- In this episode of Wandering Wagners we showcase the New & Improved Lectric XP 3.0 with a Review!
Lectric bike link: lectricebikes.sjv.io/LP9vbj
Lectric sent us these bike to do a full review and it only made sense for us to do this because we've had the @LectriceBikes XP 2.0, and XPremium bikes so we could make a true comparison.
We DO NOT get paid for this review and we DO NOT make any money from Lectric!
Chapters:
00:00 Intro
00:30 Unboxing & product info
05:27 How we travel and Store Bikes during Travel
05:59 Unloading and snapping bikes together
06:50 Roding and Testing bikes
09:36 Final Thoughts
We unboxed, tested and had a lot of fun on these bikes! We both like them better than the 2.0 and the 3.0 is Mikes favorite! I still am torn between the XPremium and the 3.0 for being my favorite so far.
We disliked the seat on the bikes however, that's an easy fix with a quick swap out to their comfort package or another favorite bike seat that you prefer. They are available NOW and are only $999. Of course if you'd like a deeper discount the XP 2.0's are being offered at an even lower cost now that the 3.0 are out and available!
Bottom line is we really enjoy the updates that the 3.0 offers over the 2.0 and we really would recommend this bike! We are excited to use them a lot more!

Mike makes folding them and loading look way easy! I fight like hell with ours. Usually busting my shin at some point in the process lmao
😂 he's a seasoned pro by now and after doing the premiums which are 20lb heavier these are a breeze
Another reviewer suggested using the Velcro straps from the packaging to keep the tires together when folded.
Looking forward to giving it a try.
Yes you absolutely can do that! These were shipped with Velcro straps as well. We don't have a need, only because of the way we transport them but it couldn't hurt!
Same! It's so heavy and scary.
Mine didn't come with velcro so I'll have to buy separately.
I will try to politely say Lynn you do make the best bike reviews on youtube. The step thru looks pretty good, I do need to get a bike to build up my abilities after the multiple back surgeries. Glad you guys test them out for stability one handed Lynn and Mike tests the off trail ability. Much of where I would ride would be off paved trails. Thank you guys, stay safe and healthy. The park looked really nice too.
Thank you! Appreciate that. We try to keep the videos interesting and informative, plus entertaining haha
The park will be featured in an upcoming video here soon so stay tuned! Thanks for the comment👍🏻😁
Can’t wait for ours this month! Enjoy! Thank you
Oh awesome! Congratulations they are really fun
Just purchased a 3.0 after test riding one at Lectric headquarters. Staff was helpful, (after I rode the XP Premium that felt long, awkward, and yes it is Heavy).. You are so right about the 3.0 being easy and fun to ride. Your comments and review are spot on....Thanks!
That's great to hear! We gave our true thoughts and really do enjoy the ease and fun ride that the 3.0 offers. Glad you're enjoying your lectric bike too😁👍🏻
Always enjoy the bike reviews.
Thank you! We appreciate that😁
We are thinking on getting a pair of these. You guys seem to like them and have not seen any problems. Thanks for sharing.
We do really enjoy them! They make getting around big campgrounds really easy and fun
Very nice. You guys should be the sales Rep's for this company. I'm going to buy one!!!!
Funny you say that, they want us to be affiliate with them♥️
I love those bike’s you guys are having fun 🤩 that was Awesome
We always have fun and these bikes definitely have a fun factor!🎉😎
Great review!!
Thank you!😁👍🏻
Looks awesome.
Thank you! So much fun😎
Can't wait for mine. I just ordered one. My friend had one and I immediately wanted one
Can't blame you! They're pretty fun especially in warm weather😎
I'm not usually one to watch commercials, but you two make them okay!
Awe why thank you! We try to make them fun and realistic
@@WanderingWagners ~ 😁LoL 😆
I see, that like me, Mike thinks that responsible adult thing is WAY overrated. Look like fun bikes. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Haha absolutely! What's fun in doing everything like a boring adult😜
very nice bike review!
Thank you!
Nice review.
Thank you!👏🏻
great video, i just bought the one with hydraulic brakes. came with comfort package for free
Awesome! The hydraulic brakes are great, plus the comfort package makes it so much more comfortable
That’s A LOT of warnings for sure! Give those seats a fair shake as they say! Lol.
They definitely warned us lol
Great review, I like the RV garage, didn’t know these size garage doors existed
Thank you! We love this property. More garage than living space😁 both garages are heated and insulated as well
@@WanderingWagners yes always great to have that storage space , we have a 3 car garage and ready for a 4 lol
Hi! Thank you for the video. You both did an awesome job! Are those the standard wider tires that were on previous models, or are they a bit narrower? Thank you!
Thank you!😁 The 2.0 and 3.0 bikes have 3" wide tires standard and the xpremium has standard 4" wide tires.
Thanks for the video review. Question/opinion: Would this bike be capable to pull a small tow behind trailer? Trailer and small dog = 35 pounds.
Yes! Many people do that with their Lectric ebikes.
Supposed to get my wife’s 3.0 tomorrow after a FedEx delay. Shipping was quick…a little over a week.
Oh nice! Hopefully you guys enjoy them as much as we do
What state park were you testing the bikes? The bikes look fantastic. It’s on my wish list.
Harrison lake state park- that video about the trip/park will be out within the coming weeks!
We just purchased two bikes after watching your review. I'm very excited , can't wait to try them out . How long does it take for shipping .
If you live on the east coast, expect a month.
Awesome! Can't wait for you to try them out as well. As for shipping it tends to vary but a few weeks on average seems to be the best guess
I like mine although the weather has been poor since I got it....
Isn't that how it seems to go! 😩 Hopefully you'll have decent weather again soon and be able to get out there and ride!
Nice review! A quick question, once you got the bike, was it automatically able to hit 28 from pedal assist or did you have to enable that during settings?
Great question! We had to hold the + and- buttons together and go into the menu to change it to go faster. But even before that Lynn's bike was going 21+ with just throttle in flat ground!
@@WanderingWagners thank you!
Very welcome!
@@WanderingWagners Sorry, but I have another question. Do you think a 4”10 kid could ride a 3.0 step thru?
@@ginatchen the official specs put 4'10" as the minimum suggested rider height, so they'd probably be fine, and if they're a kid they'll definitely grow into it a bit too
Good review! No helmets though???
Nope!
Hope you enjoyed Harrison Lake SP!
We always do! That video will come soon
I'm interested in the Step Though (ST), but I have a concern with the lower pedals during turns. On your rides, have you striked the ground with the pedal on turns?
We have never hit the pedals in the ground
@@WanderingWagners That is good to know. 🙂 Thanks for the quick response.
Very welcome!
I'm an experienced cyclist.... I level the pedals on all turns right in the middle; it's too easy to hit something otherwise. :)
We have two step thru 3.0s. We both have scraped the inside pedal during sharp turns. Learn to keep the inside pedal up or flat during turns and use the throttle if speed is necessary (turns while going up hill). That's my only gripe about the bikes. Otherwise a lot of fun.
Very informative video, how tall are you guys, I am 5'9"", don't know how would I feel riding XP.3
Thank you! Mike is 6'2" and Lynn is 5'7" and they are very comfortable riding for both of us👍🏻
@Wandering Wagners thanks for the quick reply, I just placed the order. I hope I will be happy with my first ever ebike.. cheers.
Congratulations, we hope you like it as well!👏🏻
The biggest pro to buying a Lectric is they’re a safe bet.
Sure others claim to be faster and better. But this is the only “known” brand. Plus you don’t need to know Mandarin Chinese to call customer service.
Both are great bonuses haha they're reliable, fun, quick, can go the distance, and pop wheelies and do burnouts😂
It's so funny people consider these R.V. parks camping
There's no "wrong way" to camp in our opinion. We've done it all!👍🏻
Do you need a key for the 3.0 step thru like the 2.0?
Yes there is a key. Same place as the 2.0
My wife said she would like to see if Lynn can unfold/fold them up and put them in the Jeep.
That's a great idea! Next time we do that Lynn will do it👍🏻
It's Wag Time!!
Woohoo! Two videos in one week too!😜
We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
We really enjoy these bikes too👍🏻😊
If you would like to try the lite, you are welcome to try mine next time we are together.
Thanks G! We will keep that in mind. Those lites look fun too
@@WanderingWagners It is about 20 lbs. lighter which is easier for me. It doesn't have gears but does have petal assist and a throttle.
Thanks for posting I just bet my buddy 20 bucks you would never give the price no one does waste of time
We did give the price👍🏻 at 12:36
does it come with a bell?
Haha I don't think so but one could easily be installed
What’s up with the travel trailer?
Friend left it here for a week
thems tight pants!
Leggings usually are haha
How does it fair months later?
Going strong and they are probably our favorite model we've had from them so far!
any PROMO CODES? 😊😊😊 would love to order this today!
I don't have a specific promo code but this link should have their holiday special sales going on until tomorrow!
lectricebikes.sjv.io/LP9vbj
Let me know if it works! They gave us this to share with others
I bet Mikey would love doing some burnouts with the all new Lectric XPeak 🚲
Probably better suited for stunts too!😂
@@WanderingWagners I'm sure there would be many hills and valleys calling his name as he rode by ☠
Which one does she recommend?
Depends on what you're looking for.. we've had the 2.0, 3.0, x premium, and lites. They're all great but if you're looking for long miles or light weight, etc that'll change my answer depending on what you're looking for
Get these in the UK please.
We will relay the message!
Just got mine, i love it except that it has really loud and squeaky brakes. Any tips to fix?
Maybe back them off a little as they could be too tight and be louder because of that. Unfortunately, without hydraulic brakes there'll be noise.
@@WanderingWagners alright
She won't need the comfort seat but he might !!
Comfort package is great either way haha
@@WanderingWagners DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHY I THINK SHE WON'T NEED ONE ?
Yes....🤦🏼♀️
they still kept the small motor in it !!
My guess is so that it could still be classified as a class 2 bike, though not sure
@@WanderingWagners they can easily put 1000 watts motor with 1800 peak power like my Ariel Kepler.still class 1-2-3
Helmets
You are free to wear them if you wish👍🏻😊
The both of you go through a lot of E bikes and I can’t even afford one and I never will and running bicycle is quite literally my only motive transportation you’re around even in the winter granted, I know if I had any bike I’d have to take the battery inside because it gets ungodly cold, where I live even colder than you way colder like 35 below zero which I still ride bike
Wow, props to you for still riding a bike in that cold weather! We store everything inside when not in use and generally don't use bikes in the winter due to ice and snow. We use the Jeep in those conditions instead.
We tested these bikes for Lectric👍🏻
@@WanderingWagners yeah, I need to address and heated gloves though but I can’t drive because I’m legally blind so that’s why I’m on a bicycle and in the winter I have my route where I know where the ice builds up and what not but one of these would be ideal because of the fat tires, which I currently do not have not even close, but yeah, I’m not really afraid of the ice because I know where it is and I know where not to go, but one of those would be ideal but it’s just not gonna happen which is fine. I actually saw one parked outside of the store. I was at the other day really nice Evike but I didn’t get to talk to him but yeah I really want one but it’s just not gonna happen. I saw the price he said the price that’s the majority of my monthly income because I’m on Social Security.
Where area do you live in?
@@WanderingWagners Fargo North Dakota where it gets stupid, cold and windy but I’m used to it. It was 75° yesterday I was wearing a winter coat and gloves today.
Not that much improved on my XP2.0.. I’ll wait on XP4.0 Maybe better hydraulic brakes this time..
We were disappointed that the 3.0 didn't have hydraulic brakes but the XPremium does! It's awesome. But I imagine they want to keep separation between the different bike types. At least the brakes are better then the 2.0 brakes.
Not sure it's fair to say all of FedEx sucks. I work there and try my best and never have messed up a package. Just like many humans make humanity look evil but not all humans are bad. Nice video btw
True, however we've had a large amount of issues from FedEx. We even have them on video literally cartwheeling a Lectric bike upon delivery in the past. Sad more people don't take more pride like you do! Not every experience is bad with them but far too many are unfortunately.
Thanks for watching!
My new lectric 3.0 arrived broken from fedex😢
Oh no! That sucks. Hopefully you can get it returned and get another one that FedEx hopefully doesn't damage again
I think the 3.0 has. 1000 watt motor
Straight from lectric: XP 3.0: 500W motor at 55nm torque
@@WanderingWagners I just got off their site and it says the 3.0 has 1000 watt motor at 55nm torque. I just ordered it. Can’t wait to ride it. My 2.0 broke down a while back.
@@WanderingWagners sorry you’re right they just upgraded the 500 watt motor to where it can get the 1000 watt peak output. My 3.0s supposed to be here next week I can’t wait
I don’t see Mike do any peddling. 😁
He did going up that steep incline😂
How heavy
64lbs
Rofl fed ex - those come all the way from China like that
They are shipped from lectric in Phoenix
@@WanderingWagners after arriving from China. ..
What I'm saying is Lectric receives everything shipping/receiving, assembles them in Phoenix, them ships them, from Phoenix. They don't come straight from China. Therefore, it is FedEx that has the ability to damage the bikes in shipping since they assemble them then ship from AZ via FedEx.
@@WanderingWagners could be , I was under impression they came packed , assembled , and ready to reship tho . The factories over there make thousands each day , mostly for themselves
You need to raise your seat. You are too tall for the way you are riding. Knees should not be bent like that.
the fit is perfect for us- thank you!
THE FLORIDA CHARLES SHOW USES THESE BIKES TO PULL THEIR DOG IN A TRAILER AND THE DOG KNOCKS IT OVER ON PURPOSE
Yes they do have the 2.0 version of these bikes but I doubt their dog Nikki knocks it over on purpose
@@WanderingWagners NOPE SAME BIKES
Be careful folks the people at electric will tell you one thing, And the truth is a different thing altogether. I will not be doing business with them again.
We haven't had any issues like that. Sorry to hear you have!
Odd channel. Father and daughter live in an RV together???
😂 we are only 4 years apart in age
@@WanderingWagners oh geez. I am 8 years older than my wife. 😔sorry
