One thing I wish my tool chest had was soft close drawers so all of my tools don't end up at the back of the drawer when I close them.

You should look into Toolbox Widget to organize your wrenches

My tools seem to evolve outside the box. Like the gloves. I need room and so I put a box on the side for the gloves. Nut drivers on the side. screw drivers (philips and straight). Can't lock them up but I haven't had any problems but I don't put my Mac or snap-on tools outside unlocked.

Which one do you use the most, the 2” or the 3” die angle grinder, and which one do you recommend? Especially for clean up a rusty lathe or something like a restoration?

That drawer with like 30 different air tools really highlights their advantage! You can't store that many corded or even cordless tools in such a way so they seem to make sense for when one needs a crap load of tools for their job!

Nice tool setup. Thanks for the recommendation on the air fittings and the Knipex cutters.
I have some Noise cancelling Sennheiser 4.5 BTNC headphones. They mute the air compressor and don't get in the way of your safety glasses.

My main problem with air tools is the high pitched noise. I hate the idea of wearing hearing protection when using them, but in an inclosed place, you really need to. I’m 70, and I’ll tell you, don’t be a “guy” about it. You don’t want to lose your hearing. It’s not fun. I’m lucky, but I have friends who weren’t.
McMaster-Carr has all the fittings you need.

I always hang my wrenches up metric with metric etc. I always find in a drawer it takes more time to find what you need keeps work flow that much quicker

thanks for the tour, super nice box! i love air tools man you´re right about the compressor but properly maintained will outlast any current battery tool and in the long run will be cheaper. not to mention the pleasure of not worrying about overloading and burning electronics and motors ahhh. on the go i use a small welding bottle filled with air :D:D:D. thanks again. take care

Haven’t heard that one, so I might have to try it out. I just know this because my friend owns his own cabinet shop and they use it one their tracks if it starts to stick.
