@@pam5389 Dr. Berg has some videos on the thyroid. My experience, after decades of hypothyroidism, was that I need to increase my levels of zinc, iodine and selenium (which help the body convert thyroid hormones into usable forms), and help my liver function better. I used Milk Thistle to improve my liver function. I also made sure that I was getting enough of the essential amino acids to make enough thyroid hormones - tryptophan and tyrosine (eat turkey). It took a while, but I now have a healthy liver and thyroid after decades of being on synthetic thyroid hormones. I hope this helps.

Karen White Steamed cruciferous vegetables, and mainly a plant-based diet is what I found is best for fighting disease and cancer. Also a lot of information shows that typically cancer feeds off of carbs and sugar, so a good suggestion might be to reduce the carbs in your diet. Try to get all of your trace minerals in as well as your B vitamins. Remember, reducing the toxin level of the body and increasing the enzyme and nutrient level is always going to show benefits and results, I hope the best for you and I hope you can fight your illness off. Feared it was Cancer but thankfully it wasn’t. Never received a definitive answer from the lab? Doctor believed cat scratch fever was the culprit. Suzanna 2014 Thanks. I don’t know if it could of played out any better. My wife is into holistic remedies. She lived with that condition for months, actually from February to July, trying various natural solutions and waiting it out. We went through four different doctors before settling on the one. Of course the other doctors all wanted to remove it for biopsy asap. But at least the doctor we chose tested her for basically every possible underlying issue instead of just rushing her into surgery. Through examination he did not believe it was Cancer. During that ordeal my wife was like a different person, seriously fatigued, sleeping all day. Glad to have her back! Just wish we had a definitive answer on what it was. We were told the lymph node is similar to a dumping ground for bacteria - sometimes when the bad guy gets in he doesn’t want to leave. Sounds childish but I guess it kind of sums it up.

At this point, I would need a book to explain the rest. But do note other cancers feed on ketones. Sooo, either way lowering your proteins IF one is concerned about active cancer, active immune response, this is a good place to start. As a life long farmer who also has autoimmune issues I have come to see that the immune system is misnamed, it is in my eyes more a system for controlling subcontractors...meaning that what we call pathogens are really invited into the body to remove build up of various waste/old tissue but then the "immune system" is there to insure this is done correctly. Not a war at all.
Also the need to relie on the 'subcontractors" comes from not being what I call pious: that is feasting, fasting, sunbathing, and cultivating rest and digest correctly?
    What do you think?

Hello Dr Berg.. I do appreciate having a MD talk about the Lymph system. Lymphedema is a major part of my and many other's life.. every day when I stand up it is countdown... I have researched and swim daily, drink burdock root tea, with dandelion root turmeric, ginger, cleavers, red root.. now I eat healthy as an omnivore kind of a primal ( never had a sweet tooth) I am seeing keto work for some with Lymphedema. The population of cancer survivors is growing along with it is the population that react by getting lymphedema from removal in surgery or damaged by treatment .. my surgery 2019, 24 % got lymphedema now in 2021 is 34% .. so if you the math .. this is becoming a major deal and would love for you to take a look at keto , I am curious about the electrolytes salt intake and keto... especially...for those who have lymphedema and are trying keto and doing well when we are told to reduce salt....

I sometimes mix in other things for a change of tastes but Burdock root is the main one for lymphedema.. it cleans the lymph while being a diuretic and is gentle to your system.. in fact it helps make your hair thick and shiny .. after the third month of daily use I felt a difference! My haircutter said yes they make hair salon product lines with it..
It is also a food in Japan the gobo root .. like a long white "carrot".. so it is way more safe and effective than Lasix .. which only gets rid of the liquid but you are left with the toxins in your tissues ...not for daily use .. Lymphedema is a life long condition and progressive if you don't manage it... you would think medicine would do better.. when 40% of cancer survivors react with this condition after treatments...

I've been watching your uploads and I just started taking Apple cider vinegar supplements 1250mg before each meal as well vitamin d, b1, sea kelp, zinc and k2 to hopefully help with the many problems I have...
I'm noticing that my thirst has massively increased along with frequent urination and my throat constantly feels dry and tight and my stomach started becoming less bloated and I'm less constipated...
But then I started doing the acupressure on my stomach due to right side neck and right hip/butt pain, after doing the acupressure my stomach has become very bloated and hard ...
I'm not sure if this is a natural reaction I really don't know what's going on...
I completed your quiz and got thyroid body type the problem is I started gaining weight at the same time I was living with a lot of stress and also started eating excessive sugar cause I had no energy so it's hard for me to know what triggered it..
    I'm just wondering whats happening...
The Apple cider vinegar is starting to lesson my severe acid reflux but it's not eliminating it...
I should add that I'm still eating badly and need to change my diet...
I've ordered the thyroid pack and just waiting for it to be delivered...
Just wondering if there's anything u could possibly tell me about these symptoms...
Not sure if u will see this comment but desperately hoping for some advice...
Thank u for such life changing content...
    Much love from Sydney Australia

I had a grade 3 spleen injury, thank god they did not remove it, it’s healed now I will do some tests to see if it’s working correctly but wow the spleen is so so important regarding blood filtering and your immune system I was worried they would take it out but they did not and I suffered for 6 months of pain until it healed.

All you need to do is keto. Once you strengthen your liver it helps out every other organ so you should be fine if you're on keto

Dr Berg, why do some lymph nodes grow when one is sick, but never go back down? I have had for more then 20 years a small swolen lymph node on left side of neck (dime sized)

Can you talk more about the spleen and the effects of having it removed due to trauma? Mine had to be removed due to a motorcycle accident. I'm aware that encapsulated bacteria is the biggest risk, while viruses - not so much.

I had a bacterial infection, I think staph, which cause one of my lymph node to swell up under my right jaw. Its a big lump and been there for weeks and months. Took antibiotics, the node shrank

I had lymph nodes removed on the left and notice that I no longer sweat under my arm on that side. Others who've had lymph nodes extracted have experienced the same. I'm trying to understand the connection between sweat glands and the lymphatic system. Can you please explain?

    Hello, Dr.Berg.
I have a grandson Denis, he's 6 years old right now. I did noticed that his limph nodes are so big in his neck and they are much bigger everywhere in his body as they suppost to be. We went to different doctors but they told us do not worry just to keep an eye if the nodes will get bigger. It is really worying.

Dr. Berg, what do you think about Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy for cancer staging? It removes one, or a couple of nodes to check for micro-metastases. Side effects include lymphoedema, but what about muscle strength and endurance? From my point of view, we neglect this also cuts off the lymphatic network. Are there alternatives doctors don’t talk about? Would like your take on this practice. Thank you.

Hi Dr.Berg, i have a hard painless lump under my right ear just at the point of where my jaw bone starts. My doctor has said its a swollen lymph node and does not seem bothered . It has now been there for 2 years and i am getting pain in my ear and pain shooting down into my throat area. This has been going on for a few months now and its slowly getting worse. I dont know if its connected but i also have an acid tasting mouth which is driving me crazy. I have to chew gum all the while to disguise the taste.

Hey Dr berg I’m 21 I have bad seborrheic dermatitis and I’m experiencing a decent amount of hairloss my
Hair is dry brittle and getting a bit thin. It is missing oil it seems it is easy to come out as well and most can’t even stand on its own. I do still have non alcoholic fatty liver because I’m overweight. I been watching your videos these past few days I’m just so scared I’ll lose more hair if I start keto but I really want to because of the benefits plz can u give me advice and if I need to fast how long and how many days etc. I don’t want to lose my hair I’m so young but I just don’t understand why this diet could cause hairloss and like why I would need to take so many things to prevent it I just want to be healthy I also have a bit of asthma

Y2K my hairloss isn’t in patches around my head my hairloss is just around the temples of my hairline. My hair is beyond dry brittle loose and I can rub it and it falls out easily. Flaking around the brows and my seborrheic dermatitis doesn’t help this
