    Notes:
    1. When I say "cooldown with realistic reload stats" as opposed to the gun's base cooldown, the base cooldown of a gun is at 100 reload. Under 100 reload, the cooldown of the gun would be longer than what is listed on the wiki, and above 100 reload, the cooldown would be shorter. High level ships will generally have well over 100 reload as well as reload buffs on top.
    2. At 20:23, I say guns with base cooldowns of 20 seconds, but meant base cooldowns of around 24 seconds and real cooldowns of around 20 seconds.
    3. At 26:09, the radius of the circle should be 7.5, but I made a mistake and wrote 8.

    I have ADHD and too much data fried my brain, so for those who suffer with me here In short :
    0. Change your mindset that purple equipment is shit. ITS NOT (sometimes)
    1. Thicc enemy use AP (Especially 406 mle 1938 protoype. IF rich use 457mm rainbow)
    2. many many enemy use HE (Especially 406mm 16''/45 Mk6 )
    3. IF battleship have skill ["Release barrage upon shot"] use faster gun
    4. IF battleship have skill ["Barrage every X second"] use beeg pepega dmg gun
    5. IF you poor, use 406mm (1938 Protoytype)
    6. IF you have debuffer like Helena . Use 20sec reload guns
    7. Two barrel gun have better accuracy than 3 barrel gun ( Some exception if the ship have [reduce spread] or [ accuracy ] buff)

    I knew the Champagne gun was good, but I didn't realize just how much it had going for it vs the similar options. That alone helps me out a lot.

    Maybe worth a mention is that the Mk4 and Flandre guns have a use when syncing for timing when you want to make one ship fire before another to trigger debuffs. Soyuz, Vanguard, Duke of York for example. You can use one of these guns and put HPFCRs or dual shells on all three BBs in the fleet.

    thank you :) !! Actualy made me understand the 3 salvo and now understand why Flandre better than Clemenceau. Cause Clemenceau only have 2 main gun. good to understand all of those gun good side too !! make easy to know where to invest !

    Do burns scale off the base gun damage or the base damage times the coefficient?

    Are you planning doing cruiser/destroyer gun as well? I see some HE gun have higher armor mod compare to AP one. Is it better to ignore the dmg type and just use gun with high dmg/armor mod.

    Sorry if this was mentioned, but do you have estimate of how much damage burns from HE guns contribute to total dmg? So for example in a medium/heavy boss fleet, do burns do enough damage to warrant giving one ship a MK7 or should I just give them all AP guns? Maybe on Alsace with her preloaded salvo so the burn gets applied at the start of the fight?

      Exact formula is on the damage calculations page, but since burn damage doesn't scale off crit or flat damage buff/debuffs I believe it's better to just stack up on AP these days

    Thanks for all the info.
    Can the Yamato gun be used to boost the damage of cross fleet barrages?
    Thinking of when you farm XP on low level ships, the other fleet will not be actively fighting, so the very low reload doesn't matter.

      Barrages scale with FP, not gun damage. So the only boost yamatogun gives barrages is 20 FP over gold guns.

    Paid question: (you can do this on a UR copy for 1 enhanced/1 unenhanced).
    what do you think about a 0-reload enhanced ship(so only enhance a bb's firepower stat by feeding specific ships only and avoiding reload entirely) so that you can use the twin 457mm UR gun with helena's scan?
    Fair warning that I do not know exactly how much reload a lvl125 ship would have with 0 enhancements(since nobody does that), but with a base reload of 121(calc'd linearly for Alsace's base 64 which is probably highly incorrect):
    [0 reload in fleet tech+enhancements would let you fire the 457mm at 19.74s.
    with musashi's base reload of 57, i just did calcs at 121-7=114 which fires at 20.06s, though it's definitely inaccurate because alsace's lvl125 stat of 177- musashi's lvl125 stat of 156 = 21 reload diff which is 7x3, but I did not want to do 121-21(which would let you get this 20s timing even with max fleet tech) since I don't even know if my 121 figure is correct in the first place(no level 125 non-enhanced).

      There's no point since 457 deals less damage than Champagne gun per salvo. It's only when you factor in its lower cooldown that it has the chance to be stronger.

      @@JimmyAL Oh you're right, dang. Didn't realize that the 406/50 had both higher damage and a higher coef. Maybe it'll be useful in the future when we get more powercreep

    Any takes on most optimal BB bossing fleet + vanguards with so many options nowadays? Alsace seems to promote Brest or Mogador which also influence vanguard slots. Maybe a vid would be cool.

      No such thing as optimal since different ships bring different things, for example Bismarck is irreplaceable when you need the black hole, Soyuz if you need a slow, or at times you might want to run Implacable for her root and then you can't even fit 3 BBs and so on

    With the current BB meta trying to move away from Helena dependency with many of the new buffers having barrage dependent buffs or straight up 100% up time can the benefits of using helena synced champy gun still out weigh the additional salvo you can usually get in most battles with the 457 mka?

      It's not common that you can guarantee an extra salvo with 457 and BB/CV mixed fleets where 457 is not great are often better than strictly BB fleets

      @@JimmyAL I agree that mixed fleets are better for general content like campaign and opsi farming but for boss killing purposes like arbiters, meta fights or even monthly challenges, pure fleets are more worthwhile. And you can definitely eke out an additional salvo in these fights with the 457, especially when running fire control radar

      @@dreadfulman5191 Arbiters tend to have some annoying anti-shelling skill so usually the more carriers you run the better, and Implacable is pretty much irreplaceable for Challenge modes because they're constantly moving

    sometimes i use the confeti gun with a healer BB, to keep my underleveled vanguard ships alive when farming PR Exp. i know there are better things to do, but i felt sorry for it.
    anyways i really appreciate this videos. i've been playing for 4+ years but i've only started to care about this stuff recently.

      @@Luden0906 mostly with Arizona. Honoka from VV collab also works, but she has a barrage and she can steal MVP from vanguard if procd many times.
      It's the only reason my Vestal and Arizona are lvl 125.
      If your Vanguard can heal by itself or is high leveled you may use any other BB and repair ship.

      she does not benefit a lot because it's not as accurate as the 457 and results in much fewer barrages fired over the course of an entire fight
