hahaha yh right. i bought a7s2 in 2016, aweful af but all the videographers always talks about MF while shooting video. but now, i feel so happy with zv e1 and its good enough.
@@HeeGeonKang In 2016, the a7sii was great because of the slog3, cine4 and especially internal 4K. Autofocus was just good enough as long as the subject was not running or so. Today, i still use my a7sii as my C-cam and still happy with it. But mang, today too many people are inconsiderate because they never went through what you and I did back in 2016. I would have love to have this tech back then because my money would have been even well spent.
@@harryvuemedia5106 True, but isn't that the same for every kind of new technology? New computers from today also beat those from 2016 by far. And 8 years from now in 2032, the ZV-E1 will be outdated, and maybe we'll have 1000-1500$ cameras with much better specs than the ZV-E1
ive had it for a year. I was gonna sell for a6700.... But it doesn't have Dynamic Stabilization. DS, AI framing, and Skin Face smoothing. this is the only cam that has those 3 features. I can't sell.
I currently own the ZV-E10, a6700. After watching this video, I am seriously considering purchasing my first full frame camera………the ZV-E1. Although there are better ones out there, I find the ZV-E1 goes really well with my workflow, plus, you simply cannot beat the Dynamic Stabilization. Pair this with a Sony 16-35 F4 PZ, your favorite nd filter(s), a damn good shotgun mic, and you got yourself a beast of a setup. Great video and keep them coming, my man. 🍻
Thanks man! Just make sure overheating is not a problem for you. This summer I've had my camera overheat in several occasions, it is when I use Creators App to monitor recording that it happens. Might have to buy an external fan if this continues.
To get started?! Not really. Beginners should start with simpler options, they wouldnt extract the best of 10 bit 4.2.2 or even slog3, but hell yeah its an amazing camera. I have it. I upgraded from a7iii. And im a professional
I also "upgraded" from A7iii. Definitely, Slog-3 is not for beginners. But it's not a bad idea to have the option rather than having to upgrade after a year or two.
Hi from Malaysia, i am interested what lens do you use for your filmaking? For cinetone do you have custom setting in picture profile? Love you video anyway.
Hey there. The lense I use the most for filmmaking is 35mm GM, but any 35mm will do. Also got the 24mm GM but use it less often. For cinetone I just use the default picture profile that came with the camera, I believe it is PP11. Thanks a lot!
@@josealcoy I had the A7IV, nice camera but with the release of the A7R5, the A74 suddenly got old, very old. I liked it. There was one problem, the a6700 I bought earlier is a far better camera than the A74. Really. The ZV-E1 is also an incredible camera, chock full of a7R5 and A7SIII features. I love to use it for video and stills. Even the 12mp sensor makes great still images. Like the a6700, I call it the magic camera.
please tell your audience, you can´even livestreaming, even with battery dummy for longer than 45min with the ZV-E1 then its shuts off cause overheating This cam is a disaster.
Liked and subscribed! Love these length videos that describe what an everyday person can do with a powerhouse camera. Image looks awesome as well.
Thanks!
You guys are lucky to have the ZV-E1 in today's time. Back in 2016, all we had was the a7Sii which was revolutionary for its time.
Totally agree. Great time to get started in filmmaking. Even phones are a good place to start these days 🙃

You convinced me on the sony zv-e1. And made me laugh 😆

Thanks for the video! Keep going man. Cheers!
Thanks! Will do 😁
bu bir profesyonel kamera ve çok iyi fiyat. bazı özellikler dışında, fx3 ve a7sııı ile aynı
Indeed! But not a professional camera, it overheats quite easily when using Creators App
the ZV-E1 rules!
This small camera packs a big punch :-)

Why not the a7iv ??
That's a good question. ZV-E1 was cheaper, smaller and neewer technology. But sometimes I regret not having bought the A7IV 🤦♂️

Sorry to hear man. That sucks. Did you try an external fan? For what I have seen it does the trick. Ulanzi produces one.
External fan are the solution
