Did they stick well?? I've heard people say that these things can fall off after a few weeks or after cooking the heat can melt the adhesive.

Did mine 4 yrs. ago and still,looks like I just put it on. Cleans easily with wet cloth with little detergent or just warm water, it has not come undone anywhere and being around my stove did not affect it at all. Mine was a different brand (Smart Tile) but same concept.
BTW I just found your UA-cam site when looking at your Airstone project and I loved it. Can!t wait to see what else you got! Great job on your backsplash. Regards from Ontario, Canada

Are these water proof? My new place does not have the counter lip on the back. It legit ia just counter and wall so nothing behind the sink so we have to replace the wall behind the sink :/

Doing my countertops with Giani paint tomorrow and my backslash with the stick tiles over the weekend. I am so freaking excited after watching you do it. How long does it last?
Have no plans to do this anytime soon and probably never will, but still watched because it was soothing to watch the tiles get lined up so perfectly 😅

Laci, that was great! I am looking to backsplash my kitchen sink area but was very nervous, as I've never done anything like that before. Wow! You make it look easy. Watched a guy do his kitchen just before watching your video. He got a kit that required grouting after the adhering of backsplash. Your process doesn't require that step? Even more awesome! Im tempted to do this, but I really worry about the longevity of it especially around the stove areas where there is a lot of heat and moisture from cooking. It definitely seems easy, but its not really that cheap and the glass tile sheets are pretty easy to do and not much more expensive...hmmmmm...what to do lol...Great video!
Good luck with your decision!! I can say that the heat from the stove hasn't affected these at all. I even put them in my rental :)

Is this okay for rentals like apartments? I'm concerned that when I go to peel it off, I may damage the walls underneath. Thanks!
Lexi S. I haven't tried to remove it, but its very sticky. If I remove it I think it would just take off some paint-not damage the wall. However, I have read of some people using a blow dryer to remove it without any issues. But I cant say 100% for sure because I personally haven't tried it. 💗
Lexi S. Try using wall paper or some type of paper underneath. Tape it to the wall or however you want to adhere it, then put the tile over the paper.
Lexi S. I would use some lightweight plastic cardboard (corflute/chloroplast) and cut it to size, put the tile on that, then slip it into place and take the whole piece off when you leave.
Big improvement over the glitter, I've picked the white for my kitchen, on the Amazon wish list . Been looking for something simple and easy for the back splash, this is the best idea.

I am not sure because I haven't taken it off. You can put them on poster board or something and then put it on the wall if you're worried about wall damage.

I did this on a 10ft by 4.5 wood board. Nailed it to a plain wall. Looks fab!

Not really, you nail a bunch in my walls and you're never getting your deposit back.
Look Deeper I understand what you're saying, but it's easier to remove nails and fill it with wood filler than it would be to repair the walls from the damage of the backsplash. Some people (like me) just aren't happy living in a space that doesn't look good bc it doesn't make them feel good. I guess it just comes down to how much it matters to you personally and what you're willing to do.

So, it's basically wall paper with 3D feel look texture......, but will it discolor peel off, fade, tear up drywall if you change your mind..
HonestEagle98: If you use a primer first, it shouldn't tear up the drywall. But that's a good point. Don't know about peeling, unless your surface is not properly prepared.

We are building our home and opted out for them doing it for us..saved us some money but are looking to do it ourselves. This video is great! I was a little hesitant in using the peel and stick but it looks so easy and so good! Thanks for sharing :)

I looked into these but they were actually a bit too pricey for me. I ended up leaving my back splash plain and then getting $10 decal stickers from walmart :)

The tiles will stay more rigid when installing if you leave the the backing on and peeling just the beginning of it off and remove gradually as you press fit. this will help alignment as well

Great vid! However if you peel off the protective layer "last" you can use a stiff scraper or squeegee to apply pressure without marring the tile under, thanks.
