Thats one job nobody looks forward to doing. Unless you've fished wires through a boats hull before, you wouldn't believe the places you have wedge yourself into. One thing i always do when pulling wire, tie a piece of nylon cord to the wire where you splice the new onto the old one. When you pull through the conduit you will have a tie in case you want to pull a new wire in for something else. It saves so much time and you don't need a fish tape to get the wire in. Just tie another piece on prior to putting the new one and your always ready. This is going to be a different Christmas season for me as well. My Mother passed away in August and She was my family. So Christmas will be spent with Her cats who i adopted. They were kind of like Mako at first. Cats don't do change well. But in a few days thing's will return to normal. Your Christmas decorations are a great touch. It really made the boat look warm and Christmasy if thats a word. You're doing a fantastic job on her. It will all pay off when you finish. Ok not actually "finish" but she'll be happy for a while. Love your videos Lauren. You put a lot into your editing. It shows. Can't wait to see her all ship shape and ready for holidays! I wish you blue skys and light winds while you are dockside.
Just a little sailor tip….tie a wood plug next to each though hole just in case you have an issue at sea, you will have the correct size plug to immediately stop a leak in an emergency.

My thoughts exactly. I like how Lauren just gets right in there, no matter what kind of job it is. This lifestyle would do wonders for young women. So many of them are missing out in learning and developing new skills that are highly practical. I have a feeling this lifestyle would be transformational for a high percentage of them.

And you know what? ........ your video's certainly give me some get up and go with respect to getting back on board and sorting our list of problems out. We missed the the last three months of this season due to the boat blowing a gearbox and being stranded out of the water, but now she's back in, we can crack on.

a small hint. When using electrical tape to pull cables, pull it with force around the cable to stretch it. It will shrink and compress the cables so it will hold better and maybe slip through easier because of the compression.

Wiring isn’t the easiest thing to do…. You seem to commit 💯 and don’t stop until you are finished. Keep it up! P.s.. OCD tip.. when you wrap wires with electrical tape, using a small zip tie on either end of the wrap will keep the ends from unfurling.

I'm thinking that I should stop complaining about maintaining my 30x45 house and 9.5 acres of mostly ungroomed treed property. After watching the contorted positions you took in small spaces to pull cable and install equipment. Comparably, I've got it easy.😊 Mako was offering excellent help with the decoration, just at the wrong time.😅 You got the hull to shine like a mirror! I could even see the clouds. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year💖🌞👑✝️😃🤠

I just saw a video about biomimetic boat propellers, and suggest you look them up because they're suppose to be more efficient, and also quieter and since they're quieter, the whales and dolphins are happier. :)
