looks like you still struggle with Black Beard algae like me. Attacks some tanks but not all. Anything new in your "toolbox" to deal with BBA? I have tried hydrogen peroxide for a couple of minutes on my anubias- but it destroyed them, roots and leaves. Now I am trying Excel sprayed on the roots (90 seconds), while cutting back the leaves of the anubias. All my soaks and sprays are done after removal of the anubias.
It's been a good while since I last watched your videos, as I had some major health issues & I landed in the hosp, for 5 mons last year, I've been recovering from all I went through with my health this year & just now getting back with all my fish friends, I'm sorry about butterbeans :>{ but from the looks of the fish room, it's looking really awesome, keep up the good work.
@@DanHiteshew-oneandonly It's getting better being I lost 3 of my best dogs about 2 mons ago just as I was getting ready to move back into my cabin, now it's just not the same without them.
Hey Dan I got a panda oranda only had her a few weeks and she has developed this sore on her under carriage like a flesh red sore . Like ulcer. I just treated it with methylene blue Then I rememberd. Didn’t you have a prob with your oranda ? I got told oranda are tricky to keep But I’m new to keeping fancy varieties , I will be very sad is she doesn’t make it.
@@DanHiteshew-oneandonly thanks I’m on day one of salt and the blue . She seems to have an ulcer Near her vent this round red ulcer , I read they can be difficult to keep but I didn’t think this difficult . She’s an absolutely stunning fish. I’m annoyed though as In the Uk you can’t but antibiotics over the counter. Yes I read the wens can be troublesome to infection . She’s only young. I’m wondering if the inbreeding makes them very very hard to keep at all. Sorry yours didn’t make it I remember seeing a vid that yours had an issue but I didn’t know it died .
Hi It is my first time buying aquarium and I already added many fish on the third day. I added about 20 malawi fish in a 240 liter aquarium. The fish are rubbing their skin on the sand and stones. I didn’t know that I had to wait until the biological cycle is done. Now, I am on the 7th day. What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks
Thanks for the update
I like the new shrimp tank 😁
Hi Friend! Thank you and have a happy day!
Everything looks good. R.I.P ButterBean
Thanks for sharing
I love the scape in this tank! 11:55
Great job and Fantastic narration as always Thanks from Omaha Nebraska
So sad no Butterbean! He is definitely missed!
The non-oranda is a Ryukin, I believe
Lovely tanks
again, RIP Butterbean. That anubias, though. From that molten stub of rhizome when that tank was brackish to that healthy lush specimen.

How many gallons is the indoor koi/goldfish pond?
A little more than 200.

Keep the ammonia as low as you can with water changes. You can add ammonia blockers to the water too.
