    The “less” good are honestly minor things and not an issue for me but I had to nitpick something. Let me know if you have any questions!

    So glad to see that you joined team Sony 👊 I think my biggest problem would be the small size of the camera, simply because my ego couldn't handle it 😂 I heard that the A1 II is a new affordable option 🙃

      It’s not the size, it’s how you use it 😂 I’ll show you it’s magic once we link up in Europe again!
      I have to see if I can borrow the A1 II from Sony one day or rent it, just because I’m curious about the flagship 😅

    Switch from Canon R5, got A7R5 and ZV-e1 now and never regrets. One intersting thing is other than video quality zv-e1 gave me, I really love its photo quality. Not only for low light performance, it always give me suprise after I processed it in lightroom. 12 Megapixel really no a problem for me. BTW, love your video and please continue to share more with us ❤

      I've been surprised by the 12MP photos too, especially the JPEGs with the creative looks but I will say that I miss more MP to crop in and just have a bit more resolution at times - for most of what I do it doesn't matter but I can feel it a bit... With the A7R5 you have all the resolution you could need though, so it sounds like a killer combo!
      Thank you for your kind feedback!

    I went from a ZV1F that lowkey did what I needed it to do without overheating to a ZVE10 II that overheated on me twice in a couple days. Once in the first 24 hours of ownership haha. I love the camera though. Just an issue I wasnt familiar with prior.

    Bro. What settings did you use for this video @8:57 and @8:30. Is it 30 fps or 24 fps? the footage looks super smooth. It looks like 60 fps 😃

    • @AlexBjorstorp
      @AlexBjorstorp  3 дні тому +1

      Some of them are 120FPS and some are 60FPS 😄 And slowed down to 30FPS - I export everything for 30 🙌🏻

    Would you recommend the FX3, Zv-e1, or the Canon R5 Mark 2 for travel, family, and document/short film content? Keep up the good work

    • @AlexBjorstorp
      @AlexBjorstorp  2 місяці тому +1

      If you need photography then the R5 MK II if those are the only options but I would definitely take a look at Sony’s other cameras like the A7IV but I don’t know those models very well just that they are great hybrids too.
      If photography is not a must, then the FX3 if you need to run long recording sessions like documentaries and otherwise the ZV-E1 will most likely get the job done very well for just travel & family stuff. Hope that helps - always a tough question to answer 😅

      I have the zv-e1 and r5ii (I'd use both for travel), but one important question is that if you want to go traveling with it, what lens would you bring. Canon RF mount FF lenses are quite few, and even so, they are usually on the bigger side (besides some of the primes). For some of the older RF lenses, there is even autofocus noise that can be caught in the video if using onboard mics. I've been quite sad with their lens choices. Sony on the other hand has great lens choices of all sizes for travel, and I'd even consider recommending an a7cii or a7cr. The main zv-e1 benefits to me (which are amaazinggg) are the 12800 2nd base ISO, and the dynamic active stabilization (1.3x crop) which is quite smooth. My r5ii video quality still has lacking stabilization and warpy corners despite it being 8k 60p RAW. If given the choice to restart my kit from fresh, I'd prob pair a zv-e1 with a7cr for both 4k 60p video and high MP stills. a7cr with 1.2x crop with 4k60p plus 61MP stills and zv-e1 with 1.3x crop and awesome stabilization.

    👍
    I also find that active stab and even moreso dynamic active footage looks a bit weird and unnatural.
    If someone is filming while walking or jogging around I guess it would still look better than handheld with no stabilization at all I guess, but to get actual smooth and good looking movement it still doesn't come even close to a gimbal, imo. Also it crops the footage quite a bit so you lose on image quality as well.
    Overheating is a small "issue" only when I want to do a lot of 4k/120fps in a row. Forces to take a break and let it cool down at some point, but really not that big of a deal to be honest, considering everything else this camera offers on such a small and light form factor.
    Hopefully the longevity holds up in the long run

    • @AlexBjorstorp
      @AlexBjorstorp  Місяць тому +2

      I guess there are limitations to how good stabilisation can be, at least for now - but luckily not the end of the world and I think you're right all the way through!
      The overheating is definitely only an issue if you require very long recording sessions or shoot a ton of 120fps but I've personally already gone back to 60fps again as I don't need it to be that slow for what I do.
      I think this camera will do well for many many years with what it can do now!

    When you say zebra 2, is it lower limit or standard?

    • @AlexBjorstorp
      @AlexBjorstorp  21 день тому +1

      Often it’s called Zebra 2 or C2 on the camera depending on the brand but it’s the one with the lower limit 😊

    Still learning videography, how do you get the aerial shots with this camera what kind of drone is best?

    • @AlexBjorstorp
      @AlexBjorstorp  Місяць тому

      I wouldn't attach the ZV-E1 to a drone unless you're a professional FVP pilot and I know very little about FPV. For regular consumer drones the Mini, Air or Mavic series from DJI are all great options depending on where you want to fly and what kind of work you want to create :-)

    Not bad but I like the new offering from the Nikon Z50ii.

    • @AlexBjorstorp
      @AlexBjorstorp  2 місяці тому

      That's fair! I've personally never liked Nikon mostly because of their design but we all have our own taste and Nikon makes great cameras too! The Nikon Z50ii (just looked it up) has an APS-C sensor though, and I can't go back from Full-Frame. I know the Z-Series from Nikon are mostly great as well though, so no hate on them :-)

    Which lens do you recommend? I have a A7 III with 85,35 and 25-70. do I need more for vlogging ?

    • @AlexBjorstorp
      @AlexBjorstorp  2 місяці тому +1

      I've recently realised that it really depends on your style and preference of shooting, so it's very subjective.
      I personally don't like the wide-angle look because I find it too distorted and things to appear too small in the frame when they're further away. I'm much more of a telephoto guy, so I mostly shoot at 30mm+.
      So, for me the 24-70 is fine for vlogging but I also have quite long arms, so I can hold it at a decent distance and still have enough in the frame. An alternative is using a mini tripod to get it a bit further away.
      I have considered getting a 16mm prime at times but I know I won't be using it because of the hassle switching to another lens when I'm not talking to the camera. So the 24-70 is as low as I'll most likely go.
      I hope that makes sense! It sounds like you got a pretty good setup already, the only thing I would miss in your kit is a longer telephoto, something like a 70-200 or 100-400 but again that's heavily biased as that's some of my absolute favourite lenses.
      Hope that helps!

    The stabilisation is Not so good, because I don‘t use Dynamic activ Stabilisation…🤔😎

    • @AlexBjorstorp
      @AlexBjorstorp  2 місяці тому

      The active and dynamic is even worse with the jerky footage, was what I tried to say - that’s why I don’t use those modes at all 😄 The lowest setting does it least and is fixable in post most of the time 😊
