I don’t know why I started watching your channel but now I’m kind of addicted. I had to come back and watch the first video to see where it all started. It almost looks like you’ve accumulated the entire tool truck through the years. It’s kinda neat to see the difference between guys that have been out of the game for a few years compared to the guys that are just started or still currently working. The amount of air tools you got compared to the younger or more current guys, everything’s battery powered now. Since watching your channel it has inspired me to start getting my stuff more organized. I’m currently setting up an old craftsman 4 drawer carry around tool box for a “90%” hand tool box. I run a welding/tree service and fix a lot of my own stuff so hand tool work good enough for me when I don’t have the welding rig on-site. I broke my chipper once and had to use a customers tools to strip it down and repair it since I didn’t have my own tools. No more of that. So thanks for making these videos.
Well hey I appreciate you watching. This first video is quite out dated and I need to make a new tour of my setup - it's changed quite a bit. Maybe in a few months I'll have to do that. The tool addiction hits HARD so be careful :)
Never heard of Toolvault up until a couple weeks ago. Looking online the specs and weight are comparable to a snap-on krl, what an awesome box and value. Man, if I could do it all again lol 🍻
Enjoyed beng watching i went from top to bottom and have been wrenching since 98 and u always can learn something new... look forward to the future... great job my man! Until the next video
Love the videos, I do cringe when people say air tools are on there way out. Not a big fan of cordless power tools. Especially knowing that batteries don't last and soon you'll see them getting hacked. I do have cordless stuff but I try to always have manual, corded, and pneumatic too.
Air tools certainly have their place. Cordless tools have just come such a long way, and their convenience is hard to beat. I will always choose a cordless tool first, but you can alway count on it’s air counterpart to meet your needs when the cordless just can hack it.
Im a big fan of electric. But i dont like frills. Give me all the beans with a variable trigger do they have thier downsides ya. But i find it easier to use elctric than air although nothing beats air for grinders cut off wheels or air hammers
Daaammmn son! Thats a stacked box! I've watched all your other tours before this one and they're extremely well done. You've cost me a lotta $ these past months! I also realize you already know the answer to most of the questions you ask, your asking for our benefit lol. Are those big foam socket sets Snap-on? Thank you for the vid👍
Thanks for watching! This one is kind of cringy for me to watch since I was so camera shy. I’ll have to do an updated video. Especially since my tool collection has grown quite a bit
@@ToolBoxTour...Not at all man, I'm like you, and I get way more excited about other people's stuff than my own! Trust me, you have a sick set up. I'm just getting into the Koken stuff myself and I absolutely love it so far. It's the first time in my life I've felt like I was under-paying for a tool! Lol
@@ToolBoxTour Also, not to 'fanboy' yah, but I think you have the best box reviews on UA-cam. Love the clear camera work and the fact that you include price and part #'s so I can more easily spend money on more tools lol. Anyhow! Keep em coming!
Thanks for watching this one. My first video ever on UA-cam. Definitely not as fun by myself. I don’t like talking about my own tools anywhere NEAR as much as I do going on tours of other peoples boxes. But I figure some people might like to see it.
I inherited my Father-in-law's tools when he passed and I am trying to figure out what a lot of his tools are. Could you possibly tell me what the red tool just to the right of the exhaust hanger remover is? He was a Diesel Mechanic and I received a Matco 6S 3 bank with hutch and cabinet full of tools along with so many other boxes and tubs of tools. Love watching the tours, I have learned alot already. I am addicted now, I just go through and clean tools and organize them.
Damn! You have a nice collection of tools. I thought you just went around and showed other people's tools and I did not know you have this type of tool collection. Very nice man, I am just getting my tool collection going, I started kind of late in life but I am getting there slowly. I will never own Snap-On or MAC tools because I do not wrench everyday for my job. Harbor Freight is good enough for what I need and do. Thanks for sharing your own tool-box with us. Where can I find that manual impact? I could of used something like that on a job last month and I never knew they existed. On a side note, have you found that the block test fluid has a shelf life? I heard it somewhere but have not confirmed it. I was going to buy the tester and the fluid but now I am holding off on the fluid until I need it just incase it does expire and messes up the test. Have you heard anything about that?
Thanks for watching! This video is a bit cringy haha. I’ll have to do an updated video soon with part numbers and such. Yes I have heard the block test fluid expires. I did a box tour from a tech in Virginia that told me that. He has the black and purple trim box in my catalog of videos 👍
I have an e-commerce business now. It’s funny how much this setup has changed even though I no longer wrench. I have added a 68” EPIQ to this and have changed how everything is organized. I’ll have make an updated video at some point. Thanks for watching!
One of the better toolbox tours I’ve seen on UA-cam. Good selection of specialty tools, …. which leads me to my question. Only thing I’ve come across are the aluminum adapters for lip seals. Just hit the 👍🏻 and subscribe. Thanks, Russ
Alot of stuff older..did u buy or dad give u there tools and add on to them with yours. I'm quite impressed..think u actually have more tools than me and iv been buying tools every week for 20 years...
I was a professional technician for 13 years. I worked on all makes/models. When you work on everything, you tend to collect more specialty tools than when you work for a dealer where you work on much of the same stuff everyday. I bought a lot of the tools I have second hand, so it wasn’t as painful 😅. Thanks for watching!
I think if I was to enter the trade I would just drop like $20k and buy one of those huge boxes and fill it with all the best …. Every tool made by one of the quality tool companies like snap on or Mac

They are fantastic for the money. Since they are box end, they are plenty strong for anything I need them for. One negative is they are a sharp square handle design so when you apply a good amount of pressure to the wrench, it can be uncomfortable. I only noticed this once tho - I would buy them again. Thanks for watching!
Yeah I believe they are made by the same manufacturer. I’ve had mine for 7 or 8 years and I absolutely love it. I used it professionally every day for about 3 years and have absolutely no complaints.
heavily debating between the tool vault and snap on 54" master series. would you say the quality is pretty on par? buddy at my job has a snap on and this thing even loaded up rolls easily and handles weight nice. just wonder why the tool vault is so cheap in comparison
So I would compare the Toolvault to a Matco box. I have a Snap-on EPIQ and this Toolvault. I would say the Snap-on is better built and more refined. With that said, I only bought the Snap-on since it was used and a good deal. If I could go back to when I originally bought my Toolvault, I would do it again in a heart beat. For the price, I don’t think they can be beat. VERY stout boxes and I have never heard of anyone regretting the purchase of one. I recommend them every chance I get!
