Now that’s how Vader should of acted, you can see and feel the rage and emotion from him. Obiwan is both a reminder of who he was and was destined to be, and also of what he had lost. His wife, potential child, and the possibility to reforge the galaxy to his own Empire, where he believed he could bring peace, and prosperity. This is the man that put him in this excruciating suit and took away his true powers potential 20 years prior.
@The Red Queen While this is true, keep in mind that humans, no matter what medium you put them into, are not exactly logical beings, especially with regards to things such as tragedy. Whether or not he knows about Palpatine's manipulations and the effects they had, Vader still places blame at Kenobi's feet - that much is certain even to me, even though I've not watched the latter two prequels, just the first one. You don't hate someone that much without placing some form of personal blame on them.
The Red Queen Quigon was kind of a black sheep amongst his fellow Jedi. I wouldn’t say he was a radical but he definitely had a progressive mindset while everyone else was set with the current state of affairs. If he would’ve lived and trained Anakin he definitely would’ve been more lenient and more accepting with a lot of Anakin’s choices such as falling in love and what not. He would’ve been more flexible when it came to rules unlike the rest of the council members. Obi wan was also a bit of a progressive I would say but not at the same level as Quigon as I believe that he know about Padme and Anakin and just kinda turned a blind eye on it (The Clone Wars series) as he himself was in love with Satine and almost left the Jedi Order for her. Obi Wan was just a reminder of Vader’s past, full of hate, sorrow, and lost, and thus must be eradicated.
It's crazy that fan projects have gotten to the point of getting stuff like this. I remember when the best fan made stuff was people filming light saber battles out in their back yards.
Yeah, it’s mental what they can do these days. I would honestly have no issue with that being spliced into the movie, because it makes the transition from the prequels and Rogue One smoother and doesn’t detract from the original performances.
@@TrackMaster844 Disney: the circle is now complete. When I left you o was but the learner, but now I am the master. Fans: only a master of evil Disney.
@@MovieBurnerEntertainmentEnjoyed your reaction guys. Have you reacted to the fan film called Darth Maul: Apprentice, it's impressive. Here is the link if you want to react to it. ua-cam.com/video/Djo_91jN3Pk/v-deo.html
6 1/2 minute fan film puts P.7 an P.8 TO SHAME!!! With the editing an music plus sound bites from P.3, as a fan.You could see,an feel the hate for Obi wan! Even the expressions on Vaders face inside the helmet! WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not a spoiler that they have the voices of Revenge of The Sith... if you watch it in sequence from episode I in chronological order it makes sense
saw something on here, no idea if theres any truth. Disney is considering a 're-do'. Some complicated premise that would delete movies 7,8 & 9 as an alternate universe type thing to allow a second chance, but sadly some are no longer with us even if they want to do that.
You can see in the fight that Ben is kind of going easy on Vader and actually telegraphing a few of his moves because 1. He wants to draw Vader to the hanger to create a diversion so his friends can escape, and 2. Luke must witness his sacrifice.
This clip helps the continuity of the rest of the prequels. Lucas shot himself in the foot with this with episodes 1-3 by making the light saber duels and Jedi/Sith powers so extravagant and acrobatic. It just didn't make sense when you see the clunky nature of episode 4 because it was a product of its time for any sort of special effects. This scene really bridges that gap.
But he had free reign to do it. We had only seen old Jedi and a half-robot duel. How about having a Jedi and a Sith in his prime go at it and show us what a lightsaber battle should look like? It would have been boring as fuck to have Obi-Wan and Darth Maul have a similar duel, don't you think? Now looking back, what if they could make the ATAT's in Empire more like they are now, or make the Ewoks or the Rancor more believable. I wouldn't mind seeing that at all.
Always loved how Vader stomps and feels around with his feet Obi-Wans robe, he can’t figure out what’s going on. That’s the only part I would have added, a “what?” Or some similar reaction. Vader has killed perhaps hundreds of Jedi, but he had never seen that happen. A pivotal moment that has always been overlooked
Play director for a second. Suppose that instead of going over and stomping on Kenobi's robes, he uses the Force to whisk them away revealing just an empty space. What would Vader's reaction then be, and how would you have him show it? Is he freaked out? Frightened? Confused?
Just to start, your accents are just so awesome XD. I can listen to you guys speak for hours AHAH. Anyway I agree, I absolutely love this fan film, It's insane that we get fan films of this magnitude now a days. You know, I see a lot people critiquing this fan film, and I get it, we all have our opinions. Speaking on flaws is fair, and that is how you become better as a creator (hopefully), is listening to advice and critiques. I guess I'm just more of the mind set that this isn't a big budget, Disney production. This is a team that has no backing besides probably the money in their own pockets, and what not. You can't judge this fan film too harshly, or in the same way you do a big budget film. Obviously for the reason I just stated, plus we are not paying to see this, it is absolutely free. Anyway, love the reaction :). I am subbed.
Those might be a bit trickier to do, given the more elaborate sets/backgrounds. And honestly, they’re relatively well paced and balanced with dialogue/action anyway, so probably don’t need reimagined. It’d still be cool to see a Luke and Vader fight on steroids though.
I always thought that first fight with Vader and Ben in S W was to short , not enough anger and battle we all know why , it was a mix of technology , the screen swords or what ever they were holding to project the light sabre kept breaking so they had to be careful and it was just the time , they wanted simple fight not to long and nothing to crazy Mr Mcguiness was in his mid 70's he was no Sly Stallone so Big Dave who played Darth had to go easy on him. Thts why Empire is my fav of all the S W movies everything was perfect especially the fight with Luke and Vader I always felt the fight in Jedi was a bit light .
Why take it out? It's not a spoiler anymore. it was a spoiler before the prequels. now that spoiler is revealed in episode 3 so it makes sense to have it there.
Yeah I soon realised after recording the show that watching them in sequential order then it isn't a spoiler and more a reminder to both characters their past relationship. I'm afraid I am still conditioning myself to the order of play having lived through 4-6 for the first 23 years of my life before The Phantom Menace hit the screens back in 99. I'll get there ;)
Have to say who ever made this, Disney needs to hire them or take a damn lesson from this, its sad to say when a fan made video is better then the new stuff the brought out now..
You have to consider that the people who did this had technology that Lucas didn't have back then. All they did was make the scene more exciting. Disney could have done this or better. It's easy to improve something, much harder to invent it.
If it wasn't such a spoiling reveal of Vader's identity (u know, for those who watch Star Wars for the first time in order of release) when they had their "nostalgic" moment, maybe this would have been a 100% acceptable addition. Now it's only 99% acceptable, kinda. However, with either that part's removal or additional clever editing, it could be a perfect candidate for implementing into the movie.
George Lucas last reported is still not satisfied with Star Wars... Its still possible that George Lucas would desire to put that in. THAt made it RIGHT. If Lucas updated it again with that, i'd buy it agsin. Lol. Maybe he🥋'd put "han shot first bdk Thi was spectacular. ...and i like the pre up tott
I hear you, but let’s be honest, George has practically done that anyway in the past with the continual tinkering and additions in the remasters/special editions.
Yes, you're right...I don't mind the re-imagining per say, but it annoys me when people say the original was shit, this was how it was meant to be, this should be canon etc etc.... I actually looked forward to this update since the trailer for it was released, but i found a lot wrong with it and missed things from the original cut which I appreciate even more now.

Yup. It’s more like the guy we seen in Rogue One.

People like these should get the money from the fans, instead of the big companies like Disney.

Yeah, I remember when the best fans could do was fan films like Ryan vs. Dorkman. My how times have changed...
I really appreciate the fighting wasn't light saber tags. They actually looked like they were trying to kill each other with real strikes and defense
SC 38 refers to “scene 38” of the film. Nice reactions keep it up 👍🏼

"You're claimed, ya bass!" - Darth Vader
"Mon then, ya fuckin' rocket" - "Mental" Obi Wan

When will SW fans get their own studios, so we can fixed past mistakes.

At 6:13 you hear a booming sound and Vader looks around. I feel that was the tremor in the Force when Obi-Wan becomes a ghost
Just imagine these scenes put in the 50th anniversary edition. 7 more years to go untill then.
no matter how many times i watch it, Vaders power swing at 3:09, its a great shot and you can just feel the rage he is putting into each strike
"SC38" stands for "Scene 38", i.e. the confrontation between Obi Wan and Vader.
