It is a cake with structure so AP flour is the best to use …. Cake flour would not give you the desired result because it’s not a cake meant to be sponge like

i have never had a reason to preserve my cake for up to a month...but i am 100% certain it can do 3weeks and remain intact and most likely 1month.... in the freezer please, with constant electricity

Yes you can use margarine but leave out the salt so you don’t end up with a salty cake
