Honestly, the best tip is manage your cubes as F2P It takes 400 cubes and 350k gold to pity a UR. You can earn somewhere between 50-80 cubes a week depending on level, access and grind. You can farm gold very easily 1-2 weeks before the event in the oil efficient worlds. On avg you'll spend 200 cubes and 125k gold to sweep a banner. At some point, make this decision. Don't pull on reruns and don't pull in the standard banner except for your 1 light build a day. Your goal is to maintain 400 cubes so you can SWEEP all the NEW banners. You'll get the ships in the standard banner as you pull on event banners, or they'll be moved to requisition, medal shop, archives etc. The goal is to sweep everything new as you catch up to the reruns letting you stockpile the heck outa cubes. I've been sweeping banners since Shimakaze was released and haven't missed a UR as a F2P. I missed 2 gold ships that absolutely wouldn't drop after spending way more than 500 cubes on em. But they'll come back in the future. The game is a LOT more fun when you get all the ships and be tempted by the best skins.
Started a month or so ago. Your guide was useful. There is one thing i would like to add. When getting commissions for gems, manually select shipgirls that are above the level requirement. I didn't get gems the first couple of times i used the auto option, but been getting them consistently ever since i started to pick the shipgirls manually. Might also be a good idea to comment on where you could repeat campaign to farm for commissions to get the gems
I've been playing for almost 3 years daily now; good job, I think this pretty much covers the "must"s. The only extra ships I would've maybe brought up for early players would be Queen Elizabeth and (particularly) Bismarck as both are now permanently available faction buffers- QE from a couple maps and one of the shops, and Bismarck from Scherzo's final map as both a drop and 60 run pity. Nachi Retrofit is another one, as another UA-camr (can't remember who) compared her to Portland Retrofit and (in his opinion) Nachi is better, only that Nachi is not as easily accessible as Portland (who is given to new players anyway) and is only a slight upgrade, but would still be a good option if planning an early all-Sakura fleet with Nagato, a carrier pair, Nachi, and 2 others- perhaps Ayanami or Yuudachi. Bringing up Air Raid Assistance ships might have been useful for CV comps, but I suppose this was only for beginners anyway, and ARA is more of a Ch 12/13 speciality (not that I ever prioritised it myself). Nice work. For my own context, I've haven't survived 13-3 Hard or 15-1 yet, but I'm playing with historical equipment fit only, so I'm levelling up Perma Stats, Laffey and Guam before I run it again.
Queen Elizabeth is a good recommendation, also just to clarify Bismarck is not the B3/D3 ship of Scherzo, King George V is. But Bismark is available in the monthly medal shop. Thank you for the additions and good luck with your historical gear challenge
KimoCheese is the one who recommended Nachi, I believe. The problem is, by the time one gets Nachi, other options become available (Noshiro, for one) while retrofit plans start to be needed for PR research. That was my experience, anyway (started a few months ago)
biloxi is in the shop and triggers independence. fletcher turns up early and stays useful through high levels because she goes from low end fletcher class with the beavers which you need for charles ausburne, to high end with sr ausburne and nicholas and ur halford. if you need an early u boat select 410 from the permanent events. ranger also turns up early and can out damage enterprise occasionally. prince of wales is important if you're an eagle union main as eagle union battleships can struggle against certain enemy types that wales will cover.

I have a little bit of a complicated question in regards to the wiki and War Archives. I have a Kii that's level 70. It says that she can be farmed on (B3, D3) or as a guarantee after 60x D3. The map is listed as T1-T6 and HT1-HT6 though. When I launch the archive it says she can be obtained from 60x HT6. Okay, so my question is, can she be farmed on the other stages? Because there's conflicting info with what's on the wiki and what the stages are actually labeled. I noticed the link that brings you to the event lists she is droppable on T6, HT6, SP(boss node only), but I don't know if that's still the case. I am just getting a couple fleets to about 100 so I would like to avoid using a bulin if I can farm for a copy of the ship. I also have Noshiro from a pull, but her info seems to be correct on the wiki. Sorry for the novel, but it was rather complicated to explain. Also, it appears that getting 3 stars on those stages yield no rewards. Is that correct?
Kii will only drop from T6 or HT6 with HT6 having the 60 run pity. On Kii's page it appears whoever did it forgot that Dreamwalker's Butterfly has a slightly different stage numbering than normal And the SP stage and 3 star rewards are limited to when the event was going on.

@witzuro3083 Gear in this game is unique compared to others. Sometimes what might be overlooked as trash gear can be amazing depending on the ships skills or fight ahead, cuz that gear gives you the projectile spread, reload speed, range, damage modifiers, etc. that you need.
@@ViJt-oq5nq Also, Iron Blood quad magnetic torps. You can also get those from tech boxes, but that's RNG.
Hello, I'm new. Do I actually even need to farm stages for gear (building a second team so I can farm longer) or do I just over level my main team and take that all the way to campaign 10?
Hi. Actually, you need 2+ fleets for campaign. Start with one fleet, lvl up your fleet then go for second. Most gun are locked in gear lab(60+ lvl op siren). Just put your high rarity on ships and dont mind. And also you can farm, but i prefer farm event stages cuz more drop and exp from sirens.
For farm you need 1:1 set up for lower oil consum and safe zone on stage.
Except high lvl enemy
does roon muse contribute towards iron blood tech? I have read conflicting info. ty btw
Apologies she does not contribute tech points
@@Gunnar002additional questions: does she count as iron blood for exp farm research?
@@abrahamwijaya6631 yes, the muse ships do count towards the PR exp requirements for their respective factions.

@@loveawesomeheart2812 if they have been sent out on a commission then they can't be added to a team. I would check that
