Dear Mr Plastic, A kit with no cement eh? Most interesting and entertaining little project! For £14 one can’t go wrong. I liked watching this, so thanks for this! Kind regards, Z
I have actually bought one of these kits from Creative Models for £12.16, can't go wrong at that price Paul. I remember building Bandi Star War kits which were snap fit kits but brilliant enginered kits. Good luck with the build.
Enjoyed watching your hands on assembly of that kit, makes a change from listening to someone waffle on plugging some product. Can't knock that for £14. Look forward to part 2.
Paul, I'll be interested to see how this all turns out, as I've never done a snap-together kit. In particular, how much glue will you actually end up having to use, beyond securing the propellers to the shafts.
1/700 is extremely too small for my eyes and fingers. I've done the 1/350 and 1/200 of the MO and the Iowa. Lots of fun! Have a good time with that kit!
Sorry Paul I will get back to a proper ship build with out all the pe ,still plugging away with the mogami I got six weeks holiday at the end of this week so will do a video of the mogami. Hope your well and keeping safe.all the best Paul Ps,what ship would you like to see me build , just curious and help me decide.
Very different and therefore an interesting diversion from mainstream modelling. Looks pretty good so far and quite tempted to give it a go. Think I might use paint and glue though!
Gorgeous work Paul, MENG kit.. I got one to make myself.. it's the USS Lexington CV-2. I'm really behind on my own ships to make because I've got so many aircraft to make, still on the F86F Sabre but at least the worst is behind me now. I've looked for your site and I got 5x different results, does your site have a tank thumbnail image? I have been looking for you on Facebook but I've got different results.. I think I might have found it so is the site the one with the tank thumbnail? On a friendly note I've got an Iowa class Battleship that I made a few years back it's the waterline USS New Jersey in the Korean war livery 1/700 from Tamiya. Maybe you could add some paint of your own, it's artistic license and it makes the end result more satisfying. Looking forward to the Invader but this was very pleasant, excellent to see a master of crafting do something pleasant and forgiving. P.S I did a gundam kit of my own, still have it.. it's the Deathscythe piloted by Duo Maxwell 👍
Hi joe I have put a link to the Facebook group feel free to post your work ,Glad to hear you got the best of your sabre build ,Has for the paint it maybe a possibility at the end with a bit of weathering stay safe and happy modelling.
@@plasticmonkey5594 Thanks for that link, I'm using my tablet right now so I'll get on the laptop and send the request tomorrow.. I know which is the right thumbnail now, will send it post haste tomorrow.. laptop is on charge and been on a while so best let it rest. Thanks for letting me know which is the right one 👍

I can't read the small text on the box, but it certainly isn't obvious that it is a snap-fit kit.
