Didn’t realize the dior apricot cuticle cream had been around for so long! It’s definitely a favorite and won’t ever be missing from my set. Didn’t know they had cuticle oil either, I’ll have to try that and perhaps the Fenty. In the shower I just can’t go past the Necessaire line. I’ve just ordered that deodorant too so I have high hopes. Hadn’t tried any of the hair treatments so there are some there for me to explore. I’d only just jumped on the Olaplex wagon (I know I’m late to the party). Kevin Murphy’s line is one I find good for hair care too. Lips, I’ve discovered I can’t go past the By Terry. Holy Moly that’s good. It’ll have to wait though as I have at least two pots of lip care I need to get through! Thanks for this one. Very informative and gives me stuff to look forward to. I don’t know if I could live without a bathtub. I have eczema and often have to soak in Aveeno Oat Bath. It’s heavenly, and such a relief for itchy skin! Great video as usual, Matilda!

The Necessaire body lotion is a bit out of my price range (🥴) but my sister got it for me as a birthday present last year and oh my lord…. I have never applied lotion more! It’s dreamy and so effective at keeping the winter dry crust at bay. Once that tube sadly ran out, I returned to my good old aveeno dry skin formula which has been vital in keeping my hands from cracking open this winter. The dimethecone in the aveeno lotion is so important to lock the moisture in and keep in on your body, not just rubbing off the next second. Great video as always :))

I live by the OlaPlex treatments for hair. ( i have the pre wash 0 and 3 and a styling cream for blow outs/ and or smoothing second day styles). When i had my hair dyed red i would use a color maintaining mask for red hair, i remember how silky and smooth it felt. On the bath side, i keep using the satsuma line from the body shop. Just the most amazing realistic orange smell to give me a happiness boost. My second favorite is the verveine one from l'occitane, another delightful smell. On the nail side, i am enjoying the nail bases and serums from mavala. While the brand is Swiss, I discovered them in paris, so painting my nails cheers me up and reminds me of the huge stands of nail polish in the monoprix. For hand cream, the clear favorite last year was the humble hemp cream by the body shop, it was The savior that worked during the night to undo the dryness of hand sanitizers.

The timing of this video couldn't be better: I've been trying to nudge myself into the shower for hours, but now I feel inspired! My bath and body discovery of 2021 was low-pH deodorants. My favorite has definitely been the Kosas serum formula, but something tells me that Necessaire gel might be another low pH goodie?
Hope it felt like a treat, not a chore Julia! 😄🚿 Ooh I'm not sure how the pH levels compare, but the Kosas formula is in my lineup to test out too. So happy with Nécessaire's new gel though, so I won't need a replacement for a very long time! x
A great Necessaire dupe is Nuetrogena Bath. I have not had a good result with layering when using Necessaire body lotion. It always peels, do you have any recommendations to keep this from happening when layering with oils, serums, or ointments?
I LOVE that you love Lanolips!! It's the OG lip product. I love cockatoo by Olive and June too but I can NEVER get to day 8 like your nails do! I'm not sold on trying Necessaire yet although I do adore bergamot as a fragrance and the idea of a body serum.
I love that you love Lanolips too! 😂👏 Don't worry, it's quite rare for me to get all the way to day 8 of a mani. Usually day 5-6 with no chips is more common, so I think having shorter nails made the difference this time x

I've had the worst week ever, but watching this beautiful beauty editorial on my tv was the highlight. You saved my dry skin last week with the La Roche Posay baume. The CR mask just came in a subscription box, so it must be fate. Might round it out with a Matilda approved lippie or nail polish for a mini pick me up before rejoining the real world. : )
I got the Eucalyptus and the fragrance free body wash.. And the fragrance free body lotion.. I love the smell of Nuxe's floral oil so I mix a few drops with the lotion 😍
So in Sephora in my country the lano coconutter has the same price as the golden skin salve but obviously the second is a much bigger tube, I love the coconutter one, is the golden skin salve the exact same as the fruity 101 ointments in texture, glossiness, repairing?
Not at all Jenny, the Golden Dry Skin Salve is a different formula! It has different ingredients, a thicker texture and a less glossy finish. I personally find it far more repairing 👍 (Just gave a tube to my Mum to help with a wound that needed lots of stitches and she loved it!) x
Last year was the year I discovered Aesop. Tried almost everything, nothing disappointed me! Now, that Necessaire is in Space NK, I am pretty sure I'll go with that one this year : )

A website either defaults back to Canada or doesn't deliver to Canada or I can order but exchange, duty and high shipping... it's just ridiculous. Thank you Nazanin! Not at all - I mention in the video that I only wash my hair every 3-4 days, even less frequently during the pandemic (I shower daily, just a body shower). That would probably work out to the same frequency as someone who washed their hair more often and used these products every second wash 👍 Both always leave my hair feeling so bouncy and weightless! x

Yes!!! That was where I found it too! 😄👏 Sadly the Blind Barber website doesn't ship internationally and I couldn't find other stockists. It used to be available on Mr Porter so hopefully it comes back there? The brand only recently updated their packaging and restocked everything x

Tutorials aren't the style of my channel unfortunately Nini, I don't have any plans to come on camera! I used to just search for my type of GHD curl tong or 'round brush blow dry' on UA-cam to get some technique ideas for curling and blow drying 👍 x

I've had the worst week ever, but watching this beautiful beauty editorial on my tv was the highlight. You saved my dry skin last week with the La Roche Posay baume. The CR mask just came in a subscription box, so it must be fate. Might round it out with a Matilda approved lippie or nail polish for a mini pick me up before rejoining the real world. : )

I got the Eucalyptus and the fragrance free body wash.. And the fragrance free body lotion.. I love the smell of Nuxe's floral oil so I mix a few drops with the lotion 😍
So in Sephora in my country the lano coconutter has the same price as the golden skin salve but obviously the second is a much bigger tube, I love the coconutter one, is the golden skin salve the exact same as the fruity 101 ointments in texture, glossiness, repairing?
Not at all Jenny, the Golden Dry Skin Salve is a different formula! It has different ingredients, a thicker texture and a less glossy finish. I personally find it far more repairing 👍 (Just gave a tube to my Mum to help with a wound that needed lots of stitches and she loved it!) x

Thank you Nazanin! Not at all - I mention in the video that I only wash my hair every 3-4 days, even less frequently during the pandemic (I shower daily, just a body shower). That would probably work out to the same frequency as someone who washed their hair more often and used these products every second wash 👍 Both always leave my hair feeling so bouncy and weightless! x

Oh my god. Pausing on your video - I just stayed at Arlo in NYC a few weeks ago where they had Blind Barber products. I’m back in Sydney and this just reminded me of how much I loved their scents! I’m hoping you have a website linked that will ship to Australia.
Yes!!! That was where I found it too! 😄👏 Sadly the Blind Barber website doesn't ship internationally and I couldn't find other stockists. It used to be available on Mr Porter so hopefully it comes back there? The brand only recently updated their packaging and restocked everything x

Oh no, sorry to hear! Which products did you try? I think the textures and scents of the Body Wash and Exfoliator are a big part of why I love the experience of using them, but the Body Serum and Lotion are the real miracle workers for me that are well ahead of any other product I've tried in that category 💧🤍 x
