How To Make Nuka-Cola From Fallout | Cooking Fallout Recipes | Episode 1

- Welcome to my new series Cooking Fallout Recipes! Today we will be brewing the legendary Nuka-Cola from Fallout! Anyone who has traveled the wasteland has been dying to try a sip of that sweet nectar they call Nuka-Cola. After feeling like Sheffield from Fallout 4, I finally had to taste the almighty beverage. This is going to be so much fun!
I will be showing you the full recipe on how to make your own Nuka-Cola at home step by step, and after you watch this video you can try it yourself! Please use caution and as always safety first in the kitchen. If you are too young to cook then please ask for an adult to help you in the kitchen!
Ingredients 🌟
- Ice
- Seltzer Water
- Water
- Sugar
- Zest and Juice of 1/2 an Orange, Lemon, and Lime
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 3 Cardamom Pods (substitute 1/2 tsp Ground Cardamom)
- 1/2 tsp Coriander Seed
- 2 Star Anise (substitute 1 tsp Anise Seed)
- 1/4 cup Browning Sauce
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Directions (making the Nuka-Cola Syrup) 🌟
- Combine the water, sugar, orange zest, lemon zest, lime zest, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, coriander seeds, and star anise into a pot
- Medium-high heat and whisk until the sugar dissolves
- Bring to boil
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes
- Remove from heat and strain into air tight container
- Add in the 3 fruits juices (about 1/3 cup juice total)
- Mix in browning sauce and vanilla extract
- Let cool, then cover and store in the fridge for 12 hours
This Nuka-Cola Syrup will stay fresh for up to 2 weeks in the fridge!
Directions (making an ice cold Nuka-Cola) 🌟
- Fill a large glass with ice, add 1 cup cold seltzer water, plus 5 to 7 tablespoons of Nuka-Cola syrup
- Stir together and mix well
- Drink your 1st Nuka-Cola

So how did it actually taste? Give some comparisons please.
Honestly it was extremely different than any soda I’ve ever had. It was NOT like a normal Pepsi or Coke. If I had to compare it to another soda I would say it tasted like a crazy variation of Dr.Pepper! Kind of a stout spice taste but nothing I’ve ever tasted! I can’t compare it to much, because 3 of those spices I’ve never tried before so it was a very new and unique experience! I’d give it 3/5 stars, it was good but not something I could drink multiple of. I had a blast making it and it’s definitely a unique special occasion drink. 😀 Thank you for watching!

What do I do with the little bits of seeds left in the drink syrup?
It's edible and fine to drink, but you can definitely try and remove any small bits with a spoon that the strainer missed! A finer strainer will remove more impurities for a cleaner syrup. I hope you enjoyed your Nuka Cola and thanks for watching! 😁
