I learned a decade ago that fillers do have their place when correcting paint. I won't remove clear coat unless absolutely necessary however, I found a filler can take care of some imperfections and give me a great finish.
Take a 🙇 bow. Not sure why glazes & fillers are so looked down upon. I think it’s mostly the “detailing police” on YT that does this but like you, products that have some filling capability have their place in options of correcting paint.
I enjoy your approach and appreciate that this is a non-sponsored video. All the detailing videos I have watched to date use compounds and polishes without fillers to separate out the coating step that follows. This is the first video that showed me when it is useful to use a polish with fillers to be gentle, get the desired results, and save time. I also totally relate to poor directions on a product’s label, which can torpedo the end-user’s experience of an otherwise fine product.
Hey bud. Just got my first shipment from Fab and I’m really impressed bro. The diamond glass cleaner……..omg where has this been my whole life! It took the worst smokers film off the nastiest windshield ever today. 1st wipe!! Gone. Thanks bud. Greg at Cadillac Auto Detailing & Ceramic Coatings. Cadillac MI
Great video Buddy👍👍👌 Black paint is the best IMO when it is taken care of... the worst because it shows every imperfection. Even though the paint has stone chips it looked amazing👀 I bet now they will add use a damp microfiber towel on the directions✍
I tried the graphene spray coating. Totally gone after 1.5 months and 2 washes, no hydrophobic properties left. Car was outside. No better than any other wax Ive used.
I have 2 black vehicles with ceramic coatings that I was taking through the automatic wash. This should allow me to remove minor imperfections without having to remove the ceramic coating.
Renegade makes great stuff. They make a product called Rebel All Terrain coating. It's phenomenal on your wheel wells. That's what I use it for but it's primarily made to coat off road vehicles so dirt, mud and snow don't stick to the surface.
Hey Brian Great Video.. In my never ending quest to find the best products to make Weathertech floor mats look new. I have used Renegade's Rebel Vinyl Runner and Plastic product. Having left them slick it is unusable for that however, it does decent on other areas of the vehicle. So far Goo Gone and then an APC cleaning works best but I still need that revive product for rich darkness.. I think I will order these products and test them out on a few black cars.. Hope business is booming.. Best of luck with the new gig..!
I have a 2012 Dodge with black paint. It is difficult at times to make it pop. The polish looks very intriguing. I'm going to order the products you used in the video for your Jeep. Very impressive shine and hydrophobics. 👍👍👍
Haven’t used the Renegade product line. Sees to be a contender along with the well known companies. I’m looking into the firearm cleaning products that they have available. Awesome results on the Jeep.
Great review, Brian - and fantastic results! Keep us updated on the durability. That is, if you keep any product on your vehicles for a whole year... 😊
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Oh, I definitely understand. I've got two different sets of products on mine and my wife's vehicles, and I already want to try other products. I LOVE watching product reviews on UA-cam, but it's a curse too, because I always want to try other stuff. My wife wants to ban me from my computer... 😊
Thanks, Brian! I sure wish someone would make a product like that for different color vehicles (I know… nearly impossible with all the colors out there!). As always, you do a great job with the details. Cheers from Ohio! ~ John 👍
Well the thing is, the base color is under a clear coat , this particular polish is for black color cars but black tinted polish can’t reach the paint, product like this product cuts well and decent fillers, but reality will not make car darker, this product will work with any color you have that has a clear coat. This one here really enhanced the paint well, and the sealant and quick detail seems pretty good, thanks for sharing Brian, hope you and theFab family are well
Great job and explanations Brian. Always nice to evaluate new products… I checked out your Amazon store, really like checking out all the products in there! 😎
Not used Renegade before but they look pretty impressive 👍 I'm always a fan of products that are designed to work with each other. Great review and instructions 👍👌
Awesome review man!! Definitely gonna look into that black polish..I have renegade products semi wheel polishing buffs and bars (a kit).. a client wanted me to polish 3 trucks.. so I bought the stuff..and he backed out at the last minute 🤷♂️
Ok, how about your opinion. So about 10 to 12 months ago turtle wax brought their Black ceramic polish and black ceramic coating and most people thought it was great including you if I remember right. Is Renagade about the same , better or worse in application and in results????
They perform about the same. The only difference is the liquid wax which TW doesn’t have. Hydrophobic’s are better with Renegade. We will have to wait to see the durability of it.
I was going to as the same question. I've been looking into both for a 2017 black F150 I have in a couple weeks for a 1 step paint enhancement and 1 yr protection. Perfect timing for the review Brian, thanks.
They sell alot of this companies products at semi truck service and parts companies. I seen it at a local parts shop a few months ago. Covered in dust on end cap. The guys at the counter had no idea about the products. I figured if I got in a pinch. I would run down and pick up a bottle of there iron remover.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing I heard they advertise at truck show's. I never seen until I took my company truck to get a part. It caught my eye with the coloreds bottle's...lol.

Ok off topic but I know you are a big Griots polisher fan and I was looking into purchasing a 15mm. I have the G6 and G9 but notice that the majority of detailers use a 15mm like Griots, Maxshine and Rupes plus others. Which 15mm would you recommend. Price isn't an option the more it is I will just save, lol.
I have the old Griots BOSS machine and love it. Unfortunately they don’t have them anymore. I am currently testing a 15mm and if I like it I will make a video on it. My Maxshine 15mm is good but can stall on body lines. Once you figure it out though it’s no big deal.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing crazy part is I used to detail for a body shop. But after the military I've had physical issues. I got half my hood waxed after a double wash, and couldn't finish.
