Jack Tatum deserves to be in the hall of fame
Man, I didn't know that Coach Madden did that for the Patriots and Darryl Stingly back in the day. Not only was he a heck of a broadcast analyst and coach but a heck of a man as well, and that piece of information solidifies it.

I did a report in the 3rd grade on Jack Tatum. He definitely belongs in the HOF.
When people today are still looking back in awe of your career and the fear that you instilled in opponents, you belong in the Hall without question. Tatum's presence was accutely felt by every team that lined up against him
He should be in the Hall of Fame!
Yup, he deserves to be in the hall.
That was a clean football hit.
Not his fault. Sucks for everybody.
Hope both of them Rest In Peace.
These men deserve their own "heavy hitters hall of fame".

I'm a die hard Steelers fan and i do agree that Jack Tatum should be in the hall of fame
I did not know that he was not in the NFL HOF. He was a Hall of Famer long before that hit on Stingley.
He deserves to be there!
Jack Tatum should have been in the HOF long long ago !
For what being a man who crippled someone and never apologized to the man for what happened to him,
I became a Raider fan in 1970. I remember all those plays and he had many more just as nasty that I can't recall. When I was a child, I used to think, "Why would anyone run towards Tatum?" Then I realized, they weren't. Jack was running at them.
