Excellent video. Lots of information without a single word. What you show is that there are lots of little tools that we accumulate over the years that work for us and there are some that are simple but their value during the job can be priceless. Good job as usual.

Aaron, just curious, what do you use the pressure and boost gauge for? Also, where did you get your tube notcher? I am looking to buy one. I have 99% of this stuff, so now I have no excuse. I need a lot more seat time. Excellent video, love the channel. If anyone likes this video you should subscribe to Aaron’s channel, it’s worth it.

Pressure/leak testing parts. Intercoolers, fuel cells, water manifold, etc.
The notcher is about 10 yrs old. I can't remember where I purchased it, sorry. I'm pretty sure it's discontinued.

Love it. I don't do much aluminum, but steel yeah, plenty. I've found you can never have enough layout/marking/measuring tools, and good layouts can make all the difference. I've got 8 different squares, clamping jigs, silverstreak pens, carbide scribes, 10 different rulers from 6" to 48", protractors, angle finders, punches... The list goes on and on... You definitely have a few new tricks here that I'll be trying as I teach myself TIG and get more ambitious. Keep up the awesome vids!

I purchased my used Miller 225 AC/DC Thunderbolt from someone who worked on 18 wheelers- came with about 80’ of 6/3 cable rated at 600v. It’s about 7/8” diameter and has worked great for welding around the shop and area out front. Plugs I installed I purchased online but NEMA rated for 50amps is what you’ll most likely want- and I made sure everything I used was 50amp rated. Google an “wire amperage chart” and see how long the cable can be to carry 50 amps- that will tell you what AWG cable to buy.
