Hey there, I've been watching several reviews about M17, but your review is the only one I feel that focus on things that really matters like the usabilities. No matter how many followers the other youtubers have, as long as they're saying things like 'oh it has a android OS so its UX should be fine', they're not providing any value this community... I think the real value comes from the passion of the product itselft, not anything else. Thaks for this sharing
I have a m17 I would like to transfer my iTunes library the m17 how can I do this. The manual says that the Fiio music app should recognize iTunes and import the library but i can’t seem to get it to do that
Hi Nate @StormCity Audio and everybody else - I need some advise. But first thank you for a no fuss review. Right guys, my on the go set up is a Fiio M11 and a pair of FA7 iem's. I use these on a daily basis during my walk and is normally tucked in my jean or jacket pocket for anything up to 2 to 3 hours at a time. At home I have an old duet (which I may replace soon with a Fiio K9 pro) and a pair of Adams 7 monitors for my set up. So as you can see I am serious about my music. That said, can anyone tell me if the M17 is portable and can it used and housed as previously mentioned, Will it perhaps overheat over such length of time and usage? Basicly will be as practical as the M11 and should I also replace the FA7's with anything else (I do not want anything that is over the ear)? I don't mind even buying lets say a seperate belt pouche.. I hope you all get the idea and I look forward to any suggestions, because it looks a like a great unit but is it practical? Perhaps you can let me know of your experince!
@@stormcityaudio5931 lighting is good period , it feels cozy, it creates a mood that you are talking with passion and honesty you need to copy every one and make like a 50000 softbox setup if your face can be seen properly and the rolls are good it is fine, you look serious in it and come out as someone who knows what he is talking about
@@stormcityaudio5931 Thanks for the your answer. actually I'm a IEMs user not headphone. When I tested two DAP which I have, I felt that the M17 DC mode has better sound stage and dynamics then N8II. but N8II has more natural sound and vocal was fantastic. I really enjoyed your review by the youtube and thanks again for your answer.
@@mikylenaidoo1779 less noise and sounds better in every way. It's more musical. 4 times the power. You pay a huge premium for the screen of m17. The screen generates a lot of heat so the components have to cool the screen.
@@nellatl that's Interesting , I wasn't aware that the idsd signature puts out more than 12watts of power( 4 X 3w-- since the m17 puts out 3watts and even more in DC mode) ... I always thought the idsd signature had a maximum of 4 watts output. Anyway thanks for your thoughts.

Good video, but mate, those 4 jacks are outputs not inputs...
Really love your content♥️...but please sort out the production, some good lighting and the microphone is for some reason too quiet...🙏🙋♂️✌️
Thanks for the video upload, very informative.... (lighting?). Thanks
Thank you

I wonder that What is your opinion? Which is better between N8II and M17?
N8ii for IEMs.
M17 if you are mostly a headphone user and need something portable on the go.

Overall FiiO M17 or ibasso dx300 in sound enjoyment?
they both at same level and oppositing w each other
Hi guys...does this m17 lasting? Or the sound quality drop after sometime.
....why should it drop?
I have a Alienware Area 51m r2.
I have ifi idsd signature. Less than half the price and blows this away.
In what ways do you feel it's better than the m17 ? I'm deciding whether to change my m17 or not.

Check your audio. Can barely hear anything
It’s a ridiculous size. You would need a belt to hold up your pants while carrying it in your pockets.
It's just too much!!
