I like watching your videos because I'm also on Zwift and your constant good mood is infectious. And then, not having your level, you are still a source of inspiration. Keep it up ;)
Great to see you give the Alpe a good crack again, Erik 🎉 I always have to watch it all the way to the end, just to make sure that you make it to the finish banner 😂 Yes, I get that I can fast forward but then there is no tension build up 🤪 Nice time too 💪 🚴 ⛰️
I have ride once AdZ under 1-hour. Those days I had Bkool Smart Pro trainer which was very generous about power readings. I almost felt that I'm a at least semi pro cyclist, when outdoor season started reality hit right on my face.
I feel reverse-click-baited! You said AdZ in under an hour but you have done Road to Sky in under an hour which is significantly harder than just doing the Alpe under one hour.
Just think-same watts/kg to do a 1 hour Alpe du Zwift sustained for 9 hours will get you the big shiny belt buckle at the Leadville 100😮. Assuming you don’t linger at the aid stations too long.
My goal but age and health problems. Need to ride more, my best when average 100 miles per week and weight in the morning 169 lbs at 59 years old is 1:14. Felt like I could easily do 1:10 with proper training.
Thought I saw your name there in the mix. Solid effort 💪. Streamed mine too and yes almost threw up at end as well 😂…first time racing after about 2 years of major injury brutal way to start lol
Smashed it E and smashed yourself 🥵 I’ll just be happy with my sub 70 minute Alpe time because watching you slog up those bends reminded me of how much I hate this climb.
If I'm over 50 (age 53) and can get up the Alpe under 50 before the end of this year . . . you can do it again in your 30s. ./gauntlet thrown If I recall, you did somewhere around 46 minutes before . . . but, as much as you hate the Alpe, I won't be surprised if you leave that gauntlet on the floor where I threw it. Still ./gauntlet thrown 😅

Thanks for watching and RIDE ON!
lol Eric, be great to see your best top 10 intros and outros, they are hilarious man
Complete with snot rockets today at the line! 🤪
I got it done by 48mins 19s a month ago. I can never imagine that I can hold 4wkg over 40 mins while hr remain around 160. Maybe I was lucky that day.
Do you realise with who you were riding bro? DAMIANO CUNEGO!!!! 🇮🇹 What a LEGENDARY Climber!!! ❤❤❤
The more important question is... does he know who DGDC is!?
Yeah, I recognised him too, esp with his red "I'm so famous" red tick!
@MrColnagoCLX Well , he deserves all the red ticks in the world... Winner of the Giro d'Italia!!! Put some respect on his name mate.
Hat’s off , Great Job Eric 💪👍
🤙🏽
GG Eric. Legend.
✌🏽
ADZ sub 60 baby! Only way to fly. ✈️🙏🙌
⏱️
Damn this looked tough. I am new to zwift and overweight, definitely waiting a few more months before I attempt it :D
Just get up there whenever you can, if you don't make it it's ok. New goal is further every time until you make it to the TOP!

hahaha ngl I wasn't thinking about making sure I made it... 😬
Honestly.....I am so glad to see an involuntary snot rocket outta someone else's face! glad I'm not the only one.
It was just hanging there after crossing the line!

Just accidentally hit the wrong number when adjusting your weight and instant tour pro!
I feel reverse-click-baited! You said AdZ in under an hour but you have done Road to Sky in under an hour which is significantly harder than just doing the Alpe under one hour.
LMAOOOOOOO didn’t even realize I did that too! Gotta hit the new subs and viewers with the sub 1hr title every year or so 🤪

Jellyfish did 8848 meters climbing on this map in 9 hours!

Just keep riding and staying healthy!!! ✌🏽

No wonder I didn’t see you… up front the whole time 🤪 Musta been the DMX!
@ haha DMX an easy 15W 😂
Smashed it E and smashed yourself 🥵

Slowly and I mean SLOWLY starting to grow on me...
43 minutes is my record for the climb, but it was a dumb trainer with Garmin sensors
Aeroboost at 12kph, I think he's on to something! :D
I clearly was LOOOOOSING it and panicking with each rider picking my off!!!
Nice avg around 250+ watts HR 160-165. 💪
Good job. Hey, you see Eric Barfell is talking ish about you on his latest video. You need to get over there and defend your honor. 😁
Funny enough I did that Baseline today! He's more than welcome to line it up anytime with me and let the legs do the talking...
lol I watched your video where you did the alpe du zwift and then you stopped at the top before finishing and you said never again.
Time flies... can't believe that was almost 3 years ago!!!
absolute CLASSIC!!
Why am I still awake!
Thanks for taking the words outta my mouth! Goodnight sir
@ 😅
Cheeky grabber for picking up snacks from the floor???
Usually for the dropped towel but didn’t hurt to grab the one welches that got away!
So what happend Erik, two years ago 45.11 this time 52.11 and it looked like a struggle...???
🤷🏻♂️ Peak Covid fitness was real 🤪
