of conditions, you'll make sacrifice necessary.
@@WizardImpit's so infrequent that researchers twist their data to reach a priori conclusions that when it does happen it becomes a massive scandal, they are fired and can even have their accreditation revoked. Christians, theists, have to paint scientists as having an agenda in order to defend their beliefs. As if all scientists worldwide are corroborating with each other to lie to the public. Absurd

Young man needs to start with the fact that we’re it not for Christian European men from 1600s on, there would be no such thing as science. Next he must understand that science examines the natural and faith is in the realm of supernatural, but not illogical. Finally he needs to see that the science of archeology, when done and interpreted correctly, will prove the historicity of the Bible.
Mate, do you realise how arrogant you sound? Your statement is also loaded with orientalism. It's also an oversimplification. Science didn't start with Christian Europeans-civilisations like the Greeks, Indians, Chinese, and Islamic scholars made massive contributions long before the 1600s. Faith might not always be illogical, but it operates outside the evidence-based methods of science. As for archaeology, while it has confirmed some historical details from the Bible, it's also disproven others, and it doesn't validate supernatural claims like miracles or divine intervention. In fact, science and faith serve different purposes, and one doesn't need to "prove" the other.
@@usapatriot444Sure, archaeology can be wrong-just like any field of study-but it's based on evidence, not wishful thinking. For example, archaeology has shown that the Exodus story doesn't line up with evidence of a mass migration from Egypt. Jericho’s walls? Yeah, they were already gone long before the supposed conquest by the Israelites. And the absence of large-scale settlements in the wilderness during the time of the biblical wandering? Not exactly a "win" for biblical literalism, is it?
One only needs to stay in their religious bubble to protect oneself from evidence. Simply be in denial of scientific evidence calling actual science “scientism” and mislabeling it. @@vladtheemailer3223 I say, it explains everything. Believers crucified Jesus, believers killed innocent little children by the thousands in OT. The Bible clearly tells us, we don’t have to worry about another person’s God, but stay away from the evil he justifies at the behest of his faith in a God. Another instance, if anyone believes the mind can commit adultery, he will believe that the end of life, death is not enough of a failure. They’ll create such a place and condition without realizing they’ll have to condemn others to such, for no other reason than to justify its existence.
@@grapeape1508 Okay, here goes! Believing the Bible requires one to give up actual human thought processes. For one, believers were yelling crucify him, when Jesus was crucified. Throughout the Old Testament there are stories of believers killing thousands of innocent little children, whose only mistake was to live in a time that put them in contact with believers. Those stories show us clearly, you don’t fear another person’s God, but you should fear what he does in honor of his God. So far all evil, acts against lineages and humanity. For a believer, one can commit adultery with the mind, which is a good indication that death should not be considered enough of a failure to life, so, he’ll conjure a condition and place that is. Now he’ll have to put someone in there, to justify its existence, here he’ll give up those mental processes, by following the words of the ‘forgiver’, his own family, parents, and his own children. If not for the honor of the surrounding stupidity, those stories would give us cringe as though we were witnessing them in person.

I have never heard anyone define science as a method to discover the cause or effect relationships in the universe, and the fact we have ideas of what happens outside the universe in science disproves that. And you also wouldn't need fine tunning for cause and effect to happen, things would still be caused by other events and effected regardless of the starting conditions. You also don't need to exist for this to be true. And you wouldn't need a mind because the truth is still the truth and you don't need to assert it in your mind for it to be true. The laws of logic must exist already because they have to. Things don't have tonbe consistent besides just cause and effect themselves. I disagree with almost every requirement of science he said.

I was an empiricist the majority of my life [40yrs], suffering from an extremely high Intelligence Quotient.
I've always been on a truth quest and not a happiness quest as Frank often says. There's a reason this happened to me the way that it did and I'll follow it to my death; because I know now, that I'll live with Him eternally and for His purposes, not my own. It's very relieving and my burden has been lifted. It's quite humbling, indeed. I should have prayed for Wisdom.
For unto whom much is given, much will be required. My life belongs to Him now. I am, His witness.
I try to maintain anonymity as much as possible, obviously.
I don't want people to know exactly who I am,
because I don't like the attention.

@ What has archeology disproven about the Bible? Could these archeologists be in error?

Another instance, if anyone believes the mind can commit adultery, he will believe that the end of life, death is not enough of a failure. They’ll create such a place and condition without realizing they’ll have to condemn others to such, for no other reason than to justify its existence.
@ it’s because you are blind to what it says.

Okay, here goes!

@@seanpierce9386 1. The scientific method is used to observe and test our world. To speculate any existence beyond what we are able to detect/verify is just that…speculation
2. Atheists who don’t hold what view? That observable and testable evidence isn’t credible? Please show me one
3. Faith is not a reliable path to truth, in fact is mega problematic. It isn’t a method. The scientific method is

2. There are atheists who don’t necessarily think that the scientific method is sufficient to prove every truth claim. (We really need a more succinct replacement for “scientism”.) For example:
a. Atheist supernaturalists such as Buddhists.
b. Multiverse proponents and those who believe the universe extends beyond the observable one
c. Those who admit that we cannot establish science without making assumptions first, or that most of our life decisions are not scientifically verified, etc.
@@seanpierce9386so here’s the thing. If we cannot observe that something is true/real, then we cannot claim it’s true/real.
So this ends up being a lot of philosophizing…which is fine but it can’t actually go anywhere until it’s verified.
Science is a methodology that investigates our natural world, which happens to be the only world we know exists. Until some other reality is demonstrated then it is the natural.
But beyond all this, the solid argument for the scientific method In particular is that it’s about observation and testing. If we cannot observe something to exist then it’s just conjecture.
And if we cannot test it then we cannot verify it. We are incapable of knowing its properties or whether any of our suspicions are actually accurate.
There is no god. I will continue to think that until I die
You seem very strong in your belief but the question remains ... why are you here on this channel? Lol! Merry Christmas...
Alejandro... you've just assumed a burden of proof.
@@alejandrojoselizano good question indeed. If you're not here you find answers then are you just wanting to tell people there is no God. Here's the thing, if a Christian lives as a Christian but there's no God then he hasn't lost anything. But if an atheist doesn't believe in God and there is a God then he has lost everything. Have a Merry Christmas brother. May God bless you 🙏🏽. Read Jeremiah 33:3
