Ross, you're my No. 1 go-to. Thanks for all your words of wisdom. My Allante' is a '92. First time I bought/owned was in 2000, sold it to an unknown in 05. Happened across this Allante' in February this year. Ran a Carfax, found it was the very one I sold in 05. Back in the fold and loving it. Now lots of time and money restoring it from all the abuse history. Only 28,000 miles put on him in all this time. Runs like a champ. Braking is another thing. lol. Working on that. Thanks for being here for all us folks.
Follow up on removing the console I came across a step that was missing. You must remove trunk/gas switch bezel to access the switch terminals. There are four philip screws on the front & rear edges. I blindly pulled the terminals and screwed up the storage compartment light switch assembly. You were right that console is real fragile. I had to glue pieces I found broken. I installed a 93 armrest with fold out cup holders. I don't know if it was worth the aggravation. Pass on the info
Ross, thanks for the video. Console armrest with 4 nuts removed the armrest should come out, but looking at your console it looks like something else is holding it in place. I have a 91 but I have 93 with cup holders which I would like to put in my 91. Help would be appreciated. Art D

Once the console is out of the car if you look at the area where the armrest hinges and you will see the nuts that hold the armrest to the console.
@rosslongo9353 thanks. I see them in your video
Thanks Ross
