Just got mine. Easy install and sounds great. No codes or issues. Feels slightly more responsive. It might not be as good as the new prl but it looks much better so im happy with it
@@jaylonsorrells5139 it does get hot at low speeds especially in traffic. The prl would be better in that category. No issues at all it still drives the same as stock n i didnt feel any gain or loss in power. It sounds great tho i really like it. Install was easy.
@@ivancisneros6383 The PRL intake offers the best gains because it is fully enclosed and protects from heat soaking better than the K&N and PRL short ram. The negative is that you lose some sound because of the enclosed box. I ended up with PRL because I live in a hotter climate and wanted to fend off as much heat soak as possible. The PRL HVI does increase sound but not as Loud as an short ram. I did feel a noticeable gain in power and responsiveness though. And turbo sounds are definitely louder.
great video! just a tip for the future, i would invest in a tripod so we as the viewers can get a little more of a point of view and only take the camera closer to show specifics. also theres a lot of great editing software thats free so you can cut out mistakes if you want! thanks for the video. be easy!
Have you noticed a faint high pitched rattle at low speeds or while decelerating? I didn’t notice anything before installing the CAI, and everything on the CAI is righted down. Curious if this is something you’ve noticed?
hey cant get the air fresh filter factory to come off the oem filter any suggestions? seeing that you and the instructions say to put it back in, ive been runnin no factory air fresh for like 6 months but now saying a vacuum leak so im guessing if i put it back it should help but cant seem to get it off the oem intake

Great channel dude. Car sounds fuckin awesome. What kind of body mods as far as the lip and skirts did you install and did you do that yourself as well? Just got my intake from K&N in today for my 2023 Civic Sport. Bout to get under the hood now!!!
Looking at buying this tonight for my blazing orange pearl SI, just wanted to confirm no codes or anything with the K&N intake? I’ve been waiting forever for one of these to come out!
@@sfernandez816 I live in Canada, ordered one straight from the website after seeing your video, they ended up canceling my order due to some payment issue, problem is they took the funds from my bank account and can’t explain why the order is canceled and tell me they didn’t take any funds lol Now they won’t return my emails, very disappointed with the company! 😡
How do you get the little rubber grommet on the bottom right to come off? I tried installing my intake yesterday and I could not figure out how to get that thing to release. is it just supposed to come off easily?
I would recommend it cause also this car comes with the feature of rev match when down shifting, since your new at least that will help you out, but it’s a awesome car I legit fall in love with it more everyday. So I say it’ll be a perfect starter car
I really love this car. Its not fast but after a $500 tune its quick and plenty of fun. Handle great and has a good Bose system. Its pricey tho cuz of the dealer markups cuz its a high demand car. I just recommend getting the exact color u want. I get compliments from every age group and background lol everyone just seems to like it
You probably don't hear it spool much but you definitely will hear it when you let off the throttle and listen to the pressure release from the bypass valve
Not really, the car still good on gas I drive it everyday about 30-35 miles round trip from work and home and maybe do other things, I refill after a week and two days around there the majority of the time

Yeah ,but for some that care, the k&n is more than likely CARB legal and nothing prl makes is. Just saying to some people that matters. The stock intake more than likely flows better because it's a factory ram air intake. But hey if he likes the extra whooooosh from the turbo flutter, well it's probably a win for him. Any need for the resonator delete kit?
To be honest no the car sounds great as is, I mean I would like to put and exhaust eventually when they are in stock but as of now it’s good
No i think thats only for a true cai like the cobra

keep it bro 💪
What is the PRL bracket up near the battery?
That’s what holds part of their intercooler piping

Time to replace the clutch since it won't hold any power pass stock
As of right now it’s hold up pretty well, no slipping, but I have in mind to change the clutch soon once I go e85 and bigger turbo
@FullSpeedAuto go with the RV6 type r retro flywheel and Exedy stage 1 organic clutch kit. It will hold over 500+whp

Do you need to tune it after install or no?
You can install without a tune but it’ll be better if you did cause there you’ll unlock the full potential of it

Did you have to do the intake resonator delete with this? Going to order and would like to know before I get it
