Until 2 weeks ago the last AppleProdct owned was a USED AppleII in 1982. The M4 Mac Mini blows my 4 year old ASUS Laptop out of the water fo video editing w/ Davinci Studio. It's the GD operating system I have Problems with. At 81 New things don't come easily any more, But I'll persevere. Just gota quit watching these M4 Mac Mini Tatorield and Learn the Apple CRAP. OH added a Thunderbolt 4 External Drive w/ 2TB Samsung 990 EVO.
Sure, the Mac Mini is a powerful machine, coming from old windows laptop like me you will certainly be satisfied. Enjoy it!
What about 3d editing in after effect ? and if you are not a after effect person than what's your experience on fusion with so many nodes ?
Hi, my edits are pretty basic so don't use fusion. Still have to test Dehancer pluguin to see how it copes.
What about Blender?
I have no experience with Blender 🙃
I order a 24Gb ram for based model and buy a ssd box for more storage
Nice. Have fun with it!
I love the beginning sequence with your daughter! hahaha
It was a lot of fun! 😝
😊
👍
Manzanita forever!!!!!!!
😁
Muy bueno!
Thanks, love 😘
what lens do you recommend with this camera?
Hello there, if you mainly do vlogging I would probably go with the 24mm, or even 20mm 1.8.
Great video, thank you
Thanks for watching!
Your setup and editing seem pretty good. I hope you go far.
Thanks so much, Shane! Means a lot! 😊
Sign up for my newsletter on content creation: josealcoy.kit.com/ It turns out the base ISO for S-Cinetone is 100 and 2000. I should have stuck to ISO 100 when demonstrating the app! 🙃
I decided for the a7cii and now look at the zv e1 😂
Have both - underrated duo for sure
Haha, the grass always looks greener on the other side
Lucky you!
@@martzallmedia would you say the low light capabilities and overall video quality is much better on the zve1?
@@LS-is5ob no I wouldn’t. the zve1 offers 4k60 uncropped and 4k 120, and better rolling shutter. The 4k 24 on the a7cii is sharper as it’s down sampled from 7k. Zve1 is a 1:1 4k readout. I haven’t had the a7cii overheat on me, zve1 will overheat if your on sticks for a longer shoot. Honestly I grab the a7cii a lot more (if I know I’m not needing high fps video.) Really trying to not sell the zve1 for the fx3 but probably will. A7cii is a highly underrated and capable camera. The additional Sony grip for the a7cii and a7cr is underrated and changes the feel of the camera. You can take it off and put a small lens on it and now have a small edc. Or rig it out. A7cii is much more versatile in my opinion.
no way you are shooting below native iso. It ruins the dynamic range
I use respect dual ISO when recording in S-LOG3 but in this case I used S-Cinetone, do I need to stick to the native ISO in this case too?
@@josealcoy i dont see any reason to scinetone over slog3. stick to the native iso and use nd for exposure for lowest noise and highest dynamic range
@@SSimon I see your point, but for quick talking head videos like this one S-Cinetone is a huge time saver, with a few tweaks the video is ready to publish, S-Log is an overkill if you are not going to spend any time color grading, it also makes shooting more complicated
@@josealcoy there is no need for colorgrading. Just overexpose and apply leeminglut and you are good to go.
Hi, great video thanks -- the newsletter link doesn't seem to be in the description? Interested in knowing which platform you use for your newsletter - either way, thanks!
Link added. Thanks for letting me know! I use kit.com for my newsletter, I got my own domain for it as otherwise it ends up in Spam folder :-)
@@josealcoy Brilliant - thanks for the swift kind reply, that's really helpful
I agree that UA-cam is probably the only relatively decent of the social media bunch. And the interactions with people can be meaningful. Partly because you have some control over what you want to watch, and partly because people usually need to watch at least 30 seconds of the video to decide if they swipe it out or get into it.
Totally agree, some people go deep with their comments, I have learned a lot from good intentioned advice from viewers that helped me improve my audio and other aspects. Thanks for the watch!
What about the fx3
If they release an FX3 II or A7sIV next year that will be tempting for sure, but it is also a different budget 😁
Has de pasarte a Nikon!!!!! ;)
Diles que me dejen una cámara estas Navidades y hago una review ;-p
@josealcoy eso está hecho

Lo tuyo es competencia desleal :-p
Great job. Very nice.
Thank you very much!
ive had it for a year. I was gonna sell for a6700.... But it doesn't have Dynamic Stabilization. DS, AI framing, and Skin Face smoothing. this is the only cam that has those 3 features. I can't sell.
It's a keeper!
That’s what I call attention to detail!!
Borderline obsessive :-)

Thanks!
Bro your set and lighting looks incredible. I just picked up the DJI mic 2 and have already used it on 2 commercial shoots. It’s fantastic
Thanks man, I will soon release a video on my studio setup. Enjoy those mics!
It's been 3 months since I left Insta, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. I love it.😅
I can't recommend it enough! Thanks

Thanks! Good luck with your videos :-)
Def agree, Sigma 85mm 1.4 DN Art and Sony 24 and 35mm GM
What a combo! ;-)

Thanks for your info. I always try to support "smaller" channels. And videos and views say nothing about the content. You are the example of that!
I appreciate that!

Thanx for the advices , wish you a good journy you and your G friend. Gracias, amigo.
Same to you!
How much would outsourcing editing cost? Would it still be profitable?
I think at least $75 per video if outsourced overseas, depending on how much work it entails. I’m not making money from UA-cam, so it would be an investment to save time and grow the channel.
My choice is FE 20 mm f1.8 GM FE 50 mm f1.2 GM Sigma 85 mm 1.4 DG DN ART FE 70 200 f2.8 GM ii On my sony A7IV ❤ On canon side RF 15 35 f2.8 RF 50 1.2 RF 85 1.2 RF 70 200 f2.8 With R5 but it too pricy 😢

great video quality, i would lower the music though.
