what you have there is a prostrate rosemary that has a growth that goes sideways instead of up. This cultivar is great for hanging baskets or over a ledge.
Thanks for this video! It was really helpful as I was intimidated at first to prune mine. In the video you mentioned doing a transplant one as well but I can’t seem to find it on your channel. Did you ever do a transplant video? Thanks!!
You can only prune down to just above the green growth. If you cut all the green off, that branch is done. In that case, cut it off as far down as you can, because it won't leaf out anymore.
Green Thumb Gardener I’m excited to say that it’s a long list this year! I’ve written a blog post that includes all my fruits and vegetables, but still working to get all my herbs and medicinal flowers planted. Here’s the link if you’d like to check out the post: www.thetannehillhomestead.com/what-im-growing-in-my-2020-garden-fruit-vegetable-edition/ 😊

Great tip thank u
Is there a certain time of year that's best to do this?
I usually do it in the early spring, but you could do it before it gets cold. Just make sure it has enough time before it freezes
