Ah thank you! I do spend a silly amount of time selecting and sometimes making the music 🎶 I have a video on 10mm buildings but yeah u want to do one on a board soon definitely 😊
@@TheWizardsBrush yeah, soldiers would require change in proportions and adjustment of detail, but these chariots look pretty neat. I might try something like that in the future.
Printed my first 10mm and I think I either over cleaned them or over baked them cause they are quite brittle. How long do you clean and I’ve expose them for?
Yeah the brittle thing is definitely a problem, especially with the tiny spears etc. I had a whole bunch of mine smash, tbf something fell on them. It could be the resin your using, I tend to use ABS like resin as its less brittle. Still not perfect though. I've never timed the cleaning or post exposure so I'm not sure about that part of it. Hope it works out! What faction did you go for?
@ yeah I use a clean and cure machine and tried 3 minutes so will probably go down to 2. I just found some warmaster figures to experiment with, and started with undead skeletons so are even thinner than “normal” but still good fun. I’ll be grabbing some of Wakes UriKai cause ya gotta love the bad guys and I have a few in 28mm!!! Probably White tree guys after that as I really like yours!
@julianking3847 ah yeah I need to get one of those, mine get chucked in a Jar and swizzled for 30secs/1min ish. Ah interesting, so extra cleaning time makes them more brittle you find? Nice! I will definitely be doing uruk hai soon. Ah thank you 😊 🙏
Easterlings have always been one of my favorite factions just because they look so cool and they are one of the few underdeveloped aspects of Lotr. It’s a shame GW is going to cut them from middle earth.
Thank you 🙏 well this week I'm going to start a video on the rules and I will be essentially playing against myself (filming it) Then I'm hoping to convince someone to have a battle and film it asap 😊
Yeah definitely, I found some archers for free (Cut some singles to use on the chariots) link in my description. Then Cav for both sides. Next job for sure
Ah that's interesting, I always saw it as gold plated (or bits of gold plated) in the films at least, the wiki says - "Their gold or brass overlayed steel lamellar armor" different to the book obviously. I think the props were cast polyurethane resin, so I'm not sure if the intention for it was to present as brass or gold or bits of both. I think that saying it's brass/bronze or that with bits of gold trim seems like a reasonable interpretation for the miniatures? Obviously in real history no one would be rocking up in wholly gold armour, I'm assuming anyway. I could be wrong there 😄
@castiron9002 Ah wow cool! I didn't know that about the rust prevention. I appreciate the info and the feedback 😊 Got me thinking about tinting them towards brass in the future, bit more red tone in the wash or a brassy gold. Ah thank you 🙏
@TheWizardsBrush oh definitely, and when it comes to their actual lore and culture its somewhat chinese and japanese mixed with a bit of Arab. Their love for dragons and their basic worship of their existence is something that I always love as a inspiration concept.
@@TheWizardsBrush honestly I couldn't agree more, like think of it being able to create entire races, cultures, heroes, intrigued between factions and whole kingdoms. Plus having a literal lore book of old kingdom, the old Ar-Ardunain and even how your entire world came into existence..you would think it was a family project passed down and made better, but no just a single man with so many ideas in his head that he decided to put on paper. Sure there were some inspirations, but what he did was absolutely a once in a century tipe of creation. I am sorry about this entire rambling but I am honestly a LOVER of Tolkien works and the Peter Jackson films, so these tipe of things, and honestly how how beautiful you paint the minis, are something I've wanted to do and see for so long!
@clewintheunissen7438 Very well said 👏 Honestly this is the place to ramble about Tolkien, not that I consider what you've said as rambling, you hit he nail on the head! I love having these kind of discussions! We are constantly chatting away about this kind of thing in our discord. Ah thank you, I really appreciate it and glad you like the minis 😊🙏

Size doesn't matter when you are a wizard of your talent.
Ah thank you 😊 🙏 🧙♂️
You’ve done a great job on the Easterlings! Can’t beat a bit of red and gold. The chariots look cool too - must add some rules for these!
Thank you Dave! Yeah always pops! Ah that would be so good yo have rules for the Chariots 🔥 🐎
Amazing Video! Can’t wait for more! Do the Elvish army please!!!
Thank you! 😊 Yeah I have the files for lothlórien elves, will hit those up soon, maybe next
The troll in the easterling armor was kind of funny for a minute there I thought he was just a really big boy.
😄 🤣 yeah just a Mega roid rage easterling. That is one interpretation that I fully support.
Love your vids (somehow your choices of background music are always amazing haha), any plan for terrain building content ?
Ah thank you! I do spend a silly amount of time selecting and sometimes making the music 🎶 I have a video on 10mm buildings but yeah u want to do one on a board soon definitely 😊
Nice! Thanks for the update! Love the editing :)
Thank you 😊 🙏 my pleasure
Great idea and job with rescaling!
Thank you! 😊 Yeah it's possible with things like chariots and Artillery. Soldiers not so much
@@TheWizardsBrush yeah, soldiers would require change in proportions and adjustment of detail, but these chariots look pretty neat. I might try something like that in the future.
I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your passion like this.
Glad you enjoy them, it's my absolute pleasure! Thank you for watching and commenting 🙏
Oh 😊 ! Nice
Thank you 😊 🙏
These look truly amazing! I need to look into Warmaster Revolution. Thanks for linking the rulebook.
Thank you 😊 Yeah it's a great game! I think I forgot to put the LOTR add on rules there. I Will put the the link in the description later this evening
Once again, awesome! I wonder what life in the Vortex is like
Cheers dude! Life in the Vortex.Time dilates and contracts, there is no distance between places and I'm somehow always tired 😀
We love 10mm
10mm ❤️ 🙌
We need a battle report !
Working on it, I'll be doing a basic overview of the game soon with a veiw to have some kind of battle report 😊
There is a very good 10mm Mumakil model my brother made for his 10mm Haradrim force. Got it off Etsy but I’m sure you could find the prints for it
Oooh that's cool! Yeah doing a haradrim force sounds fun! Defo on the cards
Cool
😊 🙏

Yeah they are so cool in the books and they are definitely the best looking baddies in mesbg for sure. Mad that there dropping them honestly 😔
They're not cutting them. Khand and Far Harad are getting cut.
Ah ok that's still a shame but dropping Easterlings would be crazy
Looking good. When is the war beginning? And are you going to do some highlights?
Thank you 🙏 well this week I'm going to start a video on the rules and I will be essentially playing against myself (filming it) Then I'm hoping to convince someone to have a battle and film it asap 😊
@TheWizardsBrush il make sure to give it a watch.
@neilaitkenakathebutcher5223 awesome 👌 appreciate it, I'll make it a goody
they need cavs and archers and swordsmen id buy em all
Yeah definitely, I found some archers for free (Cut some singles to use on the chariots) link in my description. Then Cav for both sides. Next job for sure
The armour would be bronze or brass, not gold.

@TheWizardsBrush Yeah, it could be brass plated. The romans did something similar with tin to prevent rust. At any rate, the video was great 👍.

I would just have Easterlings if I cpuld and paint them be red and gold for regular troops, black and silver or smth like that for "elites"
Yeah nice idea 💡 The Easterlings definitely have the best look in my opinion, definitely out of the 'baddies'
@TheWizardsBrush oh definitely, and when it comes to their actual lore and culture its somewhat chinese and japanese mixed with a bit of Arab. Their love for dragons and their basic worship of their existence is something that I always love as a inspiration concept.
@clewintheunissen7438 Yeah definitely! they are a fascinating culture, a real testament to Tolkien's world building and imagination!

the whole thing is too dark to see proper colours. Zonk!
