3 out of these 5 watches are definitely not a starter watch!
All 5 are very much entry level luxury
No link in description for giveaway
It's linked in the description. Thanks! 🙏
Great picks. How about my 90s IWC, Breitling and Omegas that run on the 7750? No inhouse movements but still luxury watches?
Yes still luxury watches as this was the go to movement for its time. Highly reliable and great overall. Thank you for the continued support 🙏
Nice content Marco! I feel it should’ve been longer 😊 Do have the tudor black bay burgundy but definitely would like to have the other 4, those all look great!
where is the link to the give away.

Fabulous picks. All these together make a great collection. Though I am confused about what you consider entry level luxury (not that’s it’s particularly important) but at the beginning of the video, if I’m not mistaken, you said that the cut of from entry level luxury would be the 3k price point, then you went on to present these wonderful pieces, all above 3k but continued to refere to them as “entry level”.
ON a budget you could look at the older Black Bay with the ETA movement and still have an amazing watch
Definitely all hit the mark on entry level luxury. I honestly think it’s also the Goldilocks zone for high end watches. In regard to the Speedmaster, I don’t think I’ll ever own one. It’s just not my thing.
Not sure about Moonwatch as a first collection item... You need to manually wind it everyday and I heard the screw isn't easy to turn... Fully agree with GS for beginners.
There's so many different brands and so many different factors creating joy and sadness, just stick to one brand and collect it I say for the sake of continuity and sanity 😂 😂😂😂
Fair enough, but one brand is so limiting. So many amazing watches out there to be! Hope you enjoyed this 🙏
Funny that you consider under 3k watches aren't really luxurious, i totally get it, Vacheron, ap, Patek, Breguet, Jaeger, so on and so forth with the cheapies, Rolex, Tudor, Omega, heuer, all of them real manufacture cost under that line of flotation you mentioned
Yes no doubt but that's only really due to massive economies of scale which have been perfected over the years. I'm not mad at a business maximizing their profit so long as it doesn't diminish quality. Also, don't want people to think there are not some amazing watches to be had under $3,000. It's just a benchmark for me personally - that by the way people can totally disagree with. Hope you enjoyed this 🙏
@MarcoFerranteWatches i did enjoy it and agreed on the scale equation
How do I sign up for giveaway?

Nomos Club Sport wr rating 1000 ft, 300 m
Thank you! Yes error on my part. Hope you enjoyed this 🙏
Nice haircut!
I will buy Omega Speedmaster professional ASAP if they launch a version with at least 100 meter water resistance
i think the seiko is best best best. its a sad story for them.👍👍
Seiko is good just not luxury in my opinion. Grand Seiko is their luxury line. Hope you enjoyed this 🙏
@@MarcoFerranteWatches there work is great ,the finish ,movements, etc they are modern, not like some swiss on old machines, im an engeneer and i was a bit chocked to see somebody make dail on old machines, its the story.. marketing, seiko value out the store is half, thats the bump where the fight against, its the way i see it,
IWC for the win.
30 years ago I had to choose between Breitling and Tudor as my first luxury watch. Like an idiot!, I went with the Breitling Colt. So predictable, and so narrow-minded. lol
It happens, hard to look back at something with hindsight bias as Breitling was a massively popular brand then. Hope you enjoyed this video 🙏
@MarcoFerranteWatches We're all on limited time. Your videos have replaced the Luxury Bazaar time slot on my UA-cam channel. Does that say anything about your work? Happy to see you come into "your own" role. Best of Luck.
Thank you, thank you for not mentioning Rolex! There are a lot of really great watches out there (including the one's you mentioned) other than Rolex and it's good to see that you recognize that 👍
My impression is that people in the watch industry consider 5k USD (MSRP) to be the floor for luxury 'proper', as opposed to entry level luxury, which can start as low as 1000 or 1500, depending on who you ask. I also get the feeling that many also don't consider entry level luxury to be 'real' luxury and the term is just used for the sake of convention.
The term entry level luxury (referring to Longines, Rado, Tag etc. as opposed to the entry point to mid tier luxury) isn't that useful to me and sounds a bit condescending. Like it's a good starter watch or something but not a legitimate offering. Perhaps it should be replaced by another term such as premium or something equivalent with multiple tiers within that general category to differentiate brands lumped in that group.
Overall, these are great picks, although the Moonwatch is a grail piece for many enthusiasts, and not just 'poors' either!😆
Looking trim
Thank you! Down 32lbs 🙏
We can love and admire watches without owning them so Buy only if you wear it ,would be my suggestion. Marco Another nice topic brother but i think you are constrained by time limit , I don’t mind a little longer videos if content demands it .
Amen

Come on be real, a $8000 Omega Moonwatch is not a starter watch “entry level”. Longines, Sinn, Christopher Ward, Tudor, Oris, Nomos, Hamilton are starter watches Or entry level.
A starter watch and and entry level luxury watch are two different things. A moonwatch is very much an entry level luxury watch. The other brands you mentioned, other than possibly Tudor, are not luxury level watches.
@@whereRbearsTeethno, it’s not
@@mz8393 Definitely is, kid.
Grand Seiko should never be considered an entry level luxury watch. It's an achievement level watch. As in you've achieved enough knowledge about horology to completely dismiss hype and the crippling insecurity of trying to impress others who won't remember your name an hour after meeting you. I'd say the Speedmaster is also a pure tool watch laborious in its movement build in the case of the manual wind mechanism.
Tudor, definitely an entry level watch. But $4k for an unremarkable movement is overpriced for a 3 hand watch. Watch inflation is out of control. The price of a new Tudor is how many weeks pay you had to give up for a second hand Rolex 30 years ago. Especially the Explorer. The Tudor not even an in-house movement, Rolex bought Kenessi to supply them like they bought Aegler and all the other outside companies who had been supplying Rolex all along.
Omega and grand Seiko clasp suck. Tudor has a Tfit on their bracelets. Before I buy a GA or Omega I would buy a Rolex.
Every day wear? The polished Nomos bracelet is going to scratch super easily and then it will look horrible within a short time.
Scratches make the watch unique and your own. If you can't admire scratches on a watch I would tell you to consider not collecting watches. Akin to not wanting to drive a car to keep the mileage down lol. Hope you enjoyed this video 🙏
@@MarcoFerranteWatches I did enjoy the video. Thanks.
Dude. These are not entry level. Huh?
They are entry level for people with a good education and a decent paid job. It's not for working class people
