Just fyi, it’s not a brake light, it’s a rear light. It doesn’t react to braking. But still nice and bright when the lights front and back are turned on.
Thank you so much for this great review. I finally decided which bike I wanted today, after doing much research and comparison of brands. I'm buying this bike tomorrow.
lectricebikes.sjv.io/AW3vv1 when you go to buy it. it helps :)
I have a XP 2.0. 5700 miles on it, stock battery, calipers, frame, and suspension. Demon of a bike, I've done mods to it, can hit dangerous speeds of 35mph, 40 downhill/wind.
Nice!
What mods and how?
40 amp controller upgrade, 20ah batt, 1500w motor@@tayss333
How I mod it
This looks like a bike that could start forcing other more premium models down in price. The value is crazy, it'll probably be what I save up for as my first E-bike. Good speed, compact. looks nice, good battery life and ridiculously low price
Huge company too if you ever have any problems with it. They will take care of you
Seems like a very good bike for the price range! Love the colors too!
That fender noise was on my XP 2.0 It just needed to be tightened.
I got David Brand New's turtleneck stem kit and it feels like it handles even better IMO.
thats the way to go!
The XP 2.0 is my first ebike and I still love it! It's been reliable, versatile, agile, and durable. I've fallen a couple times and jumped it quite a bit, I go hard on it, and it took it all like a champ. It grips super well with street tires too, highly recommend some CST Big Boat tires for the XP 2.0/3.0 for paved surfaces.
Pro tip: You can mount the headlight in one of the holes where you'd mount a front rack. This is especially good for mounting the Elite headlight as it is heavier. Mounting it above the suspension will make the headlight much more stable when going over bumps.
cant go wrong with these bikes at all for the price. it's so nice. reminds me of the jasion eb7 but the added support for accessories and rear rack of 150lbs is impressive

I have Lectric XP 1.
It still runs after three years and the customer service is banging, they just sent a replacement controller for me.
Awesome!
My Dream bike is of course the Revv1. Life getting in the way a bike that's less than $1,000 seem more insight. I've watched many reviews on the bike but, you're the only one I trust with reviews.
Thanks again for another awesome video MR. CD
can't go wrong with this and it's a huge company. they will take care of you if any problems happen under warranty
@@MrCentralDriver That's what I'm looking for. I live in a mostly flat area as well so rage should go far enough why the larger battery
My dream bike is also the revv 1 at least because I can afford it and I am saving up for it
u can change the delay when you actuate the motor in the P settings
I have the XP lite from last Gen and it has been lovely. And even as a giant of a man (6'4" and 215lbs) it's got enough range for me to bike to work 21mi if I keep it in lv4 and it will fully charge while I'm at work. My only gripe is the size and speed, since a lot of people just don't notice you when you have to be on the roads. Also if you start in PAS5 from standing on the pedals you absolutely will be in a wheelie
I guess I should also note that the bike is STURDY. I had a guy blow through a stop sign on a blind corner and hit me last September and besides a scratch from his license plate the bike was perfectly fine in a low speed crash with a car
@@theclassypsychopath1448 Hope you were ok too...
You can adjust the settings to not take off so hard. Not sure which one it is but it'll tell you in the menu. I had to change it to not take off so jerky.
What do you think about doing a short over your computer editing rig? Like talk about ram, processor, the video card, and the software you use. I'd be interested in that!
So many people own this bike it might be cool to do a series of videos upgrading this bike.
David brand new already did that
@@MrCentralDriver you can do more!!! :)
Looking to get one of these only to mod it with a 72v BBHD or cyc pro gen 3 …..such a light bike it would fly with an upgraded motor
I'm eyeing up the cyc pro gen 3 for my mountain bike, which currently is running a 1500w motor with 52v battery. I put it together over 2 years ago and it's been fantastic. 8000 miles later I find myself looking for more power even though it goes about 35mph on a full charge. Someone ran a 72v battery and a cyc motor and got 50mph which sounds like an amazing boost lol.
I like seeing real ebikes on here. Not just the more motorcycle types.
i agree when it's a good bike
@@MrCentralDriver I agree, unfortunately all the cool ones are the really fast motorcycle type.
@@MatsteriousI disagree. Vitilan and Vanmoof are innovative pioneers in the space.
I need.
To make a video how to put the range set on and take it off on the bike
How many miles did you peddle and battery level at end?
I just ordered this as my first e-bike😊👍
Hopefully you used the links to help the channel. Congrats man
Congrats! How long did it take for your bike to ship after you ordered it?
Mine is making rattle/hummig sounds coming from the rear but other than that it runs super smooth
Bro u should do a comparison on the gforce t42 vs lectric 3.0 stronger, faster and how far they would go Unlocked speeds
You really need to check out the ridstar q20 its insane for the price its my everyday commuter
Wouldn't it be better to put a class 2 sticker on your Suron? The smaller tires will give you a mechanical advantage when climbing hills. I'm sure it's a pretty good hill climber.
I just bought the same exact bike and mine doesn’t make any noise like that whatsoever when I ride it even when I’m going over bumps and I’m dirt or rocky gravel roads.
Nice bike I've been watching it
I love that bike
Great review. I have the xp 3.0 stepthru had it since April and I found it to be kind of heavy. Maybe it's just because I'm kind of a skinny guy and have a hard time with these things. It's a really nice bike for the price. I feel like just riding around the trails in my town I've contributed to the sale of at least 3 of these with so many people stopping me and asking about it. My only complaint is that I think the tires are wearing unusually fast. I'm only 130LB and have 850 Miles on mine now and the rear tire is noticeably way more worn out compared to the front. I'm not doing any crazy burnouts or slamming on the brakes either. It is my first e bike so maybe this is normal. But at this rate I'll have to replace the rear tire by the end of the year because I plan to ride in the winter as well.
makes since because they are knobbies. if you go with a street tire you'll be good. Sur ron dirt tires wear out in like 500 miles. this big is for sure lighter than most unless u get a low powered small battery ebike. im used to these bikes being 80-100lbs
@@MrCentralDriver Are street tires still safe on loose gravel and trails?
Your reviews are good, but you show current/power on display when riding, and if you have voltage, don't talk about battery bars (wrote this before your closing help on battery).
So if weight limit is 330ish and cargo is 150 is that included in 330 or additional?
How do you lock it up
Yo do the fiido m1 250 motor 48battery can you do that one
Very nice 👍👍👍
Today I drove mine. Max speed was 20 I was pedaling and it was level 5 I am surprised you did around 30
30mph on pedaling. only 20 on throttle. it has to be changed in the setting to allow the biek to go faster
Is this standard? You didn’t get the extra cushion seat? I’m debating to add the comfort seat, also did you pedal with out being on and just using the shifter ? Thanks for the awesome video
Also did you have to unlocked the extra speed ? Lol
You have to unlock speed in settings. And I did pedal without assistance. Very easy compared to other bikes.
Thorough review! Any chance you provide bike discounts codes?
They had some but not anymore. Normally only for launches. Using the link in the description helps the channel if you buy one.
I love my XP lite the torque is nice 👍
I added BMX bars and change the pedals now it’s a real hooligan bike 😎🤣
Bmx bars are such a game changer
@@MrCentralDriver really is✔️☝🏽
Get you a swamp cooler and put it on a furniture dolly works great ..and you can use it to put tools on ..just sayin
Trying to choose between this bike or the RAEV Bullet. Bullet has 13 amp compared to XP at 10.2
the one i'm reviewing is 14ah at 1199. the raev is 13ah at 1199. Revv1 is gonna be more comfortable and more flashy but much slower than the lectric. lectric pro is compact fit and room for storage
Just bought this using your link ✅
thanks man :)
I just order 3 of them, will be nice...
Sweet
I Got to get it.
Under worst case scenario, you can best expect a range of 12.31 miles per charge on a standard Lectric XP while you can expect a range of 17.23 miles per charge on a Lectric XP 3.0 Long Range. To find worst case, always divide the watt hour number by the magical number 39.
That's barely enough range to take a fast tour of your neighborhood.Pass.
The utility of this folding ebike is unmatched in the $1k - $2k price range. I modified my Lectric XP 3.0 (72v 2000w full hydraulic 35-38mph top speed) and use it every weekend to pick up groceries.
Can’t go wrong with this
What modifications did you do?
@@StumptheOG 72v 19.2ah battery, 2000w hub motor kit from NB Power, and Tektro Auriga HD E-500 hydraulic brakes.
Where did u get the high output battery
@@rubinashmon5411 I went with a Chinese battery seller on Amazon because they were the most responsive. I found local and USA based battery makers but they didn't respond quick enough when I was ready to order the battery.
Yoo quick question. I'm seriously considering buying this as my first ebike. I almost pushed the button in the shopping cart but I've had about 5 or 6 people tell me not to because of recent recalls and system issues (Bike shutting off)...do you still recommend this bike?
Me or the new owner of this bike had zero issues with it. They are a huge company. Better than buying from a smaller company that might waste your time and take Months to get replacement parts
@@MrCentralDriver Thanks
Would you recommend this e-bike for a college student living in a dorm
Hell yeah!
Would it be difficult to bring up a set upstairs?
This bikes light. I wouldn't think so.
Vitilan i7 Pro is the direct competitor with more torque and 28 mph throttle capable👍
I’ve seen those bikes as well. I would trust lectric more as they are a bigger company
@@MrCentralDriver Lectric is based here in my city, Phoenix, I've been to their HQ. Awesome people, the bikes are reliable, well-designed, and they take good care of their customers.
The Vitilan is a MUCH better bike but $500 more. Much bigger battery, full suspension, a 750 watt 1200 watt peak motor 25amp controller. Lectric does seem to be focusing on customer service and it’s a great first e bike for the price.

How many teeth on the front sprocket?
52tooth
What is ghost peddling?
When you run out of gearing and are peddling faster than it’s propelling you.
I heard somewhere the top speed using only throttle was 28 mph.. is that true
I heard there is a setting you can change in advanced settings but I never messed with it
@@MrCentralDriver okayy!! Thank you
Very good ebike for the money I don't really like the look of it but if you convert it so you can put bmx style handlebars it totally changes the look of it and ends up looking real cool 🚵👍✌
Just got mine and it broke
19:15 😂😂😂
Did Engwe send you the Engine Pro for free?
yes
22:08 🤣
Lol I would have fallen getting on it
It’s not a brake light
💯‼️💙
;)
So is it 500w or 1000w?
It’s 500w continuous with a peak of 1000w
When does it kick in to 1000w?
⚡⚡⚡
What app. Are you using on your phone
speedometer on ios
0:36 NOT a brake light.. its just a tail light.. there is a difference
There is a code to unlock 🔑 speed
there is videos online how to unlock the speed limit of the lectric
@@Sky76-78ua-cam.com/video/fqLM4dRBnhU/v-deo.html
Only unlocks pedal assist though. Throttle is locked at 20
Aww don’t look like you can get the 100 off any more 😢
My bike died at 400 miles
:O
Not a brake light. Just a plain rear light.
You right
Heh, it feels meh after being spoiled with all the K6 videos. 😆
K6 isn't a light folding bike, so you can't look at it that way😅
haha
The claim is not accurate, sorry. Check a few hundreds cheaper and similarly equipped, Aipas A2 Elite, enjoy finding the better market value.
With the bolted on cargo rack and mechanical brakes? That doesn’t come fully assembled?
Buy the bike😂
Best bang for your buck if you want annoying ,squeaky grindy brakes and warped rotors. Key that's a pain. Bought two of them both come in damaged. I do not believe it was a shipping problem. Boxes look fine bikes were damaged inside. Had to get a new derailleur within a month. Had to replace the battery stopped working within a month. What is top notch is their customer service. They're willing to give your money back, exchange, and replace no problem at the time of this message. It's better to spend money on more quality less complaints.
It is a great bike, however I have one comment about your video. It appears that you are blind to stop signs. Not a good look when demonstrating electric bikes for new riders.
top of the line! for cheaper parts.. no rear shock, cheap front fork with no travel, seat is mid at best, pedals are not good, low level Shimano gearing/shifter, 500w motor not 1000w, LCD with "energy bar" screams Chinese low level lcd I can go on with every component. no gearing/shifter, 500w motor not 1000w, LCD with "energy bar". $475 in parts total.. Should be a $799 e bike. Everyone kisses Lectric but for the sponsor, since they are the big NOOB rider brand with most $$. Wish people were more honest.
I agree they are for people starting out that want something cheap but it’s worth it in my opinion. Huge company. Accessories. Huge support if you have any issues. Not like small companies where u can’t get a replacement part easy
The throttle only performance is the worst. This bike is a down grade from the 2.0. It's sad.
how so
@@MrCentralDriver With the 2.0 I got 20mph with throttle only. Even when going up hill with the back bags loaded I still got 20mph. The long range 3.0 only goes 18.5 and not even that speed is consistent The speed fluctuates between 17 and 18.5 on flat surface.
Up hill is 15mph..it's sad. I wish I didn't sell my 2.0.
At Some Point, You Will Be the NEXT PERSON on Earth to DIE.
Back:
Sobering thought, isn't it? You may not have realized it, but every second, two people die. What happens then? Is there a Heaven and Hell? Are you "good enough" to get to Heaven? Look at the Ten Commandments. Have you ever lied or stolen? (regardless of value) Ever looked with lust and therefore committed adultery in your heart? (see Matthew 5:28) You may see these as "no big deal" but God takes them seriously. He is Holy and said, "be Holy, for I am Holy." God sent His Son, Jesus, to live the perfect life we never could. He took God's wrath on the cross for sinners. Jesus took the punishment of His people’s sins against God, then He rose from the dead. Cry out to God for mercy, confessing and forsaking your sins. Put your trust in Jesus (rather than "good works") to save you. Read your Bible daily and obey what you read.
thanks for that
DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE FROM LECTRIC E-BIKES. They do not accept returns on there bikes even if they are shipped DAMAGED! I received my bike with the rear tire off the rim, tire flat, frame hold handle damaged and major frame paint scuffs, some thru to bare metal. BIKE IS NOT RIDEABLE. You have to PAY for return shipping and get this.... they charge you $150.00 restocking fee if they even except a return. There in the buisness to SELL. They do not back up there produces shipped. They are a small bike company pushing bikes out to the consumer. NO HELP IF YOU RECEIVED A DAMAGE BIKE unless your willing to work on the bike yourself and they may send you parts in a months time! Good deal for them BAD deal for the customer wanting to RIDE there new bike. You have a 50/50 chance of receiving a defective bike. All i wanted was a return label to send the damage bike back for a refund. They said read there RETURN POLICY. No returns! period.
So junk, bikes fucks up after 300 miles shuts off
