Bruce Smith was a 1st Round 1st overall pick in 1985 NFL Draft was selected by the Buffalo Bills but despite those 4 Super Bowl Losses he still continued to be as the if not the greatest players of All-Time he still has 200 Sacks in his Hall Of Fame career! 1:33
Lambert had that little extra going on with that smile, but LT and Butkus were scary. It wasn’t that Ronny Lott had his finger cut off because he crushed it, he told the doc to cut it off because he would’ve missed games if he let it heal.
Kam Chancellor wasn't one of the most feared safeties. He was THE last true enforcer the NFL may ever see again. Just look to the Broncos Hawks superbowl. Was a whole team effort, but everyone was afraid to catch the ball over the middle. Demariyus Thomas and Wes Welker are two legendary receivers. Both known for being able to take a shot and walk it off. With Peyton Manning, a top 3 QB ever throwing them the ball on the best statistical offense in NFL history. They are going to eat right? Nope, everyone was rattled. That defense was insane. But it wasn't Earl Thomas covering sideline to sideline, Richard Sherman locking up the receiver and baiting bad throws, Bobby Wagner reading every play or that underrated D Line creating pressure every play. It was Kam running like a freight train and destroying everyone that truly threw that elite offense off balance so much. No disrespect to the other players on this list. Dawkins (and shout to my man Bob Sanders) were terrifying hard hitting safeties in recent years. I think history may forget Kam because of his injuries cutting the career short. But I'm spreading the gospel that he should be in consideration for best strong safety of all time.
I’m surprised you missed Deacon Jones & Jack Youngblood. Deacon Jones coined the term “sack” & Jack Youngblood has a wicked last name & played the 79 NFC championship game & Super Bowl with a broken leg. Both instilled a ton of fear for the Rams. Definitely above Darnold.
Ok I might be a little bias with this question, since I'm a Steelers fan. But if you have Mean Joe Greene on the list why not have Jack Lambert too?? I mean Lambert made the Boogeyman look under his bed at night.
I know he didn’t play that Long But Sean Taylor Should Have Been On This List. I’ll Put Him Over Aaron Donald. Not taking away from Donald He’s Great He’s Dominant But Sean Taylor Really Put Fear In People
How do we not talk about Night Train Lane anymore is was the ultimate cornerback he was in my opinion the best to ever do it because in a 12 game season he got 14 picks and he knew how to hit just search up NFL films and then Night Train Lane and watch the 3 minute video and they go over it phenomenally
Great video!!!..You did real research unlike a lot of these channels that say "so and so in history " when they only go back about 10 years
Appreciate u
