Good to see you sailing again ! Customs can be sooo frustrating. US customs is no better if it makes you feel better. I’m a truck driver that goes into a port most days. I’ve waited weeks for customs to clear a container to be pick up.
I like how Mako talks to you and to the little birdies. He does a pretty good job with his bird calls. Sounds very close to those little ones’ chirps. My female Bengal used to be like that. Very talkative and very smart girl.

Every plan to sail to Tampa? The ICW from Stuart through the the lake is an "unusual" motoring trip. "interesting" motoring trip. Your mast may be too high for the Indiantown bridge. We sailed across the lake. Our whip anntena touched the bridge. Not much to see inside Florida. Breaking out at Boaca Grand into the gulf the sailing north was good. Went thirty miles offshore. Shallow water everywhere but not the wild inlets on the east coast. Florida is a crazy state for sailors. I still prefer NE for the cool breezes.
Great job. Single handedly leaving port..mako was working getting his sea legs. The new mounts for the dingy ..really gets it up and out of the way Good luck to bvi

She looks bad ass!! You really are making a cruiser out of her. Could you have an extension made for the wind vain? It would be a big help if you had to do any repairs to the vain. And you could remove it and stow it when dockside or on a mooring bouy. And add a light to the pole for the sugar scoop in the evening. Its always nice to have the porch light on when you pull up in the evening. Mako had Ducky answering back! I had to replay that part a dozen times, i was laughing so hard. He was looking at the phone and would go in circles while yaking away! Thanks for the joy you bring to so many people Lauren. I hope you are safely in the BVI and all is well with the boat. Monday is the big day. I wish you a Merry Christmas this will be my first Christmas alone also. But so far its feeling right. Just be sure to get a hold of everyone in your family and enjoy your day. When you bring it up for travel, are there some kind of stamps to secure it to the boat or does it just hang on the pullies? I know you mentioned in your Patreon update that the winds were quite high on your upcoming sail could that cause damage to the dinghy? Sorry that was 2 non-sailing question. No wonder Mako is attacking the decorations, you took away his other birds that were buzzing him at dock.🙀😿😾 I am always happy to see you meeting up with your old sailing friends while traveling. You need more fun times to balance out some of your harder times. Hopefully you will be with some over Christmas, seeing that you will be away from family this year. That can be tough. I will try to send you a few clips of my Christmas traditions so you won't be lonely. No snow here yet, at least non that has stayed on the ground for more that a few hours. Heya, lol my cat does the same wen she see's bird's. so good to see you sailing again. to said you didn't got your solar controler. yeah use the older 1 with 2 or 3 panels oke maybe not as much power as with all panels but better then nothing and don't give a old controller away so you always have a back up 1. and wen you have problems with your controller just let me know maybe with zoom I can help you NP .
