I applied Griots Ceramic 3 in 1 June 22nd, the brilliance after 1 coat is truly amazing! I am old school liquid wax. It has been over 10 years since I have waxed a vehicle this ceramic is just an amazing product. This fall I'll give it a two coat job, the prep work really wore me out.
Three years later and all the hardcore comparison tests have this as the clear winner*every time* for easy spray on ceramics and is only around $20! Just can't go wrong with this stuff!
I used it several times and never had an issue with streaking. What I've learned is to use a light mist per panel, doesn't pay to waste the product. We detailed a large RV and the customer wanted it waxed but we offered him this and he loves it. Thus will outlast most carnauba waxes.
Great video. I've been using this product for about a month now. Not only on my personal vehicle, but also vehicles that I do for my customers. I've had nothing but great results with this product. I also like Griot's Garage stuff. I used to use a lot of other products on the market, but for some reason, I've stuck with Griot's Garage. They have great products, and even better customer service.
mills271 Thanks! It’s great for a spray in product IMO! Griot’s is my go to and always go back to when nothing else works. They are a great company with great products.
Yes, Brian it's impressive the Griots 3 in 1. I purchased it prior to Turtle Wax Ceramic and it's endurance is incredible. Turtle Wax, Griots and Meguiars are three great products that I always will support because both are owned by family, they test their products thoroughly, are made in the USA, have great triggers/bottles, great branding/logos, easy to use, affordable and are available for everyone. I have used Turtle Wax products since the 80's when I helped my dad and grandfather from my mother's side(since my grandfather from my dad's side never had a car) wash, clean and wax their cars. Then when in the 90's Griots came out I also tried them as well as Meguiars. When I started detailing as a side job 6 years ago these were my main products and thanks to you, Apex(Brian), Pan, Miranda, PapaSmurf918, MeanBee392, Forensic Detailing(Sir Jon), Jimbo Balaam, Wilson (Luke), Darren from Auto Fetish, Rag Company, Chelsea from Attention to Details, Car Guru (Sir McDonald)just to name a few, helped me expand knowledge and get better products for my clients besides having great and durable products. This has helped me having more scheduled maintenance plans too since I do this during weekends and/or some nights after my daily regular job. Now also into Ethos, Renegade Products, Sonax, Superiorproducts and bonnetpro products too. Thanks for your video review and please have the gallon available because if you detail from home I think it would be beneficial. This is the only thing Turtle Wax I didn't see them having. Xoxo from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷
Turtle wax no longer family owned by Americans; owned by Transchem Group based in Cambridge, ON, Canada. Believe Meguiar's is now owned by 3M company. Not knocking either company, especially since I use Turtle wax Ceramic on my vehicles. Griot's I have not used, probably won't...they overprice their products and DO NOT stand up to some of their products.
Glad to finally see you have a video on this stuff. This is my current favorite detailing product hands down - so easy to maintain great protection with a product like that in the garage. I already felt like 90% of the work when washing the car comes during the rinse, but now I can rinse off like 97% of any surface contaminants and its just kind of road grime/tar that is actually stuck on the paint. I thought you had to get a real ceramic coating to experience that. Edit: I find the two coats with 48 hours of curing are pretty much necessary for me - I've applied it like a normal spray wax and was less satisfied with the results, I also find it does not tend to hang onto wheels too well (tested on chrome & painted aluminium wheels). Lastly, I applied to all windows but my windshield (I have Glassparency on there) and man this stuff is killer.
LJM2stepspain Man I was so excited to finally get to use it! I had a bird bomb on it that I didn’t see for a while and it wiped right off no problem. This stuff is legit good. Thanks for the information on your experience with it.

I am trying it on my new Ridgeline. I washed and dried the truck (used blower to get all water out the cracks). I applied to the paint as directed. It wasn't as slick as I expected. Since truck is in the garage, I will apply another coat to see what happens.
I have been eye-ing Griot's 3 in 1 wax for a while now... Thanks for the video! And yes, I agree that the Griot's spray bottles are THE BEST I have used (I am planning on converting my detailing chemicals into Griot's bottles and wouldn't mind taking that into household chemicals as well!).
Fantastic video man! Haha full blown super geekout mode!!! Lol I knew you would love this stuff! That thing looks absolutely stunning brother. BLINGTASTIC!!!
@@jaykid007 after using the Griots 3-1 in same conditions as I have used the TW I'd go with the Griots.. when I made that claim at that time yes, the TW was a notch above but it was like 93° out haha. I used the 3-1 on the BRZ I recently did and it was effortless. Really enjoyed it. I wouldn't say its SO much better than the TW but definitely better imo
I do remember when I first started watching you 2 yrs ago the first video I watched was your whole collection of Griot's products.. Which after watching the video on the correcting cream I used it & my Da for the first time... I love their sprayers on the bottles! 😁 Great video...
Katrina Georgia Girl My Griot’s Collection has grown even more since that video. They have the best bottles and sprayers on the market for sure. Thanks
Love Griots Garage Correcting Cream. Gonna have to give this a try. I am beginning to think there is only a depreciable difference between these types of products. (TW 🐢 Hybrid Ceramic Coating, The Last Coat, Meguiar's Ceramic, Bead Maker, etc). Made in USA 🇺🇸 👍 Great video Brian 💪🏻
I just picked up a bottle at Pep Boys..they give me a military discount . I own absolutely everything Griots makes except this..I have a garaged kept sports car and it already looks damn good...cant wait to get it done..nice video.
Very Nice.. I added this to my Griots collection some time ago, have yet to use it. I tend to be brand loyal. your channel and reviews have greatly influenced me to purchase so many Griots products.. I've been also amassing Turtlewax and P&S products by the gallons... The effort you put into your channel makes it easy for me to figure out what to buy and how to apply..catch you on your live stream..
Liked and subscribed! Same here Griot’s Garage has been my go to product for years, bought their DA buffer when it first came out and use their One Step Sealer. It keeps all my older vehicles looking younger!
It’s definitely a nice product to work with, even put it on my toolbox and it’s so slick. Great review brother and it is definitely an awesome product.
Thank you for the great review. I have been using the new Seal n Shine from Turtle Wax, but I think I'm gonna try this out next. Glad to see your love for Old Glory and our great land. Keep up the great work man!
I think you where geeking really hard on this stuff. Ever since I used griots for the first time I've been in love with their products. Great review brother
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing i know its rare for you to be speechless. But its griots would you expect anything less from them? Since I've been a follower of your channel there hasn't been alot of products you have geeked out over (besides ethos and turtle wax i know im forgetting some) however most products you review you either really love them or you say its crap and not worth the price.
That's got some great quality sio2 content in it by the way it sheet's so fast from the fender. Almost like a full on coating. k have to ask, How is the gloss and shine compared to TW ceramic spray coating? Great video Brian.
404 not found The water behavior is insane with this. It’s hard to say because the gloss was crazy before I applied it. I may have to try it out on a test panel to see if and how much gloss it adds.
Thanks for the video Brian! I'm sold. Will give this a go! Sounds like this has the advantage over other comparable products because of its carnauba content which gives more shine. Can't wait to see how it does.
Very nice Brian. Looks like a winner. I always revert back to the Griot's as well.....Kind of like that one fishing lure where you always grab because you know you will catch something with it
I just finished up using it for my first time. Then you post this video. Lol. It turned my towel green but it definitely left a nice gloss. Just a simple wash and synthetic Clay then wax and it worked great.
Looks like awesome stuff. I ordered it two weeks ago and still waiting for it to come from autogeek. Shipping slow across the USA. Glad you finally reviewed and made a video. Your excitement tells it all. Did you use the boss best of show compound and then the correcting cream? 2 step?
Jason Davis It is awesome stuff! Man I was speechless there for a second. I used BOSS Perfecting Cream as a one step. A few spots needed Fast Correcting Cream but 95% of the car was just Perfecting Cream.
Nice review. Your preparation work really paid off. Did you use an IPA solution or equivalent wiped own prior to applying? As others have mentioned it looks like a mirror‼️ please give us an update in a couple of months. 👍✌️🇺🇸
When I saw the real world test on Pan's channel earlier this year (2022) I was amazed on it's durability. When I originally saw your video shortly after it was released I was using Bead Maker and never got a chance to use the product. This spring I bought a bottle of Griot's 3-1 and cleaned my apartment garage door because it was susceptible to dirt splashing up from cars driving by and bird gunk. Fast forward five months later and the garage door is still the cleanest! To be honest though, I wasn't a huge fan of the scent of this product. By the way, thanks for mentioning The Rag Company as they're in my neck of the woods!
Brian, the Jouney looks like none other, I'd say it looks better than a coating. Griot's does only put out products that are high performers, your work here is a testament to the Griot's system. As a suggestion for durability testing you may want to do your maintaining within the Griot's line up.
If you were going to make a kit of Griot’s products, what would you recommend? I would really like to know. I’m not familiar with these products but you make them look amazing!!!!
Auto fanatic did a video and had problems but GG suggested a towel change. Great tips from his review but a very nice product, liking it on my car too!
Super video, would ask the same question as 404 not found, think a comparison with TW hybrid solutions ceramic spray coating would be great. Hope you and the family are well.
How does this compare to the Ethos Ceramic Wax Pro. Of course I want good longevity but really want something to make my new black truck with metallic flakes pop. You seemed to really like both but really emphasized the depth and clarity with the Ethos. Thanks for any insight you can offer. REALLY appreciate it!
They are kind of different products. Ceramic wax pro topped with this would be awesome. I may have to try that now that you have me thinking about it. 😂 You can’t go wrong with either but Ethos really enhances the paint.
You ever use the 3 in 1 wet applied? Basically apply it after rinsing, instead of drying then applying 3 in 1, you use it like a drying aid...spray onto the wet panel then dry it. Wondering if you've tried it that way and what the experience was like. I've heard it works good that way, but the instructions don't even want it to get wet right away, so who knows. I havent tried it yet.
@Stephen White, I recently used this as a drying aid, it worked wonders. I used the two microfiber towel method to apply, then buff it out. I would not recommend using this every time you wash and dry your car though, this product is meant to be used after several months when it gets weak on your car (~3 - 9 months or a year).
This stuff looks really good, but you almost detailed it with some other Griot products before you applied it? I live in a big city , no garage , car on the street with a local car wash. Would you recommend this product to use after a hand wash or car wash? It sounds like the application is very specific for best results. If not this, what would you recommend. It's tough having a car on the streets in a big city. Love the video, thanks
😎 fab love the water beating and shine metal flakes shine though it great video fab I've got a jeep renege to try on Sunday got me convince have a great video
Using with a microfiber app pad is the best even after it is over saturated, just follow with a dry plush microfiber towel for absolute wonderful results!!!!!!!
Everett Caudle Thank you! It’s been fun, stressful and very time consuming but the last step is being done this weekend finally. Yes the truck needs a full paint correction and I am looking forward to doing that.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing yeah I've been using their stuff for about two years. They are all I use pretty much anymore, so excited to use this. Also the car will be getting wrapped, do you think the ceramic wax would also be good for that four for the protection And ease of cleaning?
I definitely still recommend it. Making UA-cam videos I don’t get to use products twice as I need to test other products on my cars so I have not used it again. It lasted around 10 months on the car which I thought was great for a spray on product.
My first time watching your videos. Nice job. I usually use Mequiar's Cleaner Wax (paste in a can), which works great and lasts a long time. Is this in lieu of a regular hand wax like I do? Thanks
I'm looking for the best sheeting product if anyone can advise.. thanks for the great video impressed with how easy it is to apply unlike other products .. it's just I want sheating
How do you think this compares to McKee’s 37? I love McKee's based on your review and use it on both my Tesla's. Always looking at ways to make em shine more though :) Thanks brother, garage is looking good. Don't forget family time during the moving process.
It’s hard to compare the 2 because application is way different. The shine really comes from the preparation before application. What I would do is use Griot’s as your base layer and top with McKee’s 37 every other wash or once a month after a wash. It would help extend the life of the Ceramic 3 in 1. Thanks brother
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing That works for me. I am curious to see your follow up on this after a few months to see its longevity. You might be spot on, do Griots base layer every 6 months, and then McKee's every month.
I bought the blue Griots Bottle with the Synthetic Clay bar dude the paints were like Factory new finish on an 2013 TSX and my 2004 Titan it was like Orgasmic
Hey Brian, really enjoyed this video. I'm new to your page and just subcribed w/the bell. I could really use your guidance. I have a new silver Audi SQ8 enroute and I'm considering getting the front, hood and mirrors professionally applied with PPF then having it professionally ceramic coated, which will be very expensive. I heard you say you had the ceramic removed from your car then, after other steps, applied the Griot's 3-in-1 Ceramic wax. I'm wondering if having it professionally ceramic coated would be worth the expense or using the Griot's Ceramic 3-in-1 wax will suffice. I do intend to have PPF applied. I live in florida and have concerns about UV protection, love bugs and all of the other concerns with having a car in this climate. BTW I don't have a garage, but keep my truck covered with a quality cover and will do the same for my car. I appreciate any advice guidance you can offer before paying out that kind of dough.
Great job FAB! I was surprised you had zero streaking. Seems others had the issue; but you only used a couple squirts per section. Overall, how many microfiber towels did you go through? The van looks amazing! Great job!!

manuel casiba It is nice have the compressed air. I think 3 months would be great for a spray on product.
wow..2thumbs up 2the...indiana boy!!!!!!!juss like in the ole tom petty song....nice video.
@@scottbarker9058 Thank you!
I've been waiting on this one from you. Great video as usual!
Jock Sorry it took so long! Thank you
Our awesome flag on the beginning 😍☝️👍🇺🇸
Sil Mez Always flying high! 🇺🇸
Thanks Brian . That stuff looks fantastic, nice job. Take care.
G17 It is fantastic for sure! Thanks brother
Must be good if it makes a dodge shine. How long does it last. Like the intro God Bless America.
I love all of their products also. Yay ...Griots Garage.
I’ve applied to my wife’s car but haven’t tested either hydrophobics or durability yet. It’s been 5 weeks; hoping to test it soon.
Ryan Mulhearn You will like the Hydrophobic’s for sure! I’m also looking forward to seeing how long it lasts.
New subscriber, great video. Keep up the good work and appreciate your time making these videos
David Tattoli Welcome to the FAB family! Thank you and will do
I got to say, I have never envied a Dodge sport ute paint job before but damn!, shiny as hell. Go 'Merica!
Thank you! 🇺🇸
I have never tried it using it like a drying aid. If Griots doesn’t mention it then they must not recommend it.
It would still work good without the proper prep it just won’t hold up as long.
😎 fab love the water beating and shine metal flakes shine though it great video fab I've got a jeep renege to try on Sunday got me convince have a great video
Have a great weekend fab family I want to try it lol
Yeah it is a great product and holding up strong.
Love that Flag! Thank you!
Bronxtaskforce1 Thank you and you are welcome! 🇺🇸
Please do a follow-up video on this in a few months , I'm interested to see how long it lasts
Oscar M I did a 2 month update a few weeks ago. You should be able to find it in my videos list.
Hats off to Griots Garage for a great product.
Kyle Marx Absolutely!!!
Awesome video! Big fan of the Poly Gloss and can’t wait to use the Ceramic Wax. Would you use the Poly Gloss on top of the 3 in 1?
Thanks! Poly gloss is awesome. Yes I would use it during maintenance washes.
The finish looks AWESOME 👍👍👍
Greg Mosk Yes it was!
Using with a microfiber app pad is the best even after it is over saturated, just follow with a dry plush microfiber towel for absolute wonderful results!!!!!!!
What the f*#k?! Is your suv for sale?! Hot damn! 👀🤤 Look like a brand new suv but haven’t driven yet! Lol! Nice job man. Keep going! 🙂
New garage looks great Brian! I hope you're having fun with it. Any plans to do any detailing videos on the Ram? Would love to see some truck stuff!
Everett Caudle Thank you! It’s been fun, stressful and very time consuming but the last step is being done this weekend finally. Yes the truck needs a full paint correction and I am looking forward to doing that.
Great video, been waiting for this one.
Michael Amos Thank you!
Just bought some nexgen ceramic looking forward to trying it
Ludakritz I have Nexgen but have not used it yet.
One of the best sprays for paint protection.
Cajun Kevin Absolutely!
Awesome review ... agreed, Griot's is awesome and AMERICAN!!!!
Thank you! I always love American made. It’s actually made about 30 minutes from me in Plainfield Indiana.
I just purchased this and the leather cleaner, but i need to purchase the other products. You said something about their contamination cream ??
Thanks for this. When do you use the IPA wipe down? Just before applying the ceramic?
You are welcome! Yes it is the final step before applying the protection.
Great gloss and shine. Just ordered a bottle.
Chris Murphy Yes it is and you will love it.
About to order this and the glass polish and sealant to do my BMW for a full detail. Also gonna use them on my gold chrome wheels
chgotbanned You will like their products. They are always on point and make your cars look amazing.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing yeah I've been using their stuff for about two years. They are all I use pretty much anymore, so excited to use this. Also the car will be getting wrapped, do you think the ceramic wax would also be good for that four for the protection And ease of cleaning?
How long does 2 coats last 4. Like how often does this need to be reapplied if you washed your car once a week
Great! Another product your going to make me try!!😂👍👍
Bean306 But it is so much fun trying new products! 😂
Yes indeed it’s amazing 😉 which polish did you use ? Nice review
Gene1984 G I used BOSS Perfecting Cream.
Having been 2 years now since this video dropped, are you still using this product over a ceramic coating? Would you still recommend it?
I definitely still recommend it. Making UA-cam videos I don’t get to use products twice as I need to test other products on my cars so I have not used it again. It lasted around 10 months on the car which I thought was great for a spray on product.
My first time watching your videos. Nice job. I usually use Mequiar's Cleaner Wax (paste in a can), which works great and lasts a long time. Is this in lieu of a regular hand wax like I do? Thanks
Robert Henley Thank you! Yes this can be used as stand alone lrotection.
Great video! I got the turtle hybrid solutions a couple months ago but it looks like maybe I should’ve gone with griots
Thanks! The TW Hybrid Solutions is a great product line. Griot’s edges them out a little bit though.
I'm looking for the best sheeting product if anyone can advise.. thanks for the great video impressed with how easy it is to apply unlike other products .. it's just I want sheating
Thanks for another great video.
You are welcome! I appreciate you watching
Yesla4Tesla I plan to make update videos in the future so we can all see how it holds up.
Wow it is like a mirror. Hopefully you can get some sponsorship with these guys
Griot’s products have always given me great results like this. Thanks
Best ceramic coating! Lasted all winter.
It has great durability but it’s not a ceramic coating. It’s a silica spray sealant.
Hey Fab, I like to coat my windshields with Carnauba wax, can you use this as well?
I bought the blue Griots Bottle with the Synthetic Clay bar dude the paints were like Factory new finish on an 2013 TSX and my 2004 Titan it was like Orgasmic
SBF HAWK Griot’s makes fantastic products! Speed Shine is one of my favorite products.
how about giving us a updated video on how long this stuff works
Reflection is Awesome
Dan Morrissette Yes it is! Thanks for watching
All there products are awesome!
Thanks for watching and contacting me through Facebook where I answered this question.
Brian. Looking to add this to the cabinet. 3 years later. Would you still get this? Or do you recommend anything now?
It’s a great product that’s o easy to use. Definitely recommend it still
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Definitely going to pick some up. Mom gets the first use.
With the product, can I spray into microfiber applicator then apply to the vehicle?
Wow, came out really good!
Thanks it’s a great product.
If I just waxed & polished car 2 months ago do I need to do all that again before I use this?
Great job FAB! I was surprised you had zero streaking. Seems others had the issue; but you only used a couple squirts per section. Overall, how many microfiber towels did you go through? The van looks amazing! Great job!!
Phriendlymd Thanks brother. Yep no problem at all. I think I used 6 total.
If I applied Meguairs ultimate liquid wax a week before . Can I apply this on top of it ? Or should I strip wash 🤔 cars black btw
ToyoNation82 You can use this as a topper but I would recommend removing the Meguairs before. This will bond better to a bare clear coat.
