This is such a great tutorial. It's like just when a question pops up in my mind, it is answered in the presentation. I waited through 4 hours of tutorial to learn how to sync with my bank (which she says, at the beginning of the video, is covered) only to find out that they stop the lesson before she gets to that point. Sure, I understand that you're selling your lessons, but if you are in the habit of telling me that I'm going to get something, and then after I've committed, you don't follow through, then I have a hard time trusting anything your doing. I will say, with fairness, that I still found the 4 hour class valuable and informative.

The videos are really great. I'm having a little trouble with the accounts part. How should I enter expenses that were made by me from cash, before I had a bank account for the business? How do I reflect paying that back from the business to self, or do I reflect it as assets even though some of it was food stock?

Thank you for this tutorial, and the time involved in making it. It's very well laid out, and explained very clearly. The downside is, and this is no fault of yours, I'm about an hour and a half in and realizing how powerful this software is. I've also realized I don't need something this complicated, and I'm in WAY over my head. I just need a spreadsheet solution to record my expenses and income. I've been in business for over 10 years and have to do all the work here, book keeping, quotes, invoicing, packing, labor, bill payment. Quickbooks is supposed to make running a business easier, but I can see now that it's going to make it much more complicated. I'm waiting until the end of the tutorial to make a final decision on this, but it looks like I'm going to try to get a refund on Quickbooks. It's just way too much for me at this time.
You may need to hire a bookkeeper to help you out.

Hi Cindy, I greet you well. Wonderfully informative and helpful presentations! I watched both this 2018 and 2019 editions, as well as your 2021 presentations. I have learned something from each. What I find missing, however, is a sections on reports. I know there are ots and lots ofreports in QuickBooks and it would be nearly impossible to present on each. But I feel you could give us something on the major one, as well as how to customize some of them. Best regards.

I've looked at a few options, but would like to know the suggested option. I've heard of doing something called a "Draw", but don't have a good understanding how that works and if it's the best choice for me. Any help is appreciated.

Very informative and thank you, Cindy! My firm is looking for a new software and Quickbooks might be what we need but I'm still unsure. We are looking for a software program that will help us keep track of employee timesheets, client expenses, AR and thereby, ultimately produce a report of how profitable a client is to the firm. Similar to how legal firms operate, we would like to compare an employee's hours (converted to a billable $ rate) plus client expenses against the income we receive. Do you have a suggestion on which Quickbooks version is best suited? Or possibly a video explaining how it can be done in Quickbooks?

Hello Cindy, I'm listening to the 2 module Video #1 where we add company file...We have one company however we mainly use the company bank for expenses and on occasion use the personal Bank for any expenses. Should I only set up one company file or 2?
this video is phenomenal however I have a question? If I have a customer that I am providing custom logo'd items. I purchase garments from one vendor and another vendor does the decoration. Do I have to create 2 different purchase orders or estimates for each vendor or can I do in one PO. I would like to have one PO for the customer's order. Layman's terms I have 2 suppliers to fulfill one order.

Nice tutorial. One beef with QBO is that it misses a basic feature - marking an expense as billable and invoicing it back to a client. You must buy a premium plan with Quickbooks that gives you hundreds of features you don't care about as a freelancer. It's like a ruse - such a basic feature "billable expenses" singled out to push you into a higher plan...

Hello, are there any options or a way to modify Multi currency on the desktop version for 2021. I saw an option on the Online version. NOTE* I still haven´t set up multi-currency, just wanted to find out what were the options. Thank you
So good, I just wish it was for QB Pro 2021 for Mac :( Unfortunately, the navigation between the Mac and PC versions is just different enough to make using this tutorial not work.

Hi Cindy, I would like to purchase the Desktop version so that I can back up the files sent to us from our current Accountant. He only uses Desktop. Any suggestions on which version to purchase? Pro vs. Premier? Both are currently on sale. We have online so this has created a problem for back ups. Just trying to figure out a seamless transition.

Girl.... this is an incredible lesson.... I learned to do things that I can't imagine that I can, but I have a question. How can I erase everything in my QuickBooks and start again from scratch??? I asking because I made some mistakes that I think are better to delete and re-started. Could I uninstall the QuickBooks and re-install using the same CD?
