2025 All-New Subaru Forester: FIRST LOOK --This Family Classic Gets An Nice Upgrade

Since it introduction in 1997, the ‪@Subaru‬ Forester has sold 2.6m models. For context, that's half the number that Toyota has sold in Priuses. Not bad for a small company. And people LOVE their Foresters! An IIHS 17 all-time Top Safety Pick, this car is also a safe choice.
When I got a chance to preview it in Santa Barbara, CA, I was stoked. Little did I know it would occur at the Clark Estate (www.bellosguardo.org/). Guys, this place is gorgeous and has just re-opened to the public after a 60 year closure.
OK, on to the Forester.
I get into the details at the end of this video, but it's worth noting a few of these details:
*Pricing TBD (but expect an increase, cuz..you know..life)
*will go on sale Spring 2024
*SUBARU SAYS THAT A HYBRID VERSION IS DEF COMING!! (electric? TBD)
Upgrades in this version include:
*10% increased rigidity
*added insulated material (one of my criticisms from the last gen-- a little noisy)
*standard roof rails on all models
*upgraded 11" infotainment unit
*standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
*wireless charging pad + 4 USB (A & C)
*upgraded Subaru Eyesight system with a new wider angle
*Emergency Stop Assist
*foot-activated power liftgate available
What I like:
*it looks good, not special, but good
*they didn't blow the size (it's literally .5" bigger, big whoop!)
*the upgraded seats are super comfy for those big and large (I tested with a buddy who is 6' and says he's "fat" :) )
I can't wait to drive it.

Is it lower in height than the outgoing Forester? It surely looks like that.

No, it's actually the same at 8.7". The only one that's higher is the Wilderness package. I think it's just the redesign that makes it look that way (or my camera angles). Thanks for watching!

Good video, but maybe you should do a thorough walk around the car first, and then talk about the interior and then the cargo space. I was waiting for you to close the hatch so I can see how the rear looks. The other B roll shots do not really show much.
