You forgot the BMW S14 engine, which, in DTM spec, also was able to reach 10.000rpm. The M10 engine was used in formula 1 and was revving well above 10k. Also motorcycle engines might deserve a note because most, even the cheap ones, rech far beyond 10k.
filip sebalj Have you ever been near this car ??? I have... many times... and NO... ITS NOT FAKE !!! All people on the internet say the same thing over and over again... and NONE of you have seen it or hear it in person... These sh!t started from some Americans because the car was going for a world record (and at that time Americans had it)... In that journey many videos came out... lots of parts broken... and lots of parts changed or tuned... Now the car is a de-stroked 4G63... from 2 lt to 1.8 lt... turbo... and YES its revvs that high !!! Some time ago the car made a world record pass... everyone (especially Americans) didnt believe it... they said that the time wasnt on the video with the car so its just a video montage... people showed them the same video from different angles with the time in the same frame... Next they started saying that the track was shorter than 402m (1/4 mile)... people uploaded videos with the track being measured... nop... that wasnt enough... Next they said go to an international and proven drag track... they went to Malta International Racetrack... and did a better record... And now they are saying "bring the car to USA and claim the record in front of us... against our world record cars"... OK... this BS and all this hate has to stop... its getting very annoying at every video on UA-cam... especially from people that they dont have a clue of what they are saying...

Dan D'Onofrio Fake or not that evo is the world's quickest and extreme tuners proved it on the strip. Plus it revs way over 10k. So your comment is pretty stupid and irrelevant.
You just said "The Evo footage is fake". Do you have any proof about that statement? It's clear that it goes way beyond 10k rpm. And that's a FACT! What do you mean it's fake? You can see and hear it on this and other videos on the internet. Do some research and then proceed to comment. Right now you are embarassing yourself.
The guys from Extreme Tuners actually decreased the stroke of that Evo engine, so that one in the video was actually an oversquared engine! They decreased the overall volume of the engine, but that allowed then to make it rev so high!
In argentina, we have the Ford 221 I6,from factory is around 6.000 RPM,but its capable of 12.000 RPM,same as the Chevy 250 and the AMX Cherokee ACTC. The Turismo Carretera uses this engines, but the regulations of the series puts a limit of 9.000 RPM

And I'm here with my 4500 rpm 3F-E in my Land Cruiser
b16b at 201 hp
Same but jetta tdi 5k rpm redline lol
6:48 That's a supra
Casual 11k 😂
There were production 250cc 4 cylinder motorcycle engines in the 80s that were capable of nearly 20,000 rpm
phil955i yup! The mc22 cbr and the hornet 250
phil955i with pistons as small as shot glasses
Don't forget the Yamaha FZR250RR Exup, one of which I owned about 20 years ago. It made me cringe when I initially ventured north of 10,000 rpm but it lapped it up & was as reliable as any other bike. Nothing much happened below about 12,000 rpm anyway so you had to rev it to get any worthwhile forward momentum lol. Not only that but you should've heard it on an aftermarket race muffler as it neared 20,000 rpm ;-) Only about 40 bhp but what a fun bike.
You forgot the BMW S14 engine, which, in DTM spec, also was able to reach 10.000rpm. The M10 engine was used in formula 1 and was revving well above 10k. Also motorcycle engines might deserve a note because most, even the cheap ones, rech far beyond 10k.
How about the Suzuki Cappuccino?
Great video! Beware of Toyota/Yamaha collaboration engine's! Fear the beast.
10k? All I can think about is Honda CBR250RR at 20k.
From years of R&D it seems like 11K rpms for the F20C is the sweet spot for road racing cars according to 4Piston racing.
2JZ 10k.....that thing sounds like a jet plane
For those who wonder why nearly all of them are JDMs, it's because of eurobeat.
жигули в конце - это топ
love the new intro, first time I've seen it, great selection of motors/cars
Why no Judd v8 ?
There's no F1 engines here, as they are built to withstand that much revs
There are some legends about RB26 that it can go even over 10K redline with fat vallet :)
The title says capable of 10,000 rpm so you should include LS's and sbc because there are plenty out there turning over 10,000 rpm
right for example DZ302 or any LS with 4.8 cranck and mechanical lifters
Pietrek L there are actually larger displacement LS's turning that quick, above the 370ci mark!
I know, but most of them use 4.8 crank, or tall deck block. If i well remember Lingenfelter has build one with flat pane crank which rev over 9k.
Pietrek L Yep! Destroked ls7s use a 4.8 crank and turn 9000 rpm. Must be awesome haha
WS 88 you right, i saw more than one cosworth engine running around 10k rpm
Literally the 2jz gave me goosebumps 😲😲😲😲😱😱
10k rpm?
Honda Engines laughing😂
Ikr Honda loves to bang the redline
หําืหําร ทฟ่ฟ siip phan rpm karp
happi vtak :D
But a roatry is laughing even harder since they rev 10k EASY and f1 still EASY
What about the k20?
This had my jaw dropping, also a +1 subscriber.
The evo from extreme tuners is in greece legendery sound
fake af
filip sebalj Have you ever been near this car ???
I have... many times...
Lada... LMAO. Great stuff man.
VisioRacer You forgot about old school small block chevy (non LS, but LS with 4.8 crank is capable over 9k rpm).
ua-cam.com/video/gqYs2R4Ks1U/v-deo.html
I think I'll do another one dedicated to US engines, perhaps.
VisioRacer Great Idea. Or just do a video dedicated to highest revving v8 engines and include all different region's v8s.
thats not 10k tho
watch video below my previous comment
3-rotors have an interesting sound, even for a rotary.
How could you use fake fast forward material? (Lancer)
krezo dude watch extreme tuners channel. That shit is real as fuck
It's actually true. I've seen it at a dragstrip. It sounds like a superbike on steroids!
extremetuners have been lying for year, they fake drag strip numbers, fast forward videos, and skew dyno numbers, why do you think they wont drag race any other fast DSMs or EVOs.
Lolled9991 you are legit one dump fuck that knows nothing about cars!!Believes what all haters say cause it's not American build!!!Fuck off E.T have the fastest evo cry all you want say it's fake and speed up!!
Lolled9991 Well I didn't say you are American But I guess I'm dump and didn't get what you were trying to say Cheers Lad!!Glad you are on the same train!!Sorry for what has been said!!
Ur Engrish is getting so much better good work :)
Engrish?
the extreme tuners evo is a fake.
why?
The Extreme Tuners EVO IX is a legend all over Europe. Maybe world's fastest 0-400m EVO. AND IT COMES FROM GREECE OF CRISIS.....!!!!
So the fastest Evo on esrth and the furst evo to break into the 7 seconds barrier is fake.
Rrright
yeah it's a legend that's fake. do some research before posting. extreme tuners said it themselves, it was just a publicity stunt - it's a fact.
?v=1T6OrxcrlFU put this after watch on youtube address title, and get your answer. Because I know Spyros Panopoulos, the EVO creator in person. The next project is a V10. Only this I can tell you.
I could imagine the scene where Wataru tells Takumi "The reason you're not getting power is because the tachometer is no good" @ 1:28
Where is lexus lfa and ferrari 458 engines?
Je dło Ferrari v8 does not reach 10k
Je dło neither it does the lfa
Lexus is up to 9500
F50 GT
You didn't mention if any of these engines do it with hydraulic lifters?
Since these are all race engines I think you should includes V8s, because there are v8s that can rev to 10k as well. Vw 1.8t can do 10k as well. 👍
The Evo footage is fake
Dan D'Onofrio Fake or not that evo is the world's quickest and extreme tuners proved it on the strip. Plus it revs way over 10k. So your comment is pretty stupid and irrelevant.
How am I stupid or irrelevant if I am still right? The video was about engine RPMs, not quarter mile times
Right now I actually seem to be amusing myself with your responses
Dan D'Onofrio Haha ok. Footage is fake. Case closed.
That Lada engine had an incredible life span. Over 100 years!
As a biker , I'm loving the rev happy motors , top work Sir
Nice song at the end
The guys from Extreme Tuners actually decreased the stroke of that Evo engine, so that one in the video was actually an oversquared engine! They decreased the overall volume of the engine, but that allowed then to make it rev so high!
If you have a small budget and wanna achieve 9-10k rpm, go for the Rx8 with a rev cut👍
You can see here --> 3:12
The honda 3.0 v6 vtec engine loves to rev also my uncle has a 98 accord that revs over 11k rpm
Classic, awesome video!
4:55
What rpm should I shift at?
Snow
REAL SCREAMERS!!! Always amazed by the content and the in-depth information of this awesome channel1
My 2 B16A were both producing peak power above 10,000. One dynoed at 574 at 11 the other 294 at 10500. Yes both turbocharged
Beautiful
At 5:34 is an 4 Rotor. The 20b is an 3 Rotor Turbo.
A 13B weights around 75-90kg (without gearbox), not 159kg.
6:20 *[SPACE BOY PLAYING IN THE DISTANCE]*
2:28 that sounds like the cat screaming before explode))
